Hyundai Brazil has unveiled the HB20 R-Spec Concept at the ongoing Sao Paulo Motor Show. The concept car is developed in South Korea and the company plans to take feedback from the public. They aim to integrate the ideas they receive in to their future models.

The next generation Mahindra Scorpio has been launched for the Nepali market for 3.57 million NPR (Rs 22.21 lakh). This follows the launch of the car in India on September where it was priced at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The all-new car is the most significant update for the SUV since 2006 and includes a host of changes both inside and outside.
The Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover has been launched in the Chinese market for 289,000 Yuan. It is an important vehicle for the German manufacturer in the Chinese market as it gives them access to the rapidly expanding crossover segment. The car is being imported into China at present but local production will begin at the Beijing-Benz plant in mid-2015.

After Honda, it’s the turn of yet another Japanese automaker to announce a preventive recall for its car models sold in India. The automaker in question is Nissan India, who is recalling 9,000 units of the Micra and the Sunny to replace defective airbags.
Honda Cars India has announced that it will carry out preventive replacement of driver side air bag Inflators of 1,040 units of Honda Brio, 1,235 units of Honda Amaze and 63 units of Honda CR-V that were manufactured between September 2011 and July 2014. This is being carried out as part of Honda’s global recall regarding a possible incorrect assembly of the Baffle Plate in the Inflator.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles may build and manufacturer at least one or more luxury SUVs at its plant outside Pune. A report from ET suggests that the premium SUV will be under the Jeep brand and that the entire plan to manufacture it here in India is a part of Rs 1,500-Rs 2,500 crore plan for various markets like UK and Australia.
