Just yesterday, we brought you a report that provided all the details on the successor to the Lamborghini Gallardo. The report also said that a concept version of the car will be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and that a final production version will go on sale in the middle of next year. Now, we have our first glimpse of the vehicle testing on what is believed to be a racing facility somewhere in Europe.

Mercedes-Benz has priced the CLA45 AMG sedan at 48, 375 USD (Rs 28.25 lakh) for the American market and is 18,000 USD (Rs 10.51 lakh) more expensive than a regular base-spec CLA. The compact sedan, based on the German automaker’s MFA front-wheel drive platform and derived from the CLA sedan, was unveiled at 2013 New York Auto Show. It is range topper in the CLA line up.

Porsche has launched the 2013 Cayman S in India for Rs 93.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car was unveiled at the 2013 LA Auto Show in November. It has been completely revamped and is lower and longer, lighter and faster, more efficient and more powerful than the outgoing model. The car also gets a longer wheelbase, wider track and larger wheels. As is the case with the German automaker’s entire line up for the Indian market, the Cayman S will be brought into the country as a CBU.

Following the launch of the all-new 2014 S-Class, Mercedes-Benz confirmed its intentions to add three new variants to the S-Class platform. The coupe and convertible versions of the luxury model are already on the chart and the Extended Wheel Base version will be the next in line.

Lamborghini will unveil a concept car that will eventually become the successor the to its top-selling Gallardo supercar at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. This new car (codenamed LP724) will be longer, wider and is expected to share many of its components and design features with the next generation Audi R8. The concept vehicle, dubbed the Carbrera by the motoring press, will spawn a production car that is expected to go on sale from the middle of next year.

Mini UK is celebrating 10 years since the first diesel car was added in the Mini range. Mini One D was the first car to get a diesel mill in 2003. The 2003 Mini One D was powered by a 1.4-litre four cylinder engine with common rail direct fuel injection which developed 76PS of power.
