Mahindra has issued a proactive recall for 900 units of the Scorpio Ex manufactured between October-November 2013. The company will replace the pressure regulating valve of the respective examples by contacting the owners.

Audi India has sold 9,146 cars from January to November 2013. The carmaker has sold 8,072 cars in the corresponding period in 2012. This shows a 13.31 per cent increase in sales for Audi.

The Tata Nano is one of the few cars on sale in the country today that is offered without the option of a power steering. While this is not an issue when the car is doing speeds above 30kmph it becomes a handful in stop and go traffic, which by the look of it, is the Nano’s primary playground. To counter the issue, Tata fitted the facelifted Nano with a bigger wheel but even this has not done much for the company and now it seems that the Pune-based automaker will finally offer power steering with India’s cheapest car.

Renault will launch a new variant of the Duster for the Russian market next year. This will be a four-wheel-drive car with an automatic transmission delivering a power output of 135bhp acquired from a 2.0-litre petrol engine. Currently the automatic transmission is available only with the front-wheel-drive Dusters in Russia.
