      Exterior SUV kind of looks with good ground clearance of 180mm, which is very much required for Indian roads.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - Interiors are very cheap with low plastic quality, RXT being 4.44L on road could have been much better at that cost. 

      Infotainment is a good move but the system installed has a lag of 2 to 5 secs. No space to keep a 1 ltr bottel inside the cabin :|

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Enigne at the start has too much noise and vibration like a disel car, Pick up is good enough with out AC. If AC is switched on the power decreases drastically and car does not take the weight.

      Fuel Economy what renault promised is all fake 25 Km/L is just on papaers and we do not even get half of it. I am getting 9 Kms/L in city which is same as i20 or any other premium hatch backs. Think before you buy is all what I can suggest. I have already lost my money. :(

      Ride Quality & Handling Being a small hatchback its very handy and easy for city drives. Quality of drive is also good enough.

      Final Words If you are looking for Mileage then this is not the car. Its not worth a buy. If looks are your concern then you can give a try. Renault Kwid a failuer.

      Areas of improvement All arears except exterior has to be improved a lot. Renault Kwid a failuer.

      Good exterior which steals the entire show. Apart from Exteriors everything is cheap.Fuel economy, 9Kms/L, Bad infotainment system

      Hi Viewers/Kwid Fans/Car freaks/First Car buyers.

      Its been 7 days, 400KM I have been experiencing this beauty. This is my first four wheeler and really happy with it so far. I thought of sharing my overall experience right from the beginning till finalizing the vehicle, as this information would help the viewers who are very keen and interested to buy this vehicle and eagerly waiting for the user experience/reviews before taking a finally call. Im pretty sure this reviews will definitely be helpful..

      In all the reviews this Vehicle is being compared with Alto, Eon etc..but in terms of exterior appearance and looks Alto ,Eon will not be a comparison at all. Kwid Looks very elegant, bold and very big in size this is very much in par with Santro,i10, Beat, Celerio etc.

      Steering is very smooth and pleasure to drive. A/C is also pretty good.

      Digital Instrument cluster with Speedo Meter, Gear Change indication, Trip Meter, Total Fuel Burnt, Distance to empty ,Average Mileage indications etc

      Real Value for Money. I have gone for RXT Model.  single paise which I have spent towards it is worth enough…it is preloaded with everything which are really required in a car in today’s life.. 7” Touch screen system with FM/USB/AUX/Navigation/Bluetooth paring & Calling etc. all these features in very much affordable price.

      Massive boot space and ok sort of cabin space.

      Power is not so great but can be manageable.

      Currently im getting 13 KM/L  as per the Digital Instrument cluster  in city condition with A/C ON. Ill post you the Mileage once im done with my 1st and 2nd Service.

      1. Though the Engine Noise Level is pretty high. There is not much noise in the cabin

      Dealer Experience I have booked my vehicle in “SRI SRI SRI Renault Jubli Hills, Hyderabad  I have been interacting with Mr.Ranjith ( Sale Executive) and sometimes with SaiKiran (TL) from the Day one of the booking till the delivery of my Vehicle. I am really happy with my experience with them especially Ranjith. Each and every query of mine was addressed very politely and in a professional manner. I used to call Ranjith  very frequently and used to bother him asking for the updates  from my booking day till the delivery of my vehicle .never my call was ignored, at time even he was busy he used to give me a call back such great support I got from them. I am really delighted with the service and support.

      After Sale Dealer  Service Center Experience I have reached the Service Center on fourth day of my purchase for two issues..As soon I called to the service center Mr.Ratnakar (Service Manager) have patiently listened to my problems and arranged for an immediate Pickup of my vehicle for rectifying it. Though these issues are pretty minor but it was taken on priority without any ignorance

      Conclusion Friends in one word I can say it is a wonderful vehicle .IF you are looking for a four wheeler in Class-A or Class-B segments with a very stringent budget  you can blindly go for it.For a four wheeler what matters a lot is the Maintaince and after sale support. If we get such a great response & Service which I have got from SRI SRI SRI that’s more than enough you can happily enjoy without any troubles.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox ENGINE HAS PLASTIC OIL SUMP LEAKS AND ENGINE GETS SEIZED. REPAIR NO POSSIBLE ENGINE REPLACEMENT COSTS RS 70000. MY CAR IS IN WORKSHOP FROM LAST 3 MONTHS.

      Dear Sir,

      As per our conversation some minutes ago concerning with the replacement of the components of the vehicle KWID, in this connection, I would like to inform you that the components  demand raised by the Co tech aren’t serviceable, henceforth; the entire engine assembly has to be replaced according to the technical norms of the Renault Company. As the matter of fact, I have already forwarded you the message from the parts department of Renault in turn to have the clarification on this matter.

      We suggest you to have the replacement process of engine assembly executed on priority basis in order to have the experience of hassle free service from our Renault Service Centre.

      Kwid engine seize. Purchased Kwid top model DL8CAN5700 .8 month back, my car total runing 3000 km.while driving on main road the plastic Oil Chamber got leakage due to which engine got seize.

      The showroom is asking to pay INR 90,000 for repair the brand new car which is not acceptable.
      The local dealer is very uncooperative, it is really bad experience. Renault should not use such a cheap material for Oil Chamber.

      Kindly resolve the issue.

       I purchased a Kwid RXT on 4th March 2016 from Bhubaneswar dealership.

      On 19th april when i was driving, just after driving 4-5 km the coolant alarm displayed  and with in a minute  smoke started coming out of the bonnet , the air from the AC also started smelling . I parked the car on road side and registered the complaint with road side assistance at 7:40 PM with the complaint no.56767. They assistance team came at 11:30 pm.

