Exterior

 It looks boxy but the style grows on you and quite appreciate the looks of this car. Good quality materials. The new 2013 model looks much better and gives bit mature look than 2008-09 models.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Good plastic quality, Seats are nice but the material doesn't seem premium even on top line Vxi-ABS. I am using seat cover to protect the seats anyways. Good storage spaces. Front seat comfort is goo but back seat space is amazing. amount of leg room needs to be experience. It is more than swift for sure. 2400mm wheel base makes sure on this comfort factor.

Music system though average do the daily job. AC chills nicely.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 This is one the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT with the car. I am a new driver so didn't go for test drive as was scared might damage the test car, so bought it plainly as few friends had given good review with lazy pick up. It is a gem of a car but driven in summers in city traffic of delhi was horrible and was sweating all along. As if i switch on the AC car pick up is dead and moves very lazily. so have to switch it on when it is moving comfortably or at stops and turn it off as soon as i have to start moving again. Believe me it is quite a pain.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality is OK, i don't expect a COROLLA when i pay 1/4th the price. So, it takes pot holes and bad roads positively, some of it filters through to you inside but largely ok.

Final Words

 As i said it is a GEM of a car wihich is veryyy difficult to drive on a hot sunny day with traffic around. If you are looking for budget buy, please go ahead the pros outweigh the cons by a margin. You would love the feel of steering and driving this car.

 ONLY PICK UP with AC ON, LUGGAGE SPACE(if possible in next editions)

 I have purchase a Wagon R VXI In October 2012 and after drving I felt it is upto my expectation and found  that every thing is OK but so far the Music system in Wagon R VXI is concerned, sound is good. But the music system as used is a bastard system. We are living in 21st cntury and we are using a music system where DVD player can not be used and also Pen Drive port is not there.  MP 3 system is an out dated concept now and Maruti is still using the old fasinon.  I am fully dissatisfied with the music system in new Wagon R VXI. Besides this the lever used to open back side dicky is not upto the mark. After using 3-4 times, the lever is not working and the work shop has  repaired it two times but the same problem is continuing as it is.

However, it is a very comfortable vehicle although the front exterior look is not so good in compare to other brand of vehicles. The look of left, right and back side have been improved much and it is OK now. I have driven my freind's car Cheverlet Beat LT Petrol but Wagon R VXI is better than that one although there is a differences of CC.

Comfortable and Good fuel economyBastard music system

Exterior Exterior is very good and in look is bigger than earlier version.  Its light and front is charming.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior Features, Space & Comfort Good but seems not durable and seat quality is compromised.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Godd but have to compromise on CNG at the time of pick up and fuel efficency not not good with AC.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortabel is driving and seating.  Gettin in and coming out from the Car is very comfortable.

Final Words Purchaing this car is value for money, But as compared to old version, chessis and paint quality is not so good.  My decision to purchase ths Wagon R for second time is its comfortability.

Areas of improvement Chesis and Paint Quality, Fuel Efficiency with AC. If you stand by side of door, it goes in. Paint is affected very easily. CNG cylender occupy big space and boot space is very much reduced.

ComfortBody (Chasis) and Paint Quality

Exterior Nice look though boxy, but cool.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Vxi model is having sufficient features as required in Mordern car. Space is best in class for family of 2+2. AC is nice & comfortable. Boot space is somehow less. Overall best packages in small investment.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1 L Engine is showing good performance. I have reached max. speed upto 120 Km, still steering is found stable. Fuel economy is yet to calculated, but expected between 16 to 20 km/L. Gear box is 5 speed and 5th gear performance is owesome. However small sound is observed during reverse gear shift.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is mind blowing. Handling is very smooth. Front view from driver seat is commanding.

Final Words Best economical car for 2+2 size family without compromising riding comfort, space & interior.

Areas of improvement  Boot space, reverse gear sound.

This is my first post on any forums to give my view on Wagon R CNG.

I purchased this vehicle on 31st March 2014. 

I have done 6K and completed 2 services. both servicing cost my only Rs. 425. 

1st Service : Rs. 350 A/C fillter added.

2nd Service : Rs. 75 Dashboard polish.

Exterior

 It is nice view to watch the car. Gives feel of big car due to height. Great visibility except the A bar. A bar is really a pain. to my height i'm not able to see in 60 Degree to my right. I need to adjust by moving back or move front to see the right corner. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Overall Average. Comfort is OK. No boot space is really a pain. Have to put your luggage on parcel tray or fold your rear seat.  

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 While running on CNG i'm getting 24Km/KG in city riding condition with 50% A/C ON and on Highway 30KM/KG with 50% A/C ON. Average run with 2 people.

Pickup is not that good while running on CNG compared  to petrol mode. less responsive throttle overall compared to Swift/Ritz even with Alto 800. Engine wroms but car is still there!!!!

