Exterior Very good, compact car. Good polish and paint quality. No accessories available.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space good for front two seats, should have given a provision to remove rear seats and have more leg space in between.
AC is powerful, but not @ noon time @ 40 degrees. have to keep fan spped high and then it is noisy, plastic finish could be better, no dashboard space.there are no accessories available in the market. All the gizomos availabe in dealership are twice expensive than outside market
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Verygood performance, gear shift problem from 5th to 4th, feels as if you are working on a manual synch gear box, else great car.

Areas of improvement Dealerships ! worst dealers in Pune, feel like telco dealars are better !! Quanto is bought by a different class of people but Mahndra has a serios job to educate the sales people. very poor service atitude ! no class. Exterior Spare wheel on rear door looks nice, the cover is neat. Looks 0.8 Xylo.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Driver seat is very comfortable and very well eargonomically designed. You are in complte control with tall & broad vision, comfortable sit, arm rest and right elbo resting on the door. Rear viewing is very good with all three mirrors sufficiently broad and well placed.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Specifically i took the test drive to evaluate Gear Shift comfort. Its much better than Scorpio though not as smooth as XUV. Gear throw is smooth, the lever does not vibrate much. engine is little noisy but Mahindras have provided nice music system with all USB and AUX connections. Engine is responsive and pick-up is enough for city driving conditions. Cant comment on fuel efficiency. Thankfully clutch is not light, required in city driving.
Ride Quality & Handling Cetainly body roll is present.
Final Words Perfect multi purpose car; City driving + Weekend + Indian Family + VFM.

I m owning a mahindra quonto from jan 2013. The car is not cooling. Ac vent is not of use. This car ac can be used only in winter because in every climatic condition it only heats up.
[The car is giving mileage of not more than 10 kmpl but cmpany promised 17.2 kmpl. The car spares r making noise in just 10 month god knows what will happen further. Instead u should by a tractor instead of quonto because that will be your moneyvalue. [ U SHOULD 1ST TEST DRIVE FOR 2 OR 4 HOURS OF YOUR FRIENDS SO THAT U WILL EXPERIANCE MY WORDS ON YOUR OWN]. Bying this car is worthless the paint of this car is being decayed up in 10 month so I not need more thing u shud understand on your own if exterior is not good what will be he quality of interior. Exterior Exterior of this car is quite attractive, particularly when you see from the back side of the vehicle, however the fitting of extra wheel is poor but it looking very nice, head lamps are good,front grill is also good giving a very smooth look ORVM are not as per status of top end, body colour in white is also not good giving a taxi look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Driver and co driver seats are comfortable, rest of the vehicle is only on the basis of indian "Jugaad" which is totally uncomfortable, headrest of middle row may anytime give you backache so don't try, dash board is good but speedometre is very poor as usual or the other mahindra vehicle the company may go for other design and colour like yeti, duster but they used the same technology as in the xylo so that is not giving proper look however the colour of stereo lights and AC knob is soothing and giving good orange look, air pressure of AC vent is also not sufficient to give air to third row, second row person may accomodate in this season but in hot 45 degree how the AC will work that is to be tested in future. No arm rest given in the second row so when two people travelling with chauffer they must feel uncomfortable, I am wonder that why the mohindra people are not taking feed back from the existing customers or in general.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1497 cc powerful engine giving good output so a fine response is coming in slow driving and pick up is also quite comfortable but the 3 cyllinder engine is doubtful for long performance in future hence the company restricted its warranty up to 50000 km or two year in comparision to 3 year or 1 lac km to play safely. Gear box is quite comfortable for a SUV but company can do better for it that may be much smooth and handy. Last but not least the fuel economy of the vehicle which will always be doubt ful as it can't go beyond 12 in the city condition and 15kmpl in the highway as it has the maiden body weight of 1650 plus passenger and luggage, the company claim 17+ which may true in standard conditions when the vehicle is empty and not having full load of passengers and luggage.
Ride Quality & Handling Suspension of vehicle is quite good but as the vehicle is less then 4000mm in length so it can't go as luxry sedan car, people are comparing to this with sedan that is not fair but overall it is a good combination.
Final Words It is a good vehicle in such price for those who compromise with the comfort of other co-passengers.
Areas of improvement Middle seat may readjusted the engineers of the company may chek it out if they just give 2 to 3 in ch bend with some good upwholestry in the seat, the same seat may comfortable they may also chek the headrest which are totally uncomfortable, air pressure of AC vent, if they can not exceed air pressure then the company may provide seperate a.c. vent for rear passengers this will definately problematic in hot wheather, according to a small vehiche in SUV category the gear live looks odd it may be replace with a small lever with a good looking mahindra logo knob with a console on the same area like in "evalia" of Nissan Motor, engineer must think about the design of speedometre and looks lights it can be improve with a small adjustments. The white colour vehicle look like off white so the milky white colour look better and give a seperate look from the other one xylo.

