Initially set out to purchase a new hatch back when i randomly stumbled across an ad for the Pre owned Duster. It was White Color with just around 15k kms done and less than 2 years old. Somehow the deal happened and got it. Adaptation from small hatch to duster was not that difficult as i thought it would be. Once you are inside the car it just doesn't feel that huge as it looks from the outside. Being a Diesel Car. I found the Clutch to be bit harder for my liking. The gearshifts are not smooth either. Well that's how it may be built for but not a fan of harder clutch & stiff gearbox. The driving position of this car is pretty good unlike the awkward view of Ecosport in comparision. The Power of 85BHP is quite adequate for my usage. Be it on the highway or in the city. Never felt the lack of power and it did handle well for our usual usage. For the car of it's size. one would expect ample of space inside the cabin; unfortunately not to be so !! Rear legspace is same as any other hatch back. Though the boot space is huge. Wish Renault would have reduced the boot space to provide more space inside the cabin. Extracting a fuel economy of aprox 16 overall (City + Highway with AC on) Overall a good purchase.

I bought duster 4*4 a year back and so far the experience has been more than what I expected. It has got the best suspension in class, you rarely feel a bump. I have driven this on every possible terrain; mountains( Spiti valley, Bharmour valley, leh Ladhak, Chitkul), deserts, highways and where not, this car has always thrilled me with its performance. And it’s 4*4 feature is just a knob twist away. Duster is the cheapest 4*4 after thar and Gurkha in India, I guess you are aware how the cars drive. I guess if a person is finding a car which can drive smoothly in city condition, should have a decent average, should have off-roading capabilities, duster should be the choice. This car has one drawback which has nothing to do with car performance which is definitely the best, it’s music system. It has got the same system which you will find in kwid. You will have to upgrade the speakers for a better experience.

I purchased duster Rxl 85ps diesel in 2016. I was used to driving a small car and it just took two rides with my duster to fall in love with it. It is a perfect SUV for long drives and I can drive it for a whole day without getting tired. The mileage is very good and the engine is the best in its class as it never lets you down in any terrain. I have clocked 30000 km and the engine feels brand new. One advice is while getting it serviced try to look for a person having good experience. Cayene orange was the colour of my car, I wish that Renault had given extra paint coating so that it is not easily scratched. The people at service centre are very courteous and helpful.

After 2000 km of using I probably say that this is a very good family car on budget range. Looks wise it's dam cool car and its quick pick up made me mad. Maintenance is ok not too high.

Duster is the value for money in this range, it is very comfortable and has good space. Boot is also very spacious, in this range you are getting all the features like Cruise, Info media , Alloys etc. I am also satisfied with the average so it is actually value for money in this segment

I own a Renault Duster RXS CVT 2017 model. Why Duster - IT was my dream car since it was launched way back in 2012. Why CVT - Easy to drive, easy in bumper to bumper traffic, your left leg and left hand can relax now in long journeys. And if you are at age of 30+ 35+ and going to use this car for 7-8yrs, CVT will be a good option. Now my experience of owning this car for 2 years. PROS :- 1. Great pricing in the segments, chepeast amongst its competitors 2. Great Driving dynamics and Handling. Good steering feedback. 3. MRF WANDERER tyres and great and keeps the car planted in highway. And you will feel confident while Cornering. 4. Front seats offers great comfort, with driving seat offering commanding view and u feel like seating in a proper SUV. 5. Humgous boot space . You can literally pack your huge luggages for long trips easily. 6. Back seat is bench type with individual seat belts and can be folded to increase the already humongous boot space. 7. Eco mode to boost slightly the fuel economy by decreasing the engine performance and ac performance. So while in highway always turn that off, so that you can overtake other vehicles easily. 8. Great Ground clearance and rugged performance in rought terrains. 9. As it was a CVT, there was no jerk felt during auto transmission, but when sudden burst of power is required a rubbery feel was there. But one needs a bit of practice how to handle it. 10. Maintainence per 10,000 km or 1 year. Basic Maintainence would come around 5000-6000 rupees which is great. 11. The blacked out Alloy wheels look great and the wheel arches are big giving it a proper SUV Look. CONS :- 1. Internal aesthetics and Features could have been better. But as far my experience I am satisfied with all that it has to offer. 2. Touch screen doesn't offer GPS, Navigation and Back Camera. But as per my experience I installed a third party GPS and placed it in my eye level near the driver side and also attached back camera to it. Nothing much complaint regarding this feature. 3. NBH level is one area where the manufacturer needs to work. Compared to its competitor the road noise and engine noise and not properly filtered. 4. No Rear AC vents. But as per my experience, fonts AC and Vents were adequate to chill the whole cabin. Fuel economy is average considering its a 1500cc engine. When AC is off it will give you 2kmpl more mileage. good car ( riding, looks and performance ) but very poor service network ( Delhi Ncr ) totally waste of money. it's my personal experience. rest riding experience (performance) is awesome.

Good ride quality. Fuel efficient. Maintenance is costly . Highly capable car. Masculine body. Good capable off-roader for this money. Huge boot capacity. Family loving vehicle.

The experience was super, but the price is slightly higher at this range. The riding experience is quite good, but the performance is not at that range. looks excellent... Servicing is fantastic and not much maintenance. Pro, Master of speed Looks good More space
