Skoda India, in an interview with a publication has revealed that the Rapid will be the core product of the company. Skoda doesn’t have any volume seller in its product portfolio and the Rapid is the entry-level Skoda one can buy.

BMW has issued a worldwide recall for 3 Series models to replace passenger-side front airbags. The recall has been announced over a concern that the front-seat passenger could be injured by metal shards being deployed by a faulty component from inside the airbag, in the event of a crash. It will cover upto 16 lakh cars worldwide, manufactured between May 1999 and August 2006.

The 2014 Honda Jazz has been launched in the Malaysian market for RM 73,000 (Rs. 13.7 lakh). Bookings of the Honda Jazz had commenced in the country earlier this month and deliveries are expected to begin immediately. The Jazz will be available in three variants – S, E and V, powered by the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine.
