The one thing you look forward to when buying a German car is the performance and this car definitely will not disappoint you. Lets begin with the exterior, though the design is sharp and bold it will not stand out in the crowd, the use of low quality plastics does not help either. The interior could have been better considering you pay close to 20 lakhs on road for these cars, but yes it's touch disappointing, cheap plastics on the dashboard which makes a crackling sound throughout, and the seats are ventilated and comfortable. The sunroof could have opened a bit more. Coming to the driving experience, well German cars won't disappoint you and so does VW, it takes the bumps on the roads quite effectively, and the car can zip and overtake with ease. Even at a speed of 160kpm the car is steady and grips the road. The braking is quite responsive even at these speeds and you can feel safe while driving this car. Overall its a nice car to drive and enjoy on your long trips. The interior could have been much better and i would only give it a 1 out of 5 and overall 3 out of 5 for the car. Its just not the performance that matters but also the comfort but unfortunately VW fails to deliver that comfort that you usually get in anywhere in the Middle East or European models.

This is a fun-to-drive car .. which gives peak torque at lower rpms .. handling and braking is superb so too is the turning radius and the way the car feels to handle curvy roads. Feels adequately powered for riding on steep roads. Packed with features like Ventilated Seats, Wireless charging etc. Some interior materials could have been better, but it's a trade-off as these cars have a far superior exterior build quality than their Asian rivals(hence the 5-star safety rating). Overall an amazing car

Lacks VW DNA of Polo, Vento, and Ameo.Upgraded from Ameo but lacks features of Ameo comfort line to Taigun Topline.Felt disappointed. Locking sound, one-touch window operation, key operated windows omitted in Topend models...I regret selling Ameo.

Bought it as used car (just 1 year old and 5K Km). Initially had concerns on 1 litre engine but the driving experience is great. Even on slopes (hills), the engine does not disappoint. It exceeded my expectations. There is a bit of engine noise on very slow speed (when you stop at traffic light or while parking) but the cabin noise is free once you are inside and gain a bit of speed. I liked the looks from all angles. It has very graceful appearance, typical to Volkswagen cars. The Interiors are not very flashy and have a touch decency everywhere. Not yet experienced servicing anyhow as a user of Jetta for 8 years, I have no complaints on that front either. Although the the size looks smaller than other competitors, it is bigger inside the cabin. My car being March 2022 model misses on some features like auto folding OVRM (due to chip shortage that time), I plan to get it retrofitted in next month.
