Exterior  Exterior is very good in this segmant . Its aerodynamics and front styling while maintaining its tall boy structure.Good use of chrome and metallic front grill would be good.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interior, giving sufficient leg room for back passengers, enough head room. good road view, nicely arranged dash board. Having 3 passengers in back side is not creating any problem.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its satisfactory performance and giving a good milage of 16kmpl in city and village road with AC.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Very Nice and Soft. i think this best option on croweded road.

 

Final Words Actually its good car 

Areas of improvement Poor visibility at right side turning. Less power in lower gear with AC, Getting some vibrations in interior like door panel. in lower gear power is very less.

 

Have driven a five hundred kilometre in city and village on very bad road then also i get 16 km/lsome vibrations on door panel.

Exterior New model looks good. I see many new Wagon R on roads.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is good and much improved with option of beige interior and wooden finish gives good look. But it can be better.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is very good. No noise of engine even in CNG and when 5 people sitting. I was expecting with 5 people and driving with CNG might not be smooth but it drives smoothly. Only thing i notice is it does not pick up as good as petrol car with 5 people after 70 KMPH speed. Gearbox is very smooth and much improved compare to my Alto Lxi. Getting fuel economy of 18 kmpl in city with A/C ON. I feel as if I am driving a car at the maintenance cost of bike. it is big relief on monthly fuel budget. I was spending 6000 a month and now looking to spend just about 2000 a month.

Ride Quality & Handling Very easy handling, initially it took me couple of days but now I find it very easy to handle compare to my previous car, other advantage is that it got big windows and seat at height compare to other cars so you get broad view outside of car.

Final Words It is family car though I have seen many young professionals are going for it with some sporty looks with stickers. Value for money. It is for cool mind people who are not interested in crazy car race.

Areas of improvement VXi with CNG is very costly and option is not available. I think Maruti should offer it at competative price. There are lot of accessories require in LXi, but I got almost 7000 accessories free by Spectra motors in Year End Offer.

Least possible maintenance cost, value for money, spacious, seat hieght, maruti serviceno space for luggage in cng, little bit pickup drops with cng

Exterior New improved dynamic side view is eye catching, I like big side view as compaire to front.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Better boot space,3 persons can easily accomodate, one of my friend says"oh it is a 10' by 10' room".

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox fe is good,gives 19+ on highways and 15+ in city.(city avg. changes according to wheather u r driving in the heart of the city or around the city or outside it.) gearshiftinging problem while first & reverse.

Ride Quality & Handling Novice person can easily manage it in city, required less maintainance,some time gives vibrasion  in 2 nd gear.

Final Words Between 4-4.5 lakhs it's best choice, necessary and nearly all features r given in vxi model. Best way go fr vxi as compare to lxi.

Areas of improvement Should be 5 to 7 cm more wider, height is ok but may decrease 4 to 5 cm for budgetary perpose.(it's my personal opinion), parcel tray should be strong enough.music system should be dvd compatible.

BEST CAR IN 5 LAKH RANGE, VERY CONFORTABLE, LESS MAINTENANCE AND GOOD FUEL ECONOMY, BETTER TYRE SIZE, AND EXTERIOR IS GOOD, LOOKS APPEALING. FOR PERSONAL LUGGAGE BETTER BOOT SPACE OF MORE THAN 300 LTR. OVERALL BETTER OPTION THAN TIAGO, KWID AND SANTRO. CAR HAVING MORE PROS THAN CONS.

 

Exterior Its been given a fresh looks and would be better if they were able to eliminate the gap between engine hood and side of body. But the blue city light is not up to the mark with their promos.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interior, giving sufficient leg room for back passengers, enough head room for 6' foot person like me, good road view,nicely arranged dash board. it will be better it was having AC vent for back seat also.Having 3 passengers in back side is not creating any mess.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its satisfactory performance and giving a good mileage of 17kmpl in city drive. Gear shifting is better than the ancestor and feel refined. But it can be refined more as a persons expectations and wishes have no limits...

