Maruti Suzuki Wagon R [2006-2010] User Reviews

I recently bought one in August 07. This is a cool car for its features, space, interior utilities, Driving position, ease of driving, smoothest and strainfree power steering, Cool n big electrically operated left and right mirrors, foldable backseat, comfortable seats, multi trip electronic odometer, very silent and responsive engine, nice looking sleek steering wheel, and last but not the least powerful AC.

In city driving conditions the mileage will not drop below 12 under any circumstances. Engine is so silent that I had given it ignition more than couple of times even when it was On and was idling at traffic signal.. now I check the tachometer before i give ignition.

Has new cool looks too. its a breeze to drive this car and i am very happy with it.

Only problem is that the gear shift takes time to get used to.

this is very nice car it is my first car i used this car for 4 years no single complaint for updating reason i will sale this car my wagon r car is 2006 vxi good looking and good boot space driver comfort car i love it and it was less maintenance car if someone wants to buy wagon r please go for it was a nice family car

Exterior

Wagon R looks kool, especially the tail lights & the front side. The New wagon R is much many times better in looks than the old one. Some may not like the design at first glance, but eventually you find it very alluring.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 the driver seat is very comfortable and so is the seat next to the driver. It goes back to almost 140degree which can make one very comfortable on long journey. The legroom is good but definitely not spacious for 3 people people on back seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

The engine is excellent, doesn't make any noise. Fuel economy is good, i get 16kmpl on highway and 14kmpl in city. Gear box is dissapointing. You will need some time to adjust to the gear box.

Ride Quality & Handling

 The driving experience is good because of the high seating for the driver. one can have a good view and control the vehicle very well. I used to laugh when ppl used to say it is th ebest car for driving in the city traffic but now i understand what ppl meant by having control while driving the car.

Final Words

Excellent car for city, even if you have to drive a lot daily. 

Areas of improvement  

 Gear Box needs to improved, very difficult to handle in initially. When the roads are not good or at bumps the back seat gets the feel.

Very nice car for the middle class family. It’s a very comfortable and non-maintenance car. It’s good for small and long night people. It’s looking is so nice. I like this car. But it’s not using for ruffing drive.

This car is too amazing because I have also a wagonr vxi when driving this car it feels like driving a suv car because the body of the car is tall and for the tall people it is good to drive. This car is the perfect family car so from my side I want to advise you that if you want to buy this car than you choice and thinking is 100% correct. Go for it best car.

Hi I had purchased the wagon r vxi 2007 model in the year of 2012 , the vehicle was excellent and performance was superb, my evergreen memory of vehicle is once had been to hydrabad from bangalore the speed was at 160 and control was very easy to handle.. talking about service cost its around 3000-5000 for every 5000-10000 kms . due to my financial issues I sold it in the year of 2018 Sept. In over all 7 years once i had a battery problem, and only one puncher. very proud of Maruti suzuki and maruti Suzuki family.

in this price segment this is a good car, i think every car give it best result if we maintain it and serviced at its time period. I used to service my car at Apra Maruti Service Sataion at Okhla. Once i had a bad experienced, there was a little sound in my car, but nobody was actually trying to find out the problem, they were saying that we are not hearing any sound. After a time i got a call a from Maruti Quality Manager for my feed back, I told him each and every problem to him, he said ok no problem bring your car at your service station we serve you better this time . I met him personally at Service station. After his assurance. Finally they resolve the problem. And now I am happy with their services. So always try to service your car at Maruti Service station, and try to make a record of vehicle maintenance. Thank You.
