Mahindra and Mahindra launched the pick-up variant of its existing Bolero known as the Bolero MaxiTruck. The pick-up was launched in Pune and will cost Rs 3.52 lakh ex-showroom in the city. The MaxiTruck will be powered by a 2.5-litre engine producing 61bhp along with the micro hybrid technology, which helps in reducing fuel consumption. The pick-up will be manufactured in the Kandivali plant in Mumbai where its tractors, Commanders and Armadas are built. The company plans to launch the CNG variant in the coming months. The MaxiTruck will compete with the Tata 207, and will be convenient for city transport.
