Exterior Exterior of the car is stunning. There can be only two kinds of people with Ritz - One who likes the rear style and buy it, one who dislike and go for other cars.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space is better than old version of swift, easy ingress, and comfortable. Only disadvantage is that the interiors do not give a premium feeling.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good. Fuel economy even reached 26 kmpl during some months of drive (with AC on). Constantly gives 20 to 25 kmpl at all times.

Gear box position is stylish and ofen acts as my arm rest during driving. Sound system is superb, Can set the car in motion even at second gear with ease unlike many other cars,

Spare parts cost cheaper than Swift, which in turn is another added advantage to this car.

Ride Quality & Handling Driving is a pleasure in Rtiz, AC is very powerful, I reached top speed of around 160 kmph, and not a small disturbance was noted inside.,  

Twice or thrice, had to apply sudden brakes, resulted in "smooth as normal" experience, Once The car stopped without even a screetch from 110 kmph without any fuss. Thanks to the ABS brakes.

Final Words If you want a top performing hatchback that is true VFM, not dissatisfied with its european design, and in a dilemma to choose bw Swift and Ritz, Ritz is better in all aspects - Yes in all.

Areas of improvement Rear legroom can be improved a bit.

Exterior I had decided almost to buy swift ZDI version. But a few days before i went with my friend having Ritz VDI to a destination 350 kms away ( driven by me ). This drive completely changed my mind about the Ritz. As soon as i riched my home, i immediately booked Ritz & to my luck new ZDI varient was launched at the same time.

Exteriors are changed with lavish touch in ZDI specially front grill & face lift along with rear spoiler which gives Robust & powerful look to the vehicle.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are not dual tone in Baker's chocolate colour Which is the color of my Ritz. But still gives better feeling than swift.😊 But i think, Maruti should have given better interiors like i10 which is of cream colour. Space is quiet good enough as compared to other HATCHBACK CARS..! It actually gives the feeling of sitting in SUV due to Tall boy design.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pick up is very amazing like a Rocket. Just u need to put slight pressure on accelerator pedal & boom..! Over taking has become so easy & less tidious.

Fuel economy is extremely satisfying, 21kmpl in city, 25 kmpl on highways at speeds of 100 - 110 km/hr & 25+ @ speeds of 80 - 90 km/hr.

Ride Quality & Handling Suspensions & ride is very comfortable may be due to bigger tyre size & heavy weight which makes the car stable even at High speeds.

Final Words Final words are, if you are planning for diesel hatchback like swift or ford fiego, then u must take a test drive of Ritz. Having ABS & Airbags in the vehicle gives confidence while driving on highways.

In my journey of 7000kms till today, no other car except skoda was able to overtake my Ritz..! Hats of to the technology..!!

Areas of improvement Power steering has more resistance as compared to hyundai cars. It is the biggest draw back of the Maruti cars as i see..! They should look at the improvement as soon as possible.

Exterior Not bad doors noise will start very soon the tyre is Jk tyre is very poor qulity huge noise.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The plastic quality is very bad cost cutting is evident. Lots of noise from inside cabin including center mirror.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine calibration done maruti is excelent very good but very noisy. Gear box having lots of complaints new vehicle .Gear shifting little notchy

Ride Quality & Handling Ride qulity is high speed is good .But steering feed back is not good body roll too much .break is very poor while breakin stablity ver very poor all maruti vehicle.

Final Words Maruti needs to realiablity all aspect its getting lots of complaints

Areas of improvement Suspension needs to improoved sound proofing breaking stability steering issues. Avoid using low cost tyre usage Like JK tyre.

While hard breaking vehicle turning to one side either left or right .I am lots of problems rear suspensions gear sync inter cooler door loks replaced front and rear wheel bearing very very poor tyres usage like JK its creating huge noise.

Fuel economy is better ,Driving postion is good visiblity is goodMateral quality is very poor suspension and engine noise hearable inside cabin

Exterior Rear end is not so appealing. Front is superb a real hatch back and looks heavy

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are adequate enough,passenger space is very good & comfort is superb. Inbulit music system sound quality feels superb. nippon make which is the brand of all maruti cars.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Still new so all the things are working fine enough but engine noise is on the lesser side, fuel economy is improving and heading towards 19 plus.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is very easy for the tall boy design and ride quality is superb.A perfect highway car I drove this at a stretch of say 500km but I felt after I came to halt is that I am coming out from a small room.AC is quiet chilling if u set it in minimum only.

Final Words Value for money and a worthwhile purchase.

Areas of improvement Rear needs improvement,boot space, Built quality and tachometer is to be integrated with the speedometer. It looks odd. Interiors needs improvement colour and material finish but it will add to prise also.

It would have been a little better... Even for a highend(ZDi) it makes us to feel that there is too much of a plastic.... Music system remote is not working from the day 1 I took... 3 services over.. every time I remind them still it is not fixed.... Standard response from the dealer that this is a Nippon music system and I need to take it to them....

Proven engine, good performance, gear shifting is little hard(may be with my engine) else it is good... Too much of black smoke when raised above 2500 RPM (again may be with my engine) taken to service station... still living with the same problem.... Fuel economy - 18 to 20 on Highway... 14 to 15 within city (Bangalore) which is good I would say.....

Ride Quality & Handling

It feels very good when you are at the wheels.... only problem I felt was the stability when crossing 120... May be we should not be pusing it beyond that neither our roads can handle that speed... but still it is ok for an average speed of 80 to 100 KM..

Visibility for passengers at rear is good... however I feel there is a scope for improvement on the rear comfort..

Customer connect from Maruthi needs improvement... Since the time I bought the car there is no instance that I felt I have connected with maruthi as a group...... There is a scope for improvment.... The reason to mention this is thought I have given my strong review comments on the business feedback card there is no one either from Maruthi or the dealer to even acknowlege the findings... This is something which will be a basic expectation from any customer... There are instances of better experience which makes a custer to feel better to own the product.... For a car I think Maruthi can do something... Anyways there are ample customers for Maruthi.... Just thought of voicing it out... 

Style, PerformancePlastic feel interiors even for the top end.. Stability beyond 120KM.

 Specious, more knee room, driver seat height adjustment, ZDI model is power packed..fully loaded.                                         

getting into the car and getting out of a car is very comfortable as its tall boy design.

 Gear shift is Smooth..almost no noise.. fuel economy nearly 20 KMPL..1st servicing yet to be done.

Ride Quality & Handling

 I find it comfortable and powerful. Compact design helps car zooms through traffic.

Parking is less of an issue. boot space is well than Swift.

Its very very interesting car for youth....i mean full pacage of injay in small bag....power plus milage ka great combination...if you r a racer then atleast once u shoul try this car...i know iys new not available...but if i can manage ..then u never drop this car

Hi All, my Ritz has clocked 112000km in Less than 5 years. Cheers to its ride quality , driving position and a superb high way mile muncher. Good for a family of 4 and a bit squeeze for 5 adults. Currently I started facing problem with gear shift from 2 to 3 and unable to understand if its a normal wear n tear or any serious issue. Showroom guy gave a big laundry list of items to be replaced while quoting 15k only for gear box over haul. BTW what is the reliability of this over haul and how sure are we that the same issue doesn’t crop up again. Also is it mandatory to replace timing chain if the car has crossed 100k kms. Can anyone pls suggest??
