The Audi National Twin Cup finals took place in India recently. Completing its fourth edition successfully, the two-day saw Audi Ludhiana lifting the championship title in the Technology category. The service category award, meanwhile, was taken by Audi Hyderabad.

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) has announced the inauguration of its second dedicated facility. Located at Whitefield, Bangalore, this new R&D facility is spread across an area of 266,000 sq ft with capacity of over 2,400 people. The location, in fact, is close to Whitefield Palms, the head office of MBRDI.
Three weeks after the finale of the 2014 FIA World Rally Championship, Hyundai has started working towards the opening rounds of its second season in the gruelling competition. The Hyundai Shell World Rally Team – as the rallying arm of the Korean brand is called, is undergoing a four day test in the Alpes in France.

Korean utility vehicle maker SsangYong has released a teaser video of its new B-segment crossover, the Tivoli. The model has been under development for the past three years and previously seen in concept form with the project name X100. The brand has announced that it will launch the Tivoli in Korea in January next year.
The Celerio made its global debut at the 2014 Auto Expo in India and later the European model was unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The right-hand-drive model of the car is yet to go on sale which might be around February 2015 whereas the left-hand-drive models might go on sale by end of this year.
The new Jaguar XF might be unveiled at the 2015 New York Motor Show before going on sale later next year. The new car is expected to carry styling cues inspired by the younger sibling XE and a lightweight aluminium chassis that is bound to make it more efficient and dynamically better than the outgoing model.
Skoda has announced that they have produced more than one million cars in 2014 and sold 9,55,300 units globally by the end of November. They delivered 90,200 cars in November showing a growth of 10.1 per cent in comparison to their previous performance.
The Hyundai Elite i20 Cross has been spotted testing by one of our readers, Mr Savio Paul, outside of Chennai. Based on the Elite i20, this new crossover from what we can see follows the standard formula of a body kit, taller wheels and roof rails but will retain most of the interior and obviously engine lineup.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabrio has been spotted testing in Europe. It is expected to be the fourth such body style for the new Benz after the sedan, estate and the coupe of which the last one is expected to be launched in mid 2015. However, reports suggest that the coupe has never been spotted in action leading us to believe that the cabriolet might actually arrive before the coupe.
