      Exterior

Pretty decent looking, would be easily mistaken for a vento. The taillights have an audi like look to it. but it has a good road presence overall.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Very comfortable place to be in only for four people though. Dashboard feels top end with the soft touch material and well laid out. Would do better with a sat nav system and rear view parking camera. The music system is great, comes with aux and sd card, but no usb option and bluetooth streaming

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Has alot of torque to offer, great acceleration and top speed. Can easily race to a ton in the 2nd gear. Would easily compete with high end luxury vehicles for sheer performance. Has a decent fuel economy in city probably about 14kmpl and above 18kmpl on the highway. A slick 6 speed gearbox which is happy to be revved hard and has a lot to offer. Doesn't need to be downshifted too often in slow speeds

      Ride Quality & Handling

Great ride and handler, you never feel any bumps or potholes. But the ground clearance is low so expect the under-carriage to be scraped quite often. The steering is well weighted at speeds and light in traffic, perfect. Fast corners are never an issue, combined with ABS ESP and traction control 8 airbags, never worry about safety. Braking under high speeds is as easy as it comes, never moves outside the trajectory.

      Final Words

It is really comfortable luxury car with good performance and safety features and the VW badge and built like a war tank. But ownership comes at a cost. Inadequate qualified service engineer is a real pain. The manual air con is sure to encounter a problem sooner than latter. Expensive spare parts.

      Areas of improvement

Service, exterior looks and comfort features.

Comfort, high speed stability and torquey engineService, delivery period, lack of sat-nav and parking cameras

Exterior Very stylish car. Pleasure to be in because of the stylish design. However they cud have changed front headlamps and daylight a little.. (i love dis ones also but thn vento and polo shud hav been different)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable car.. however it shud have audio controls at back cos car mostly driven by chauffers. problematic for 3 to sit in the rear.. having said that i jss love the interiors and othr features in the car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very gr8 as of now. it features in many VWs , skodas n audis. the dsg gearbox is a pleasure to drive. car goes to high speeds vry quickly. sports mode is an added advantage.

Ride Quality & Handling Automatic cars are always pleasure to drive especially on mumbai roads. hadling is superb.

Final Words I chose d jetta over laura and i am glad about my decision. i am in absolute love with dis car. love the black color. very good car.

Areas of improvement Shud offer more features in the top variant atleast just like laura L&K. less arrogance of vw dealers wud do no harm.

style , interior , performance , feelfront headlamps like vento , less features compared to Laura L&K

Exterior Bought the 2015 Jetta Face lifted model a month ago and have driven it for 700 kms. Exteriors look extremely good After the facelift. The bouynet could have been slightly higher. Tail lights are very Audi like.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious and comfortable for the Highline version. Unlike the previous models, the face lifted 2015 model's Air conditioner is extremely powerful and cools the interior within a minute while it is 40 outside. Running day lights with auto head lamps are the added features in the 2015 Jetta Highline. Flat bottom steering wheel is very sporty to look at and extremely accurate and responsive while driving.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent common rail diesel engine. Superb pick up. DSG noisy and not smooth in the upshift. Fuel Economy is bad for a diesel engine. Gave 10 / L during the current summer month with the AC on. With the heavy diesel, the car looks very planted to the road.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. Ride qualty - Very smooth drive with vey little body roll. The high quality rear suspension makes the rear  passengers   vey comfortable. Most bumps do not reach you. Very accurate and responsive steering.

Final Words Highly understated car. Bit expensive yet the top version of jetta was 7 lakhs cheaper than the base model of Audi A3. Surely, the brand value of the Audi A3 is missing but then one has to decide whether he is an internally or externally driven person. There is a trade-off here between brand value and getting less for more in the A3.

Areas of improvement Jetta proves, at times, to be a slightly bigger car for the congested Indian roads. Do not buy this or another big luxury car if you have to frquently drive through congested city roads. Jetta is ideally suited for the highways or the 4 lane city roads.

      Looks, performance, ride, handlingSlightly overpriced

      Exterior

Excellent exterior with masculing appeal. Excellent finish of paint and chrome work.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Great space - better than BMW3, extremely comfortable, Good interior - but VW could have given more chrome on centre console. Need improvement on leather coverings on door trims. Sunshade is required on rear and back passenger windows.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Refined engine with great mileage. Don't feel you are driving a diesel car ! German enginnering is really better than Japanese !!! Super suspension. Extremely refined gear box (AT). Love to drive it.

      Ride Quality & Handling

Superb suspension. extremely well handling on curves and traffic.  Feel safe at every speed.

      Final Words

Very good car. Except bluetooth connectivity which does not cost much (to VW). Sunshades are required for rear as well as rear passenger windows.

