Exterior Very good style, one of the good ride to impress on the road, VW pay more  get more - basic features are missing in trend line model - ele. mirror, keyless, stylish paint quality, compact sedan good to handle anywhere in city/highway, finally - good body, worth to buy for status symbol.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Again features are good in highline only, trendline definitely miss some, space utilization is 100% in current sedan, good space in front and rear, boot space is good enough, overall its good for space, comfort is good, drivers arm rest is useful for long drive, still fancy items are missing which are esthetic -  e.g ele. mirror closing, steering controls etc.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Diesel engine performance was bad for me - buy petrol if you want this brand to maintain easily the test driving car was in very bad condition- Clutch was bumping continuously on my leg, engine noise was high comparing to other same size diesel engine -[ when i'd asked to the representative why? he said because of  various different driving styles of test drive people took; the car is in bad state, and have to be repaired, which was not happened before me :(.

Advise: do not listen radio while taking test drive; less experience in indian market, to maintain this car it would be little expensive. middle class think again before you buy! higher middle class and above would be a good choice.

    Finally -

I'd developed the trust on VW in EU, SA, UK driving, but indian :(, POLO is proven all over the world, vento needs to be improved, VW is one of the easy maintaining car in the world, but indian mechanics are in learning state.

Ride Quality & Handling Very good, best in class.

Final Words My belief is over the few years VW will become maruti to maintain- anyone on the roadside mechanic will fix it for you :).

Areas of improvement Reduce engine noise/make drivers cabin insulated, clutch, dead paddle.

very good looking, interior space utilizationEngine-experience for indian road & climate
