In a twist of tales, the infamous race track Nürburgring seems to have been sold to German based Capricon Group according to news reports. Last week we heard speculations about the track being sold to Miami-based company HIG Capital.

The Jaguar XE has been spotted testing in a production body for the first time. Spied undergoing cold weather testing on a frozen lake in northern Sweden, the car will be an entry level sports sedan. Jaguar gave us a glimpse of the car at the Geneva Motor Show, last week, where it had released the first image of the car and sales are expected to commence from mid-2015.

The next-generation Land Rover Freelander has been spotted again. Wearing an arctic camouflage, the spotted car was a high-performance variant, identified by its dual exhaust system and a tailgate mounted spoiler. With a global debut planned at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October, the car is expected to go on sale in 2015.

Hyundai has launched the Xcent in India for Rs 4.66 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) with bookings of the car starting today. The range starts at Rs 4.66 lakh to Rs 6.47 lakh for the petrol variants and Rs 5.56 lakh to Rs 7.38 lakh for the diesel variants. The petrol Automatic variants range from Rs 6.29 lakh to Rs 7.19 lakh. The sedan made its world debut at the Delhi Auto Expo, last month, and is a stretched version of the Grand i10 hatchback.

Volkswagen first unveiled the e-Golf at the 2013 edition of the LA Auto Show. This all-electric version of the popular Golf hatchback has now been put on sale in the UK with on-road prices starting at £25,845 (Rs 26.19 lakh). Now it may seem too steep for a hatchback but for an EV, the pricing seems to be on par with the competition.