      Areas of improvement

Need to give bluetooth & GPS for such a priced car. Also required is auto closing of side mirrors when car is locked. Also as stated sunshades are required for rear and rear passenger windows.

Silent Cabin, Powerful Engine, Superb Mileage. Great cabin space. No Bluetooth & GPS. Manual closing of side mirrors

      Exterior

Only drawback they should have offered FOG Lamps in all Variants of the Car, The Car has Good Finish and the Tails Lights are really Designed Very Well.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Features are not Apt to the Car with such Price Tag, Music System is Really Poor, Problem is that VW India does not have any information on whether we can update the Music System or Not. Also the Rear AC Vent Design Needed to be improved the Person cannot easily shift the legs across.Ideal for 4 People only. MOST IMPORTANT GUYS WILL SMALL KIDS PLEASE CHECK THE LOCK SYSTEM IN THE CAR PRIOR TO PURCHASE AS THE CAR DOOR DOES NOT LOCK FROM INSIDE WHILE DRIVING _ VW DEALER INFORMED COMPULSARY TO MAKE CHILD SEATED IN REAR SEAT WITH CHILD LOCK. THEY SAY THIS LOCK IS DONE FOR YOUR SAFTY INCASE OF ACCIDENTS OR FLOODING THE DOOR CAN BE EASILY LOCKED.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

This is the Best Part Execllent Responsive Engine Drove About 3500 Kms in nearing 2 Months, Good Milleage Gives me 14 Kmpl in City like Mumbai and Highway Goes about 21 Kmpl (If Driven at Constant Speed of 110Km/ Hr) Still More Speed with Reduce average to 17 - 18 Kmpl. Gear Box is Slick & Good.

      Ride Quality & Handling

Ride Quality & Handling is really good, the Car Addresses Sharp Coners very well at High Speed.

      Final Words

NOT REALLY THE IDEAL CAR TO BUY IN TERMS OF FEATURERS AND INDIAN MENTALITY BUT GOOD GERMAN ENGINEERING .

      Areas of improvement

VW SHOULD IMPROVE SERVICE AND ALSO UNDERSTAND INDIAN DRIVING CONDITIONS.

Excellent Responsive Engine, Good Suspension, Good Mileage. No Featurers compared to Car with Similar Price Tag, Poor VW Service

Exterior Looks are too good, unlike the flashy cruze this car is a relief of elegance and sophistication, shark fin antenna adds an extra bit of international feel.two tone alloys on highline is too good. Reshaping and composition of headlights & tail lamps is great and DRL gives another tinge of international design. The car has followed the "Leaner Meaner Fitter" philosophy and will sell like hot cake.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors do give a good feel and are now enhanced by the leatherette upholstry & wooden inserts. The centre console doesn't attract too much but yes it has elegance and then an improved audio system (as compared to 5th generation jetta) is there to take care of any every kind of media. The 12 way adjustable seat is a treat in this segment.Parking sensors and electrically foldable, adjustable, heated mirrors are there to handle the car in those places where you may wish your car had a been a little less gigantic.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The same 2.0TDI but with an increase in power and torque. this engine did well enough even with 110 ps and 250 NM,and now 140ps and 320 NM is mesmerizingly enjoyable. The car outperforms cruze for that matter despite of a little less power and torque.Fuel economy is marvellous for this segment.19.33kmpl is no at all bad.and with DSG it sweeps 16.96 kmpl for a litre of the precious fluid.gearbox is a treat for the people who love driving. It has larger gear ratios and the power delivery through it is so linear that you don't feel any jolt. While driving the highline (with DSG,triptronic and paddle shift to serve the master on drivers seat) you may wonder that the only thing left is a voice command gear shift :-).Every technology(gearbox) is there in this car.DSG shifts between the gears within 1/400th of a second which increases fuel economy and reduces jolts. two thumbs and toes up for this.

Ride Quality & Handling The car shows respect to every challenge on the road ie. hard cornering, bumps, body roll... etc.its the 139 mm ground clearance which may worry you but the suspension is tuned accordingly to compensate it but yes the low GC contributes to a higher level of stability on higher speeds like 220!(yes it reaches there) and the front spoiler(or splitter) helps in that too.But yes you need to have some driving skills to save your car's grounding while fiddling with the city potholes and mountain like speed breakers. Throw the car into hard corners and the car won't let you down, suspension is good,Throttle response is good.A little lively steering could do well.

Final Words Great car to drive, own, flaunt and enjoy feels a bit pricy when you are inside the cabin but the moment you unleash it the car makes you feel the adrenaline. Overall the car is good value for money.

Areas of improvement A sunroof and a dual zone cliamatic(like 5th generation) are the areas where the car left me craving. The front armrest is also no more adjustable.Lacks in ground Clearance.
