This car truly amazing having great amount of sheer comfort and reliability. Best performance you would get on long streches ,a decent city commuter too and having lots of power above 1500 rpm goes till top end. Its the car with crdi 2.2ltr 4cyl. Refined engine it is as refined as the petrol units. This engine produce 200 hp@1350 and 440 nm of torque at 1450@rpm.

Exterior Exteriors are very captivating and dynamic though little classy but yet turns out to be a head turner always :-)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Could be more luxurious. Talking about space is good for a family of 5 plus luggage.. Small potholes n bumps are nothing for this giant Very comfortable. Biggest tyres give some extra confidence on the road.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox ZEN- Zero Engine Noise after you climb 60km/h. Gear box is very smooth, just effortless to drive. I have driven my car in city for 1000 kms till now n i got an average of 9.5 kmpl. I guess its fair for a new car of this segment. Its anyways gonna increase by atleast 1-2 kms. Also, i m eager to go on a long highway drive which should be very shortly :-)

Final Words If you are the one who likes to be different from others and leave a mark. This is a car for you and m sure you'll not repent.

Areas of improvement Something on the interiors n a little bit on features like navigation & touch screen audio interface could have made this a little more price worthy.

I bought this vehicle when 4WD version was out of production in India. They just newly launched All new Santafe Model without4WD options. As a enthusiast car driver I wanted only manual driven so I went for it. After clogging 42000 kms , I found out that clutch was worn out, so Hundai dealer said without inspection of the car to replace the said part. In just 42000, couldn't believe it.usually this part is well preformed up to 100000/1200000 kms. Cost comes Heavy around 40000 INR. And of course it is not covered in warranty by any Insurance Company. I have 25 Years of driving experience but clutch failure didn't occurred in those years.Companies reason is bad driving habits. Just can't believe.

Exterior Quite Good Looks, It look's huge because of maximum width in its segment. Looks Stylish and after being an S.U.V, it gives you the feel of a Luxurious car from outside.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Sitting in the driver's seat when you look through the windsheild, you feel that the car is in total contol of you. Interiors are good enough, but could have been more better if the dashboard was not that old style one. Loaded with features that no other S.U.V of it;s segment offer's, that's the best part of it. Good space in all the rows compared to other S.U.V's. It's Comfortable in front but a liitle stiff in the second and the third row.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerful Engine. It is just amazing. What amazing Pick up. On the top, no one can beat it. And also gives a good fuel economy after such good power. Easy shift gearbox also. It is just so swift.

Ride Quality & Handling Fabulous Ride Quality, Grip's the road very well, Driving a S.U.V, it feel so easy.

Final Words Just Fantastic. Offcourse the price is higher than other S.U.V of it's class but it's worth, you are getting such great power and features also. Indian people allways want more of their money.

Areas of improvement Can improve with the interiors, like more attractive dashboard with touch screen dsplay pannel. Reverse camera is a must for such a big car. More comfortable seats at the back. Otherwise just terrific, no word's for its immense power and style.

Exterior Good looking but not comparable to Q5 / X3 in looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and comfortable interiors. Could have been a bit more jazzed up.. Good legspace and shoulder room.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very powerful engine with excellent torque. The car can fly. Fuel economy nothing great but nor is it bothersome.

Ride Quality & Handling You dont feel the speed till you see the speedometer. It has very good grip on the road and is a very safe car to drive.

Final Words Must buy if you love driving long distances. Not for someone looking for snob value as at the end of the day it is a HYUNDAI product. After spending RS 30 lacs+ the owner cares more for people outside then for people inside the car. However it is definitely a better product compared to Fortuner.

Areas of improvement Internal styling can be improved. Although it is spacious with comfortable 3 rows, the interors can definitely look better.

Santa Fe came to India as a totally new product and from a company like Hyundai which specialises in low end cars. This car has all you can get in that price range. It’s just amazing! The quality of interior, features, 5-star safety ratings and much more. Engine is just phenomenal!! The power and the pickup is just amazing. It pulls up to 100 kmph and more speeds very easily. Never made us feel like we made the wrong choice of preferring this SUV over the Toyota Fortuner, Chevy Captiva etc. Truely the most reliable and a all rounder SUV.

 Too much of plastic. Does not give the feel of a Rs. 28L car. trims have to be improved. Sound system far below average considering what competitors are offering.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine pick up great. But fuel economy very bad.  getting only 6.5km / ltr in city for a AT version. Not acceptable.

Final Words

 The AT version is not at all Rs. 28L worth. This vehicle should not cost more than Rs. 20-Rs. 22L on road. because other AT versions were not out in market, Hyundai is taking public for a ride.

Areas of improvement  

 Interiors, Fuel economy. Make it feel like a wanted car. Over all car is good but as I mentioned, it does not make you feel buying a Rs. 28 L car.

 

Good car exterior and interior, great engine pick up even at mid speed. Handles welltoo much plastic inside, does not feel like a Rs.28L car. Very bad fuel economy.
