I was in search of Hatchback car since last 1.5 yr. Studied lot on internet, visited several showrooms and after several test drives i came to conclusion that I need a petrol car. (Since my use is very limited.) 1.2L and 4 cyl engine. Was my choice. My Budget was fixed 5.3lakh. I was very much interested in figo, but was not in my budget, more ever figo is very poor in milage for petrol one. Swift- is good one but lacks inside space so rejected. Datson GO is also good one but 3cyl engine makes lot noise and poor built quality. Also polo, Micra-, figo but all were out of budget. Meanwhile IGNIS was launched. Immediately i went to showroom and took test drive. I liked vehicle. I purchased Sigma varient. In my opinion sigma and Delta are value for money. Sigma varient has ABS EBD ,and 2 AIRBAGS ,and front power windows too. I got delivery on 18april 2017. Till now I have completed 12000km. EXTERIOR- Looks good from front, many people don't like rear design but it's vary sporty practical design. Due to rear design we get huge boot space in small car. INTERIOR- Spacious interiors. This car looks small from outside but very SPACIOUS from inside. More space than swift. Plenty of head room and legroom too. Front seats are comfortable. Rear seats are comfortable too but thigh support could have been better for rear seats. Cup holders are very useful. Doors have good space for bottle storage. Drivers view from inside is good. U have to be conscious while parking reverse. Since it's tall boy. ENGINE PERFORMANCE- Pretty good. Very smooth engine. Noiseless. Very powerful. U will love to drive it. It works in Ghat areas very well. U don't need a accelerator to drive reverse gear. Low end torque is good. RIDE AND HANDLING-. Superb!! Very smooth stearing wheel. It's fun to drive this car. Fantastic machine. U will love smooth sound of engine while accelarating. Three digit speed is not problem for IGNIS. I have achieved 130km/hr on highway. No vibrations. 180mm ground clearance is pretty good. It never hits any speed breaker with full load also. Several times I have driven through my fields. 15inch tyres are very useful on bad roads. Upto 10000km i was getting milage of 18 on highway. After 10000km servicing milage is 20+ on highways and 17 in city.thats good one for petrol engine. Suspension is stiff one. U have to b careful on pits and bumps. I have travelled 5 long drives in my car. I can say that long drive comfort is good but not the best. Gear shifting is not the easiest one but it is acceptable. AC is good , cools fast. He1 MAINTENANCE- for 10000km service bill was 1450rs. Will update next servicing. CONS- Rear seat is not much comfortable. Poor built quality. CONCLUSION- VERY GOOD CAR FOR CITY RIDE, GOOD FOR HIGHWAYS ALSO. If up have low budget go for it. In low budget it's powerful car.
