<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Exterior</strong> Typical Box type SUV design still very practical, modern, stylish, very elegant and superb build quality. Looks many times better than Audi Q7 or BMW X5, Panaromic Sunroof very good.</p> <p><strong>Interior (Features, Space &amp; Comfort)</strong> As soon you step in it gives you a feel of very high end luxury car. Touch Screen music system with 9 Speaker Harman Kardon speakers producing excellent sound. Theatre like seating, can easily accomodate 7 adults still leaving space for luggage. All off roading functions, terrain select are easy to use. Wood finish is elegant. Driving Position is highly commanding.</p> <p><strong>Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox</strong> Engine is great slightly noisy when rev hard, 10kmpl in delhi and gearbox.</p> <p><strong>Ride Quality &amp; Handling</strong> Ride was good but steering doesnt get heavy during high speeds, King of off roading with all the features like Hill descent, ESP, ABS. Handling was very easy and yoy will never feel that you are driving such a big vehicle even cities.</p> <p><strong>Final Words</strong> Real SUV, with superb built quality, looks, excellent features,space &amp; not a bad fuel economy. Any day better than its German counterparts.</p> <p><strong>Areas of improvement</strong> Minor fine tuning of gearbox and may added 50-60 HP power. Ultimate suv in the segment that never got an opportunity to become a popular vehicle in India

<p><strong>Exterior</strong> Beautifully crafted giving it the curved shape body, same segment as the porsche cayenne. Gets a lof attention when zooming by on the street. Needed a little more styling which the new shape touareg got in the year 2012.</p> <p><strong>Interior (Features, Space &amp; Comfort)</strong> Lacks comfort in the rear and lacks back seat features.its got a separte consol for the rear airconditioning. Doesnt have sun visors in the rear. Good built from the inside.</p> <p><strong>Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox</strong> MAD POWER 3.0 does pretty well with an v6 its got. Drive is very good when you sitting on the driver's seat, gives you the confidence to off road and to speed on the highways. gear box in the 1st and 2nd speed is slighty slow but in a span of 3 second the TOUAREG's TORQUE takes over the vehicle.</p> <p><strong>Ride Quality &amp; Handling</strong> BAD, not reccomended if not self driven &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Final Words</strong> Would have been an ideal suv if marketed well, delearships and workshops in india would be more equipped to handle this vehicle. VW INDIA MANAGEMENT IS HIGHLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CAR NOT TO DO WELL IN THE MARKET. very few owner's but had to get rid of their cars as the service all over India is not capable to handle a vehicle like this.
