Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Music system is the only plus point
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox If you go by the features, Tiago XZA seems to be value for money. But when you own one, simply getting overwhelmed by its features, you will realize it is the worst buy and total waste of hard earned money. I own a Tiago XZA of which the AMT broke down within 1400 Kms and even before second free service and the service team could not rectify it even after two weeks. The car has been returning very poor mileage of about 9Kpl(with AC) to 12Kpl(w/o AC) in city , less than half of the claimed mileage. The service people told that it will be improved after first service and it never did improve even after the service but went further down to 8 to 11 KPL and the pulling also got reduced. Poor engine refinement with high engine noise and vibration. My bitter experiences with Tiago XZA compel me to warn that, going for it is likely to be a blunder and worst decision.

Dont buy this car if mileage is your priority. Company declared 23 km/litre for petrol. But even after my first service and 3000 km i am still getting less than 10.
This is the worst promise and shocking from TATA. Please dont buy how low is the price. this is my personal experience. really disappointing as this is my first car.
Even the ac I use is always on single point. Till now 3000 km was driven its giving less than 10km/liter. Mileage very very poor(Petrol).
Exterior The car looks very different from other TATAs. Front grill looks fresh and new.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I personally like the seat cushion, seat finish, leg room space, height adjustable driver seat. The music console is very good and great clarity with enough bass punch.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Mileage very very poor(Petrol).
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth.
Final Words Don'y buy if mileage is your priority.

Exterior Superb, better than grand i10 and solid build quality..one Honda city hit me from back side on bumper. But just a 1 inch scratch on the metal.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Better than i20, good leg room at back and front passengers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine (P) XZ : is smooth..no noice, smooth shiftof gears (I drove 1000kms) average in CITY is 17 km with AC on.. on hihgway without AC in ECO mode I gt 25km/litre (I drove in early morning) 140 KMS with a average speed of 70 -80 kms/hr.
Ride Quality & Handling Good steering and stable. Feel like a big car crusing along.
Final Words I am hapywith TATA MOTORS and happy with Tiago. Its in my budget and good City car I gave a run for Baleno, VW Polo and just zipped through and for a family of 4 and handy for quick long drives.
Areas of improvement Please work on gear vibration in idle mode that's all I think it is more to do with Engine config (3cylinder) for better economy.

Exterior The evteriors are just amazing for the segment and price point. It looks good and stylish
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is good for the class, but a little less than Grand i10 but with the price point , it's great value for money. The interiors are stylish, great infotainment system and the interiors too are great for the segment.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I drove a revotron(petrol) engine and found it peppy. Good enough for the city ride , but strangely could feel vibrations inside the cabin when the car was idle and when I say vibrations , they were too much for my comfort. DOn't know if it was for that particulat test vehicle only. Rest the drive quality was ok.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is ok as compared to grand i10 which I felt was a bit better.
Final Words Looking at the price point, it's a great value for money offering from Tata.

It is a good try from Tata. But the problem is that it vibrates like an auto rickshaw. I know it is a 3 cylinder engine and i should not expect BMW type comfort but the vibrations are unbearable. When the car is at idle, everything vibrates, right from gear shifter lever to the window, the whole car vibrates like carzy. It is impossible to sit in car when it is in idle and engine is running. Although once you start moving, vibration fades away. But if you live in a city with a lot of light, you will regret buying this car. There is a constant tick tick sound coming from engine. Milage is around 13 in city with AC and i achieved 20 on highway without AC.
I have driven it for nearly 3500 Km. Average is fine for a petrol car. I have made service centre people check the car thrice for any abnormalities and they say that vibrations can not be reduced as it is present in every petrol tiago. However, I did check 4 other tiago and found this in only 2. SO maybe it is in car belonging to certain batch. I regret buying this car.

Car is good but reverse gear doesn't engage most of the time. Almost all Tata cars have this problem, but Tata doesn't fix this issue. I have given my car to 2 different service centre authorized by Tata (Concorde motors, sifa motors) but they couldn't rectify it. Second comes the gear rod vibration which makes me feel embarrassed that why did I purchase this car. Overall its a good car but Tata need to work hard in gearbox section.

I would like to talk about the look and finish that the car has to offer, in terms of styling and concept Tiago surely feels different than the lot comparing in the Indian hatchback market. One look at the car and you will feel an urge to ride the vehicle only to be amazed by its engine and comfort later.
Tiago scores 10/10 according to me when it comes to the designing of the car from inside, features like theatrical dimming, damped glove box and rightly placed utility spaces make the time spent inside the car a little more worthwhile. The car comes packed with a superbly made Harman music info-tainment system which really has to offer a lot in terms of music playback quality and also phone usage features. The AC is great and works efficiently.
Well if my driving on road experience has to be counted in then you may term me as a noobie or a complete beginner in that case, with just a year and a half. What I have experienced in such a short span of time is that a car needs to offer a smooth engine and soft gear changing patterns, well after test driving the Tiago XZ petrol variant I was in a sudden state of awe. The cabin offered in this car is silent when the car is running and no type of engine noise come inside, I own the xz petrol (revotron) Tiago.
Tiago has excellent riding experience and the suspension both front and rear are bang spot on. The comfortable seats and ajustable driving and teering positions make this car more user friendly than the other cars offered in this segment.
The car has atleast a hundred different features and specifications altogether if all interior and exterior features are summed up, still the most interesting part about the vehicle has to be the aggressiveness with which it has been priced in the car market, starting from just 3.2 L (ESR).
I have been an owner for just three days now, but what I can tell you car enthusiast fellows is that if you are looking for true value for money and a vehicle which comes with a sense of uniqueness and a proud owner experience then you should take the leap of faith and go wih TATA motors this time.
This car neatly sweeps down its rivals with one stroke and that is great, although immense work has been done by Tata in giving out their best(yet) all I can complain about is the little vibration that comes out when it is started and then everything just settles down perfectly and you feel to revv hard the engine and let go of all your worries.