A/C is average. Gearbox is now much better than the previous version. 

Stearing is very light after 80Km/Hr. Due to small wheels taking turn with little speed say 50KM/Hr gives scary feel. 

sometimes, when taking reverse some sound (Kaaarrrraaaa..) used to come even when full clush clutch is applied.

Ride Quality & Handling

Suspension is little hard. Overall OK.

 Good fuel efficiency, Good City drivable car.

Fuel EconomyPickup

Exterior Exterior Styling is good for a city a car. Front facia looks really good with new headlamps, fog lamps and front and back chrome grill.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It has everything that a budget city car should have. It has all 4 power windows, power steering,fog lamps, rear and front adjustable head rests, rear wiper, rear defogger, in built music system, dual storage space in the front dashboard. You name it and it has those features. Real value for money.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite peppy and responsive. Gear shifting is also smooth. You can expect min 15 KM/LT with full AC in City traffic which I think is good. 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good. It has a good visibility from the driver seat. It is very good specially for the people who had learnt driving recently. Only thing is it has a tendency of body roll while driving in greater speeds which I think can be minimized by introduction of wider tyres and more body width which should support its dynamics at higher speeds.

Final Words A complete family car for a small family for city commute and daily office usage. Difficult to find such an option with so many features at this price in the market. Another advantage is as it is a product from Maruti, you can be rest assured of its service, spares and reselling aspects. 

Areas of improvement Quality of plastics, music system can be improved. Introduction of wider tyres to prevent body roll at higher speeds.

Exterior New Wagon R look is good than old versions, Roof top quality is not up to the mark(while its rainig u will hear more sound in car ), Good in styling.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are same as of other cars, Interior space is good enough, Leg space is good. Even in top end some of the options are missing like ( their is no indication of avergae fuel milegae,  where you found this option in hyundai i 10 top end version), no reverse parking sensors( all top end versions are faciliated with reverse parking sensors)Plastic quality is not up to the mark, Intrerior design to be improved as it doest givesa a class look, Boot space is quite less. their is no seat belt warning sound, Their is exact space at back for sitting 3 persons if widht is incresed then it will be some what free,for 3 stout persons it is difficult to sit comfortablly at back seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good, smooth driving, . average milaeage on high ways with ac at 80 km/h is 17 km/ Ltr and in city 14 Km/Ltr. Slightly Sluggish in riverse and 1st gear,  on high way I maintianed rpm 2500 ( 77 kmp/h ) with ac and I got mileage of 17.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is excellent, I learnt driving adter purchasing new wagnor r, and I learnt driving with in 3 days , you can make out good clearances while you are driving, Suspension area to be improved, but when fully loaded ( 5 persons ) pick up is very less, handling is excellent, with in a short radius you can take round. Power steering is excellent.With AC pick up is less.

Final Words One of the best family budjet car.  Good for learners. Value for money.

Areas of improvement Interior design, Roof top quality, pick up,width to be increased so that in back seat 3 persons can sit comfotablly.

FUELECONOMY IS ABOUT 13-14KMPL IN CITY (KOLKATA, INDIA) AND AT HIGHWAY IT IS GIVING AROUND 19-21KMPL (MY CAR IS JUST 7 MONTHS OLD AND I HAD NOT TRIED IT IN THE HIGHWAY BUT MY ELDER BROTHER OWNS THE SAME CAR WITH IDENTICAL TO MY EXCEPT THE COLOR WHICH NEARLY A YEAR OLD, HE TOLD THAT IT IS HIM AROUND 20 IN HIGHWAY.)

3. BEST CRUISING SPEED IS AROUND 80-110 KMPL ( HERE YOU CAN EXTRACT THE MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE OUT OF IT)

4. TURNING RADIUS IS SMALL THUS HELPS ME TO PARK AT MY PLACE TO BE HONEST THE GARAGE SPACE FOR MY WAGONR IS VERY SMALL AND TIGHT, THUS IT HELPS ME A LOT.

5. IT CAN HANDLE THE BROKEN ROAD AND PUDDLES WITH EASE...

Final Words

I LOVE MY CAR SINCE IT IS MY FIRST CAR... IT HAD ALSO STRONG SOLID STRUCTURE AND CHASIS.

Areas of improvement FIT AND FINISH OF THE CAR, CHEAP PLASTIC USED INSIDE THE CABIN, MILEAGE.

I would like to thanks to maruti Suzuki team for making the awesome hatch back wagon r.my WAGON R gives 32 km/kg for CNG.its best class mileage in 1.0 L engine.it looks also pretty good. it gets best in class room space and it's performance is also impressive.its maintenance cost is negligible.the main thing is it's mileage,32 km per kg in CNG MODE.it is in company fitted CNG mode only.