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good, vehicle is staying in our hands irrespective of road conditions. steering is feeling better and giving a easy complete control over the car.

 

Final Words summing it up, its worth for money package, good family car which can take 5 persons for a ride easily. I have used it for more than 4000 kms and feeling better and love to take it for ride again & again.

 

Areas of improvement Power when AC is on, some more styling and having some good colour combinations.

 

Nice head room,Better leg space for back seat passengers,Well redefined interior,good head clearancePower seems to be affected a little bit with AC on in low speeds.

 

Exterior The blue eyed boy is a true eyecatching boy , with more height than any othr car in the same segment , xcellent front grills, superb rear tail gate and good alloy wheels etc.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Stunning features incldng tilt steering, intgrtd msc systm, superior quality, and much spacious, with good seat arrangements, intgrtd speakers for sorrund effect etc.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine simply superb , astonishingly silent and smooth engine that can accelerate the vehicl pleasantly , exellent low rpm torque that gives smooth drive in the top gear even @ speed of 25-30 km/ hr gives very high FE . smooth gear shift.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality xelent, with super control even during the worst cornrings, simply super steering and great control.

 

Final Words True value for money.

 

Areas of improvement Think should icrease the cc a little bit , and give some curve to the exterior.

Exterior:

Exterior Look and Style are good. Roof Rails, Rear Spoilers, Blue eyes, etc... give premium look for a hatch in this class

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):

 Dual tone interior gives it a premium look. Interior Space is appreciable for a hatch back of this size. Driver seating position is amazing compared to any hatch or sedan in below 10L range

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The proven K10 Engine is excellent in its performance. Its maintenance cost is low. I have done 7500km now. The Engine power is not upto the mark compared to the previous 1.1L Engine.Gear box is also amazing with the new cable shift mechanism. The main area of disappointment is its milege. I am getting only 11-12 km/l in city and 16-18 km/l in highways. overall I am getting around 14km/l with AC, which is a disappointing figure.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride Quality is good. It is very easy to handle and safe to drive around the corners. Despite its height it gives a feel of better handling in curves. Driver seating position is a plus in a small car like this. Wide open door facilitates easy ingress and egress. Even old aged people can easily get into the car

Final Words

 It is a very good family car, which can be taken for long drives as well as city drives.

I have brought a new car VXI model on this independence day. This is my first car so I can't compare this car with the others. The riding & handling quality of the car is better & so the driving experience. Also it gives me better fuel economy @ 18-19 KMPL. So, I think one should definitely go for WagonR if the Budget is around 4-5 lacs.Space, handling,lookso far i didn't faced any drawback of the car.

I was waiting for me to complete 1000 kms to write a review, Just this weekend i completed my 1000 kms and here comes my review about my Wagon R.

Exterior looks could have been better but wagon r has never been good with looks but maruti has worked a bit on wagonr 2010 and looks decent now. There are few more things they could hve worked upon like there is alot of gap at the sides of the bonnet. Antenna could have been positioned in the center, would made have looked more stylish and modern

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Features:- Quite satisfied with the features for this segment car especially tilt steering and electronic adjustment of orvm.

Space:- Space is good, 5th person can squeeze in easily.

Comfort Tall boy car has nice driver's position, it doesnt make u tired even after long drives.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Just completed my 1000 kms, engine performs decent but falls below my expectation, it lack the low end torque and feels low powered, over taking could be a problem on highways.

FE currently:- getting a fuel economy of 13 kmpl with half the time ac on and in bumper to bumper traffice of mumbai

Gearbox:- its not at all the best in class and i feel its bit hard. I have problem with reverse gear. Hyundai cars have much much better gear shift

Ride Quality & Handling Very good ride quality & handling, its a big positive.

Final Words Good city car for a small family with decent engine and space.

Areas of improvement Gearbox and Low end torque.
