Similar to Vento, but still a Skoda

<p>The car is simply as awesome as its VW sibling. Priced at least 4-5% lesser, it comes as an extremely brilliant option in the segment, and in an era, wherein the Honda City has become an old daddy, this car is simply awesome for the younger generation.</p> <p>The front looks typically Skoda; the nose, the bonnet, everything. The rich look that Skoda has been giving for decades now is pretty awesome. Extremely brilliant leg room. Beige interiors. Almost similar to Vento. And yes, if you are a 4-spokes steering wheel fan, it has that too (Hardly any car has 4-spokes nowadays...)</p> <p>Few complaints, though. The engine not as powerful as the City. 70% pick-up as compared to the City(petrol, of course). Gear Box doesn't look all that comfortable. Rest all perfect. Best option though, if you wish to go for Diesel.</p> <p>Compared to the Verna Fluidic, it has a better engine option at a lesser price. Better mileage, ofcourse. Verna 1.4 vtvt long drive review

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We have travelled about 2300 km in verna 1.4 vtvt. Speaking of looks this car has the best in class looks for an affordable price. It has an amazing performance packing 107 bhp engine in the front. We traveled from Hyderabad to bangalore on 25/10/2014(I.e. The first day of our trip). The average speed of the car was 140 km/hr. The top speed of this car driven by me was 180 km/hr.Now those who say this car cannot go beyond 130 please turn off the Eco mode and feel the punch in the engine.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Speaking of comfort, having travelled for 2300 km we did not have any back pain. this car is extremely confortable and has an amazing sound proof cabin. the suspension in this car is good but not superb as they perform extremely well on low speeds and perform moderately on high speeds.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;handling in vernal is better but not the best when compared to another competitors. We wish we had better handling when traveling in the ghat roads. we had a tough time when traveling from Hassan to mangalore in NH 48. &nbsp;The reason may be because we travelled at night.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; music system in Vern's is better but not the best. I installed a pair of Polk audio component speaker to increase the output and yes it did work. These speakers work great and has good output.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Air conditioner in vernal is one of the best.