      This is not the only issue that i am facing with this car, there is problem with Bluetooth connectivity ,there is issue with the paint (Colour is coming out of the body automatically near the front head lamp.)

      After checking the car the dealer replaced the faluty cooling Fan.

      I am worried about my car, if such issues are coming even before 1st servicing then there must be some manufacturing defect with this piece. Just replacing the fan is not a solution to such issue, its a safety issue.

      To reduce the price the manufacturer has compromised a lot with the quality and safety. There is no door open alarm, there is no seat belt alarm.

      If anyone is planning to buy a car then just say no to kwid.

      The first long drive of my KWID (RXT) from Sunder Nagar (HP) to Jammu (J&K) about 330km gave some amazing experiences from this small car of just 800CC with a weight of 600kg’s, worth sharing. I drove it at a speed of 90 km/hr in planes besides touching 60km/hr in curve roads on hills and still had an average of 24.42km/ltrs. Smooth drive, with an experience of highly responsive brakes, the suspension gives a sturdy feeling in curves even at a speed of 40-45km and in rough surfaces. Noise reduction in cabin gives an excellent performance of the Music System even with only two speakers. The Navigation system seems not to be fully updated but shows exact positioning of the car on the road. The only negative observation is creaking sound from brakes started appearing after a drive of about 200km’s.

      Final Words Overall it seems to be a more value for the price of this segment car. 😊.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox= While AC is on Engine lowers its performance, physically average is 14 KMPL on Highway and 11 or 12 in city.

       

      Ride Quality & Handling= i have taken delivary of Kwid RXT on 1st December , till date i have driven around 1500KMS. for that i have spend around RS.2500 or more petrol. You can fil relax in bumpy paths as well as on highway. From the very first day, whenever car bumps in to potholes, there is big noice like car is crashed secondly the from liners sound is that horrible that people can look around you for that such noise.

       

      Final Words= ONLY NICE LOOKING CAR, MARUTI CARS ARE BETTER THAN THESE CARS.,

       

      Areas of improvement = PLEASE GIVE DELIVARY AS COMMITED. WORK ON THE ENGINE SOUND. WORK ON THE AVERAGE AS YOU HAVE SAID IT WILL GIVE 25 KMPL.

       

       

      Good exterior, Nice AC, Nice Infotainment system, Nice Space,Bad Engine Sound, No Pickup In AC, No Average if AC is on..............

      Writing this review after driving for 167 kms.

      Exterior

      Very good.The USP of the car.

      A head turner for sure . 

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      Good interiors,but some things are missing such as passenger side's hand overhead support,non-retractable rear seatbelts. 

      Looks,comfort,nice media-nav system.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

      Pickup is good with 4-5 on board,haven't tried with AC on though.

      Fuel economy-15-17 in city without ac with 4-5 on board.

      Maximum is 16.9km/l in my one week of city driving.

      Ride Quality & Handling

      Light steering wheel makes it a pleasure to drive on city roads.

      Final Words

      Car worth buying for those who look for an entry level budget car.

      I considered alto as well.Almost bought it but now I am glad that I didn't. :)

      Areas of improvement  

      Boot space too large,could have given some leg space for rear passengers instead.

      No alarm siren system available in the central locking system in the car.

      Renault needs to increase their production rate as I received the car after 3.5 months waiting.

      In Aug 2016, I got a used Renault Kwid from a seller who had bought it in Nov 2015. Ever since I bough this 800cc car, I was facing the problem of Hard Clutch. My daily use is 15 kms only.  Now I am facing such a problem that I am not able to use the vehicle even for a 2km ride as a experience pain and unable to walk. Rather, I am scared to drive now.

      The company mechanics say that ‘some’ vehicles have such defects. In auto-assembly-line, there is no chance for ‘some’ vehicles having the problem. Every vehicle must be having the problem. We hear lots of complaints of clutch shuddering by Renault Duster buyers. Many have neither complained and some would not have realized that that is a problem. The smoothness of Clutch is so important that it is the main and the only devise that we use extensively while driving. In other words, clutch is the only thing that matters in the mechanics of the vehicle. I am clueless about handling the situation.

      Style is okNo value for money. When the clutch is a manufacturing mistake, even their own Mechnics can't help

      I had purchased a kwid a month before. 

      The performance is good at all. Engine at start has more noise than diesel car. (I have an ertiga whose engine sound is not heard when Kwid is on) Pick up is not so good when AC is on. 

      At times, the cooling fan is still on, even after switching off the engine and locking the car. This is strange. I never had this in any of the cars

      Next is the fuel economy. Renault gives false promise of 25 kmpl and cheat the people. For city ride it doesn't give even 10. 

      Another major failure is break. It is very hard and give noise when applying breaks. This is serious concern and a matter of safety issue. I think Renault should look into this very seriously   I am worried now that i have wasted money by buying KWID.    Think twice before going for KWID (Service dealers plays an important role. To that matter, Khivraj/Chennai is worste)  STYLE, EXTERIORSVERY BAD MILEAGE, BREAK SYSTEM

      Exterior Initially I like Exterior but after buying kwid the quality of paint is worst, bumper is very poor quality.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is ok ok type. Not up to the mark. Door plastic bad quality its very light.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine sound its feels like drove a auto.. Pick up is like a CNG car. Vibration on gear lever all the time.. in between 80-90 kmph car vibrate. When car AC is on car acceleration stop working.. Car stopped & loked still AC fan working.

      Ride Quality & Handling When u drive like 60-70 kmph & take a turn its leave road & feel like it will topple.

      Final Words If u planning to buy renault kwid pls dont buy its a waste of money suggest u buy another car. After sales service is also worst I have given my kwid 8 times to service center but most of the problem remains same.

      Too bad in fuel Economy, Pickup is worst like a CNG carVery less leg space. quality of interior is too Bad
