Tata Motors has announced that it has refreshed eight cars in its lineup for 2013. The refreshed cars are the Indigo eCS, Indica eV2, Sumo Gold and Safari facelift and they will go on sale immediately. The refreshed line up also includes CNG variants of the Indigo eCS, Indica CNG and the Nano CNG that will go on sale in September. 

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be launched in New Delhi on the 25^th of this month. The car was unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show and flaunts the new design philosophy that Mercedes has incorporated in its recent models. 

Lamborghini has launched an India limited edition Gallardo LP550-2 for Rs 3.06 crore (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The car has been limited to just six examples for the Indian market and has been launched as a part of the Raging Bull’s 50th anniversary celebrations. It joins other limited models of the Gallardo like the Singapore and Indonesia Limited Editions that were unveiled as a part of Lamborghini’s golden jubilee celebrations.

Just yesterday, we brought you a report that provided all the details on the successor to the Lamborghini Gallardo. The report also said that a concept version of the car will be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and that a final production version will go on sale in the middle of next year. Now, we have our first glimpse of the vehicle testing on what is believed to be a racing facility somewhere in Europe. 

Mercedes-Benz has priced the CLA45 AMG sedan at 48, 375 USD (Rs 28.25 lakh) for the American market and is 18,000 USD (Rs 10.51 lakh) more expensive than a regular base-spec CLA.  The compact sedan, based on the German automaker’s MFA front-wheel drive platform and derived from the CLA sedan, was unveiled at 2013 New York Auto Show. It is range topper in the CLA line up.

Porsche has launched the 2013 Cayman S in India for Rs 93.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car was unveiled at the 2013 LA Auto Show in November. It has been completely revamped and is lower and longer, lighter and faster, more efficient and more powerful than the outgoing model. The car also gets a longer wheelbase, wider track and larger wheels. As is the case with the German automaker’s entire line up for the Indian market, the Cayman S will be brought into the country as a CBU.  

Following the launch of the all-new 2014 S-Class, Mercedes-Benz confirmed its intentions to add three new variants to the S-Class platform. The coupe and convertible versions of the luxury model are already on the chart and the Extended Wheel Base version will be the next in line.

The most eagerly awaited vehicle of the year is yet to be launched. However, the good news is that Ford has begun rolling the crossover from Marimalai Nagar plant and that means that the car is going to be launched within the next ten to twelve days. Bookings for the EcoSport have already begun and dealers are charging Rs 50, 000 as the amount irrespective of the variant.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift is all set to get a minor facelift during the upcoming 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Suzuki has unintentionally updated its Belgium website with this new model and the facelift includes evident cosmetic changes while staying true to the design philosophy.
