Exterior A very macho and sporty looking hatchback for youngsters, I would say that it is a good combination of Hatchback and SUV looks with very powerful Fog lights and roof rails I was head over heels at the very first glance.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Outstanding interior console with blue neon lights at night.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Soundless and vibrationless engine, I took the self starter thrice even when the car was on as I couldn't feel slightest of vibration.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is good ,just keeping a bit better margin on both sides while driving is important as the car is a bit broader than others in same segment.

 

Final Words Must go car in this price segment and very comfortable car for family. Music system is cool, all facilities of a sedan luxury cars like climate control, glares holder, adjustable steering, I am loving it!!

 

Areas of improvement Better Boot space , rear suspension can be improved,better and more colors of choice.

Exterior Great sporty front look. The radical styling of lights new Gen Grill with sexy Bold Logo of Chevy makes it look bigger and Gen Next car.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Sporty speedometer with cool ice blue illuminated back light. which so pleasent in night drives, with LCD Tachometer. Good Kenwood inbuilt Audio systems with awesome ouput (But need to replace with better speakers for grt perfomace). more bottle n cane space.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Say no to Noise and vibrations ...!!!! It gave more than 20 Km / ltr on high ways, and 15 in city, very good suspenssion. Smooth gearbox.

 

Ride Quality & Handling The best part is tilt stearing which makes u very comfortable on city rides as well long rides.

 

Final Words Super Sexy Car. The Best in Hatchback!!! Good at fuel efficiency. A great car for younger gen where time is money and u need to each fast and safe, Its a beauty the one of rides it will be a sure beast.

 

Areas of improvement Need more boot space and need to replace good speakers.

Exterior Styling is good & sporty .Designed for younger generation.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space in the front comfortable.Space at rear seems to be congested with limited view.The rear windows give limited view.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is satisfactory.Absoolutely silent engine during idling but little noisy when running. Pick up seems to be low but it might have relation with fuel economy.Not yet tested fuel economy with & without AC.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Riding comfort is satisfactory .However,reversing vehicle difficult due to limited view at rear. The instrument cluster view not good .Needs to redesign instrument cluster with better visibility.

 

Final Words I have driven only 150 Kms so far . Initially the vehicle seems to deliver value for money. Only time will tell how the machine performs in long run & the quality of service not experienced yet .So no comments on service quality yet.

 

Areas of improvement Better rear view for ease of handling specially while reversing the vehicle & more boot space.

Exterior DESIGN IS EXCELLENT.HOWEVER MUD FLAP FOR FRONT WHEELS NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED SINCE IT SPRAYS ON TO THE BODY WITH A SLIGHT TURN OF THE STEERING.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) INTERIORS ARE IN GOOD TASTE.The rear seat belts are an improvement. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox :ENGINE PERFORMANCE IS ONLY AFTER 10000KM. Milage is not up to the claim made by the company.

 

Ride Quality & Handling:Handling is superior but interior vibration on bad roads is more when compared to certain small cars.hOWEVER ON GOOD ROADS AND IN TOP GEAR NOTHING IS BETTER THAN THE BEAT.ENGINE NOISE IS LESS.

 

Final Words Viewing on sharp turns and hair pin bends is difficult because of wide windshield frame,and the same is in the line of sight of the driver. Spares are expensive despite being manufactured in india. Over rating is a 4 star.

 

Areas of improvement Fuel economy must be improved.Windows may be made larger for better safely viewing on sharp turns ,intersections etc.

 

Style,air conditioning,less boot space. view from inside is limited from driving safety point .

 

Exterior The front grill is like a lion crawling and the best color is the Black .... it is just out of the world.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Extremely phenominal. The top end version is the best that has the piano finish blue colored interiors with built in music system and auto ac with amazing comfort.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very smooth and nice engine performance.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Very good both in the city and on the highway.

 

Final Words This is the best in class hatch back and no one can beat the beat as far as comparison of price and perfection is concerned. It is just the compact dynamite. I have this car for about 9 months now and believe me it is the best is what everyone who has driven my car has said. This and cruze are chevrolet's best cars and I think Beat is 10 times better than Wagon R, Zen estilo, i 10, santro, figo, micra, etc... and it is the cheapest in its segment.

 

Areas of improvement Mileage can be improved to 18.

 

Excellent interiors and superb road grip and very smooth drivemileage can be improved from 15 to 18

 

Exterior Exterior looks are very excellent specially front & side views of car.If you look this car from front it looks like a sedan segment car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dashboard is spacious and at a great height.comfort while driving for tall people is nice.leg space for front seats is much enough.you dont get tired while driving.features are excellent.i also advice to get music system company fitted only, its worth.overall very good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Enginer performance is excellent.it doesnt make noise while driving on highways at high speed also,due to its weight it has good grip on road.mileage is the one concern.it doesnt reach the figures which company has stated.i am getting mileage in between 13 to 16.

Final Words Overall a good car.its worth having it.not advisable for people who travels lot with family & carry huge luggage.

