It is evident that electric vehicles are going to be future. Germany has its eyes on one million electric vehicles in the country by 2020 and achieving 50 per cent electric car sales in another ten years. The global emission norms are getting meaner by the day and slowly hybrid engines will become mandatory to meet the norms, if not fully electric.
The China only Volvo S90 L has been spotted in the People’s Republic ahead of its official debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show in December. The car gets the same design, feature list and even engine lineup but is 100mm longer than the normal S90. Hyundai will be unveiling the RN30 concept at the upcoming 2016 Motor Show. Ahead of its showcase event the company has released the teaser images for the vehicle. The concept reportedly previews the N performance version of the new i30 hatchback. The new concept will look different from its regular models, much like its other N-badged models.
A heavily camouflaged BMW Z5 test mule was spotted doing the rounds at the Nurburgring in Germany. While sources suggest that the Z5 (codenamed G29) will act as a successor to the Z4, the new car could get launched by the end of 2017.
Peugeot, who is India bound in 2018, has revealed a list of SUVs that it is bringing to the upcoming 2016 Paris Motor Show. Fiat has launched the Avventura Urban Cross in the Indian market for a launch price of 6.85 lak[v21] h (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available across three variants - two diesel and petrol, of which the latter is an Abarth spec vehicle. Bookings began a week ago and deliveries for the car will take place in October.

The highly anticipated India-bound Jeep Compass has been leaked in its Chinese avatar ahead of its official debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show in November. This will be the new entry-level model from the American automaker and will also arrive in India in mid-2017.

As Nissan fans wait to see the all new Micra at the 2016 Paris motor, the Japanese automaker has released the teaser images to further fuel curiosity. Based on what can be seen, the new Nissan Micra will share its looks with the Sway concept which was showcased earlier this year.
