Final Words I had driven more than 1,50,000 kms and still my vehicle is doing good and it is value for your money.
Areas of improvement Vehicle is too good but when comes to servicing this service people do not handle the vehicles properly, actually improvement should be done to train the service staff to hadle the vehicle properly.
I had a very bad experience in my vehicl in the year 2011 when i was returning from Hyderabad, which i shall narrate in short.
Before going to hyderabad my vehicle was service at India Garage, near Victoria layout as we traveeled with family, we were very much annoied with behaviour of my vehicle but still we manage to reach hyderabd and all our work got over we spent two days and on sunday morning we headed back to bangalore at early morning 6.00 am, and my vehicle did not had regular pick up and we were not able to drive more than 40 km/hr and by evening 5.00 pm we reached Ananthpur with great difficult as it was sunday we could not find any machanices and atlast vehicle came to stop at ananthpur at the middle of the road, we tried to contact customer care and the service machanic but was no use as at last i found maruti service station and this people was ready to help with double the charges and we finally agreed, as they open cover mounted on the sterring wheel we were surprised to fing 24 and 20 sizes spanner bits left inside the cover after adjusting the stearing at the service center in India Garage and the vast part it was Clutch failure which was not noticed by any mechanic or quality people at India Garage and finally i had paid around 15,000/- and we drove to bangalore. Service was done at India garage three days before leaving to hyderabad and the bill was around 24,000/- + 15,000/- + our strain and pain my entire family had (Instead making improving the vehicle improve the working nature of your service people and trainee them properly).

Exterior The xterior of scorpy is good but it could be improved.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Regarding comfort nothing can be said, it is awesome. No other muv/suv can be compared. Space is good but it is completely my personal opinion that the refreshed sumo gold (which I purchased on 23 aug 2013) have a little bit of edge regarding space over scorpio. Features are good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As I am longdrive maniac and have droven allmost all vehicles in long drive I can easily come into this conclusion that the scorpy is the most reliable and comfortable and mosg trusted vehicle as I have ever come accross. The engine performance and and gear box is very very good. But to my aspect the mileage should be better. In city traffic I get 7.5/8 and in long max 9/9.5, with ac on. Though once I got 11 in a long drive in winter. And negetive point i mentioned earlier that the clutch tends to be hard. But overall I am a very very satisfied customer of my blackpanther 2007 crde LX turbo 2wd. It has already run 105000 odd km and i have no plan to sell it out, it is still just like a new wife.
Good style, awesome pick up, most comfortable for long drive, easy to handle in city traffic and mmileage should be improved and clutch tends to be harఎక్స్టీరియర్/స్టైల్స్

Ride Quality & Handling
Very poor response from Pradeep. He is the engineer looking after my vehicle at koncept mahindra Delhi. He has kept my vehicle for around 10 days but the problem is as it is and now ko crept is not even entertaining calls from my side. They have started saying that I need to take the vehicle from their kohl a workshop to somewhere near saritavihar which is a new one. Great attitude from the company like mahindra. This is my second Scorpio in a row and now I have decide to switch my loyalty.

Areas of improvement I think they need to come out of the shell of being the best as that has killed their skills of working at the ground level
I just liked the shape of this vehicleEverything apart from shape. Arrogance in staff of dealership, poor performance of vehicle .

I purchased an automatic in 2009. This is my second scorpio, the earlier one was a manual transmission which gave me 1,60,000 wonderful Kms.
The Automatic is a nightmare...after 14,000, I had regular complaints of jerky gear shifts at adhoc rpms. Each time the service station would set something with a laptop without charging me anything.
The car has only been to Authorized service stations for servicing. Every 2500 km till 10,000 km, Every 5,000 Km till 30,000, and Every 10,000km till now which is Just 60,000.
Today, at 60,000 the car has packed up. The transmission refuses to shift gears. The car starts and that's it... it does not matter if its in P,N,D,R. Its stationary.
I can only assume that the company sold me a defective transmission and was buying time through every service to get it out of the warranty period.
Now, The service station says that it would look into the problem, but till then they would like to inform that at every 60,000 km, an automatic transmission requires flushing that is for....please take a seat. Whooping 40,000 to 50,000 RS.
I have been in touch with "Mahendra with you hamesha'. Which they are not. They are with the privately run service station hamesha. Its just a call center with people not aware of cars and dependent on the service station on whatever 'technical' jargon they dish out. Where is the company in this and whats its responsibility after the car leaves the factory is totally an unknown?
The scorpio is supposed to be an off roader. My self driven scorpio is a city car. The only off roading its done is climbing delhis flyovers and dropping into delhis pot holes. An AtoB office drive is all the poor things ever done.
Its been Two weeks now that my car is parked in the service station without parts.
Please dont waste your money buying the Automatic. Its cheap engineering.

Ride Quality & Handling Good suspension, You can use it rough as i use take it to the village's where there are no roads.
Final Words Would reccomend it to others and would love it to buy again new one.
Areas of improvement The only concern people wold have is its avg. but it didnt matter when you are going it to drive for lacs of KM safety matters not avg.
I am having SCORPIO VLX MHawk Engine.
Good for Indian Roads. You cant compare this car to Ertiga or Mobilo or Lodgy
I purchased this car as per my use as I need to drive a lot and that also in different city my yearly running got to round about 50,000 Km Plus.
Its a heavy car with good quality of material it gets good grip on highways while driving at 120 Km/h it seems to be very smooth dont tahe dis-advantage of its power as my driver drives at 150 km/h.
Would at last say go for it Good luck and have a Safe Journey.