First thing first beat is the new generation car its nt for those uncle n aunty types who wont really like the styling

Exterior They are amazing, its something u always want in ur car, when u drive a beat ull see many heads turning to catch a glimpse of ur car which obviously will make any driver proud. Chevvy have worked soo well on styling this car. car looks smashing from the front as well as from the back . The only thing of concern is the high bonnet cuz of which many people will initially find this car difficult to drive and if ur short then due to lack of seat adjustment its very difficult to judge hence most beats ull c scratched on the sides while parking 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It's totally plastic but u can see the quality of plastics which they have used it feels nice rich unlike i10 or vista. Seats are quite comfy. Front boot space it quite good  only thing of concern is the rear boot space its really not meant for tall people. the rear however has lot of space i was surprised at the delivery when i saw how deep it is.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox To be very frank its nt one of the most powerful engines of the lot but still it serves ur purpose. the best part i find is the stearing it feels solid n at the same time its sensitive too so car moves very swiftly on those narrow curves currently im getting the mileage of arond 12 in cities but it might increase after first servicing as company claims it to be one of the most fuel efficient cars. The only thing to worry is the cars pick up in 1st gear it really lacks the punch n u feel as if ur dragging the car, similarly on higher gears car starts loosing power, if u come across a hill then u really have to push some gas in to climb that

Ride Quality & Handling This is one of the best part, they have worked so nicely on the suspension that it gives u an amazing riding experience.

Final Words If ur looking for value for money then ill say definately go for this car, ull never regret. but if ur short n if u dont have seating arrangement in ur car then think 10 times before buying in a cost of 4.5 lacks i think u cant get anything better than this :).

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors and features are good good, not very good as it is not a that expensive car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I am not a very good driver, but although I would like to tell you that - I took the delivery of my  car on a day before dhanteres, I am so found of cars , owning a car was like a dream for me, my monthly income is average and as it is I have got my family to take care of, so I wanted to avoid petrol cars, My main purpose to buy a car was for outing purpose becoz I commute to office by Delhi Metro, So I was looking out for economy car, I was ready to compromise at functionally, And my first trip was from Delhi to Maratha, And I frankly tell you that the performance of the car was quite good at highway, I may add that handling, power, top speed was perfect at highway, mileage was awesome, even I am not a expert driver, I easily took it on 125- 130 speed with control on the car, petrol cars who started with me were far back, with this car I overtake hundreds of SUVs and CARs, On the high way its performance was very good, Some time when ac on and all 4+ (My Mom - dad, wife and two small kids, 4 month and 2 year old) power was slightly lacking on first and second gear on slopes. may be I because of that I am not a expert driver. THe car could have gone to a better speed, but I didnot do so because all my family and dreams was inside the car, on the safer side, I took deasel of 1050 rs while starting from delhi, I drove for around 390 km on highways with a speed of 125 and 10 also because around the jamuna at vrindavan the road condition was worst, ya you can say It may be rough driving, It is just a delivered not even first servecing with 70 percent of time AC on point 2, for around 390 km it consumed 750 rs of diesel, this really makes me smile because I was afraid for the milage before buying the car there was rumers in the market that this will not give good milage, I can say that " EK CAR ME EK MERE JAISE COMMON PERSON KO ISSE JYADA KUCH NAHI CHAIYE".

Final Words Common person like us can fulfill their dream with this car , nothing is lacking as per my experience, only don't compare this with verna and other cars by the range of 10 lacks, good for students, ladies, small family, for me this is a perfect family car, I would like to keep it for ever, since this is my first car, There is some problem with the dealer and service people, this is what the reason why GM has to face back.

Areas of improvement Dealers/service has to improve their timings and performance, Starting power - ( this is my personal view by not an expert driver point of view or may be this is because this is diesel car.).

Good Fuel Economy, Good Style, Diesel Engine, Milage, Comfort at Driving SeatEvery thing is good, as diesel engines are slightly noisy, lacking starting pickup

 

Exterior Exterior design tastes really differ from person to person. I found the curvey bonnet and high rear design exciting. Rear door handles are aesthetically placed, and add to the streamlined look of the vehicle.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Chevy are overdone themselves here. Even with the PS version, you get great seats, an awesome dashboard (even though steering wheel does not have the flashy silver thingies that you get in LS/LT versions). Front passenger has probably the best leg space in the small car segment. Both my wife and I are taller than average and we really appreciate the leg space up-front.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Just drove the car from TN to bangalore and the Beat drove great! Fuel consumption was consistent at 23 kmpl on the highway. It warmed my heart to see half the tank left after more than a 450 Kms drive! It is true that GM has refined a lot of features, including the gearbox. The engine is a lot quieter and the A/C is much, much more powerful than the Spark. The A/C probably deserves another mention here - even on the lowest setting, it was effective enough to cool the car within 30 seconds or so (it was about 36 degrees outside).

Ride Quality & Handling My previous vehicle was a Spark, and I can feel a lot of difference. Steering is a lot smoother, gears shift easily and noiselessly. Suspension is great, the car rides easy over pot-holed roads. The Beat does lack raw power though, making it difficult to overtake at slower speeds.

Final Words I had compared the Beat with Figo before making the purchasing decision. I felt the Figo was harder to handle, plus the fact that it is priced about 50000 more than the Beat. Boot space was not a considering factor for me (Beat has much lesser boot space). Overall, I am very satisfied with the Beat so far.

Areas of improvement GM should offer more accessories in-built in the PS version, it is over-priced slightly. Dealers are sometimes hopeless, GM should improve their dealer network. Rear seats could be improved further and also, the boot space. Some parts of the dashboard and door handles look cheap. Doors do not have safety lock near the latch, still have to rely on knob locks on the windows. Accessories are clearly overpriced at the showroom.
