Ford India introduced the new 2012 Ford Fiesta line-up, with the Ambiente as a new variant. The Ambiente petrol costs Rs 7.23lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2012 line-up of All-New Ford Fiesta will be available in manual transmission in two trims, in both petrol and diesel powertrain options.

Ford will launch the Fiesta automatic on the 28th of February. The Fiesta automatic is available only on the range-topping version of the 1.5-litre petrol engine. This is a 6-speed dual clutch transmission.

This December, Ford has slashed prices for its various models including the recently launched Fiesta. The Chennai-based American automaker is offering discounts of upto Rs 75,000 on the Fiesta.

Ford had launched the Fiesta, just a few months ago with the new 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The Fiesta petrol will soon get a new dual-clutch transmission. This will be a 6-speed autobox that Ford calls it PowerShift. 

Ford has truly taken the Indian market quite seriously and to show that it means business, it has promised no less than eight new models in the recent future.The company has already tasted success with the ‘made for India’ Figo hatchback and now expects the same from the Fiesta sedan, which it has launched recently.

Ford India, which just launched the All-New Fiesta, sold 71,347 wholesale and export vehicles from January to July 2011, compared to 49,131 units sold during the same period last year – a 45 percent increase year-over-year. 

Ford today launched its new Fiesta. The Fiesta is Ford's first global sedan and it will available with a 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine option. The Fiesta price range begins at Rs 8,23,500 for petrol and Rs 9,27,000 for diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi ).

Ford India had earlier made an announcement that it will launch the Fiesta in the second half of the year. So, the Fiesta will be launched on the 14th of July. Ford has been marketing its Fiesta since a long time and we have even driven the new Fiesta.
