Exterior Good yanky, stylish fog lamps & head lamps, good tail lamps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Two tone colour , good space for rear & front perons. Comfortable seating on rear seats. 3 spoke handle is easy to ride & power windows help easy opening & closing.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance good, good fuel econmoy in hills & city roads, engine is little noisy, but ok as it doesnot feel from inside much.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth, easy & comforable, in highways 120km speeds car remains stable, good braking system, turning radius is good & smooth. cluth is smooth, driver enjoy to drive the same. ground clearance is good.

Areas of improvement Gear shift area is less, some time a bag, kids foot disterb gear changing, as spce is less. due to less power gear change is required frequently in city roads. in dump roads its whole body oscillates.

I am planning to buy a car and have budget of 3.5 to 4.5 lacs. I am looking for a car primarily for a couple (occasionally 2-3 guests) which have good fuel efficiency, value for money, low maintance and good resale value. My usage is around 600-700 km a month. I am short listed Santro, Zen Estilo, i10 and Swift.
However, after going through the test drive, I found estilo to be very comfortable and in control. Please suggest me the best option.

Got the new Estilo Vxi from kallyani Motors Bangalore.
Initilly booked the car with Pratham Bangalore and they promised to deliver the car in 1 month. After 1.2 Months, Pratham executive called me and said its not possible to deliver the vehicle forl 3 more months. I was disappointed. Than I booked my vxi Dusky color vehicle with kallyani which they delievered in 10 days promptly. Delivery process was smooth. I did not got any discount on the car. Total on road costed me 4.36Lakhs including2nd and 3rd year waranty. I got the car sharp at 3:30Pm on satureday 7th Nov 09. They arranged a driver to drop the vehilce till my home which is 27km from showroom.
As of now I drove 40km in 3 days and found vehicle is really vary good. A/C is effective and did not find any noise when AC was on. Pickup of the vehicle vary good. As of now I am feeling gearshoft is bit hard need to check with dealer for this.
Rear seat is good for 3 people if they are not heavy weight. otherwise its conjected for tall and heavy people.
Totaly it a vary good vehicle specially dusky brown looks vary good.
I will keep updated as I moove on.

Should have been more executive , back view should look like a car, now it looks like a utility vehicle. Back door and guard is pressed inside and looks ugly. Should have been at a slope of 15 degree from top without any bumps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Back seat hight is little extra,uncomfortable for tall people. Boot space is uperb. i have pet of German shepherd bread and he travels with our family whenver we go on long tour without discomfort to him as well as to my family members. i had a Sedan earlier and it was very discomfort to both my pet and my family. Now we travel with our pet for more than 200 kms in a stretch without any hicups.

Though i tried a test a bit late, following are the observations.
It is a fairly good car. All depends what I look for. I think it is the car for the people who travel in great number extensily. It is more for upwardly mobile urban families.
The car looks very lightly built. But for the kerb weight the engine is really powerful. Driver's seat position is no non-sense.
Interiors are at the best. AC is very powerful. Rear seat is a problem not of the car but of the segment barring Indica. But boot is much better that even some of the B segment car.
And with Maruti name behind it is deinitely VFM.
Trendy looks, a good load of features, niec interiorsspace issues, lack of safe feel

Exterior A trendy car with good looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The seats are very stiff, gives a back pain during long drives
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good for a car of this class, however this is not a pure driver's car like Swift.
Ride Quality & Handling Stiff ride at low speeds, shocks from potholes gets transferred in cabin. However on a smooth highway the very stiff suspension comes handy at speeds above 60 kmph. The tall boy design hampers high speed stability, at speeds exceeding 100 kmph, a sudden gust of wind can shake the car badly and make it unstable. However the car has an excellent torque and this makes it an ideal car for mountain driving. I drove the car all the way upto Gangotri in Sept 2009 at 10,000 feet and the car handled the hairpin bends very well.
Final Words An overall good VFM buy for a family of 4.
Areas of improvement Seats- extremely bad! Maruti should also provide a seat height adjuster for short drivers.

My Zen Estilo has done a little more than 7000 kms since july, 2007 - most of them were in the city
Fuel efficiency - 17 km/ltr - without A/C, 13 km/ltr with A/C.
A/C is effective. I like the looks.
The power steering is really smooth.
That can hardly be said about the gear box - not up to the mark at all. First gear could have been better. There is drag from 2nd to 3rd, but the car picks up after 2800 rpm. 4th is good and 5th is smooth. But the gear shift movement from 4th to 5th is ridiculously designed. Reverse gear sticks on me sometimes. I've achieved a top speed of 115 - and I felt the car still had more to give. Braking is good - the discs help. The pickup could have been better. I cant understand why Maruti would cut corners on something like the gearbox - extremely myopic and immature of them!!!
The car is an optimistic 5 seater and a realistic 4 seater. Boot space is good for a small car. The height of the car makes it easy to enter and exit.
All in all, a good first car - and i'd like to graduate to something bigger and better soon.

Exterior More stylish,thrilling but no change can be seen on the back side compared to old estilo.extremely better than the old estilo and new wagon r.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Well spacious,very good comfort,abs were not given in the normal vxi was dissapointing. More storage space could be given.
Engine Performance & Fuel Economy Fuel Economy is much better, Fuel Economy is so nice and Gearbox not much better,you are saying that it had good gear shifting but reverse gear had some trouble,it's gonna stuck,some owners told me that old estilo had same problem,but expected more power from the new k series engine.
Ride Quality Almost perfect & excellent and super handling.revers sensor could be added as a feature.easy and comfort driving is offered.
Final Words Totally it's a nice car for a five membered family, since we made it sporty, music player could be given with vxi model. surely i will recommend others to buy this car.
Areas of improvement Fuel efficiency is good, style(interior & exterior), great exterior style, space provided is much better. Front bumper, fog lamp.power window and wing mirror is excellent, easy control.