I bought Quanto C8 in Oct. 2012 and it went well in eary 2-3 months but as if when i have driven 23000 driven, i can say that i am NOT satisfied with Mahindra Quanto C8. One of my Tyres of Bridge stone has plumped out froma side, engine is making lot of vibration. Bush uder radiater have worned out and service centers don't have it as spare. Mechanics are not trained and most of the service centers are doing service of all the Mahindra vehicles under one shed. Supervisor Sharma in Roorkee center trys to fool the customers. On my 3rd service when i left the my vehicle for one day, my pendrive and jack rod got stolen. What ever compaints they have addressed, they reoccured after some time.
Interiors are Very noisy inside, seats and dash board make noise. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine vibrations are very high. Ride Quality & Handling: Cluch is so tight that i gets paining in left leg even agter small journey. Final Words: NOT Satisfied with its performance. Areas of improvement Clutch, engine vibrations.

The car has some basic problems, U need to get your AC Filter choked in every 40-45 days, So in Summers its a challenge. Winters, Hot Air starts after driving of 8- 10 KM,(by the time you reach office), ABS Indicator Remains ON, Noisy Car, Irritating Noises from eithers Door, or Seats or Shocker will keep on troubling. One need to bear atleast one noise at a time.

Not worth Buying as Family vehicle.

Basic Design needs to be rechecked , Major Flaws in , AC, Blower, Noise ,ABS, May be they need to work on Quality Issues. Its beautiful Ride on Non Bumpy, Smell Free, NON (AC/Blower), With all features malfunctioning one by one, Just some carefullness would have made this a beautiful car. Any hows, Thats upto M&M to decide I bought it i regret it.

I purchased my SUV on 28th December 2014 and have driven almost 11000 km purchased it for 8 lacks as i got a discount of 1 lack bcoz of year end discount. Absolutely no issues. I really dont understand what people want in this budget. I reasearched on this SUV for 1 year then took it. I also called the people who were selling their quanto on carwale and other websites.
People should understand its not a car its a SUV so dont expect pickup like a car or handeling. Only people who want to buy a budget SUV and like to drive a SUV buy it.

Exterior Good looks and apearance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Feature loaded , lot of space and confort. No one is tired after 500 KM . Plains or Hills kaccha or Pakka road or no road - it takes me smooth.. Loaded with features and so easy and confortable drive . Love it after 72000 KM.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Enigne is powerful and stong on highways and Hills as well,but dies at low rpm unless shiftt to 1st gear on mud roads going uphill and its rainy.

Exterior Good but need to have a different look than Xylo. Especially front side. It looks like a MUV & not a SUV.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Int are same as Xylo. Should be more premium. Front seats armrest quality is poor. Otherwise OK. Some of the features like snacks tray, bottle holders, two row of lamps are good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Overall good. Does not feel exhausted.
Ride Quality & Handling Good. Good height, which gives good road visibility. Some amount of body roll.
Final Words Good buy except the a/c. The a/c is practically absent. It does not cool at all. The air does not even reach 2nd row. Third row feels suffocated. M&M must work on these aspects. Otherwise a very practical car in the given price. Mahindra could think on increasing the third row space by taking the spare wheel off the rear door and still maintain the length below 4m.
Areas of improvement A/c must be improved. Also work on exterior front looks & third row seats / space.

engine performs nice. smooth ride at 110-120kmph.more than expected from 3 cyl car.

gearbox jerks on 3 rd gear. this problem is consistent after 10000km drive also. have to adjust with driving style.

service part. must satisfy customers(at least during warrenty) to ensure further sales. Otherwise it would be a fiasco. Mechanical part is Good enough but electronics malfunctioning in not tolerable. It wont let the engine to start.
It took 20 days in resolving the problem and still in workshop.
Hope things would be improved to the earliest and want make me a sufferer from first car.
