Got my Estilo delivered on 5th of November...

Nice good looking car... Overall spacious but not much comfortable for three people on back seat... A perfect four seater car... Nice exteriors, sexy interiors, large boot space & loaded with nice features. Pickup is also smooth... A\c is cooool... Overall much better choice than santro & wagon r etc....

Plus point of Maruti network over all other brands....

I am a maruit user since 2001 with maruti 800. I am using SX4 as well Since 2009. In june 2011 I purchased a new car Zen Estilo after selling my Maruti 800. I got this car after seeing its look and design. I have driven this car around 2000 KM till date, I found this car spacious and comfortable. Fuel effeciency is very nice. It gives me average of 17 kilometer per litre. The only thing I did not like is the pick up. Pick up is very poor. It goes down further when you switch on the AC. You need to shift gears very regularly because of poor pick up. Probably this would be the reason wny very less people purchase this car. Unfortunately I came to know after buying it.

This is something not acceptable from the company like Maruti. They must think about this. Rest other things I found ok. I am big time maruti user but this time I am bit disappointed.

Thumbs up to maruti suzuki for launching the cutest car in the town- zen estilo. The no problem car for me. No trouble, powerful AC (a must in a city like delhi), good truning radius, easy to park anywhere in a crowded city like delhi. Recently, being awarded as the Most Appealing Car in compact segment by JD Power Asia Pacific, i m sure this car is going to rock in the A2 segment in the country. 10 colors to choose from, great aerodynamic shape, stable on highways, best compact car i have came across.

Others pls beware of this small car, as it is going to rock the roads.

Exterior Not so good looking exteriors. it almost looks like a wagon R.. need to manufactured in more vibrant colors.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good for the money you pay.. dash board needs to be improved little more.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Ok... Not that good as the old zen... Need to try it on the high ways. Gear box is very bad.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is ok when compared to the old zen.. can opt for a swift than this one.

 

Final Words Hmmm. you can go for a swift by shelling out a little extra money.

 

Areas of improvement Gear box.. makes shifting rough.. need to be more smoother. rear wiper is too noisy.. Head lights are not effective, it needs to be more brighter.. driving on highways during night will be difficult in this case. head space and boot space for rear seat should be more.

 OK. Fuel economy is 15kmpl with ac in city, poor pick-up in 2 and 3 gears, power steering is bad and hard, my M800 had better steering, Gear shifts are smooth

Ride Quality & Handling

 OK at speeds till 75 kmph, later on feels risky especially on highways, not totally vibration free, turning radius is more, reversing and parking not simple, not suitable for drivers below 5 ft-2inches - you will need padding to reach the pedals

 Maruti has concentrated more on boot space and asdding most feature in 4lacs instead of improving interior space and driveability

Exterior Exelant extirior with comparison of its class car.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good but some improovment in space to cut some dase smaller.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Exelant pick up and power.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Exelant but some prob with balancing at road.

 

Final Words Exelant value for mony and giving good amainities with budget i dont know but why customer going for wagon r or other car for this range its exelant reword of mony within good look and dasing power.

 

Areas of improvement Balancing problam at running on road solve it with giving some wide tyre and balancing formula of high divided by wait.but overall performance is exelant,with comparison wagon r,spark, indica and santro. I personaly exepiriance it. some space also needed in intiorior with doing small daseboard  My self Kashyap ray i am ones upon time a maruti emplyee and selling car on dealer point so i have expiriance to wtat is bettar.

Exterior Superb - The one verdict for which I purchased. I call it MINI INNOVA.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I am heighted person, so this factor matters. I took test ride on many cars, and this one is most comfortable in mid-range. Yes, excellent luggage space too.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fine. I am getting 13.5 kmpl. But this factor is expected to be more, as many other cars have. Otherwise, no extra maintenance is required. At least I have not went to any service center other than Maruti, that’s what all should do.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Smooooth.

Final Words New Buyers, if uniqueness and style is your motto, just go for it. I am using since 2 years, and I have enjoyed trips with it, lot many times.

Areas of improvement Front part near head-lights, which is already modified, but not in my old model (2008). New colors can also be introduced to target more people.

Pros :Great car to drive in City.Very powerful AC, Good Mileage -15kmpl in city with AC, Inyteriors are Plush and attaractive. The steering is very sensitive which makes it fit for City driving.

Cons : Gears are really very hard to leave  your left hand paining.The pick up is sluggish when on 4th gear.It takes 5-10 sec before it really takes on the speed. I have purchased Lxi in Jan and since then having the problem. How do I reolve this issue!!?? Anybody has a solution

Good fuel economy- 15kmpl in city with Ac, Great Style, Good for City driving,Powerful ACGears are Hard, Sluggish for 5-10 sec then pick up is good,

 

Exterior Exterior are way  better than the older version of this car. Looks very beautiful. Build quality is also ok.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior plastic quality is not up to the mark. It badly needs improvements. The contorls are at good positions and hence driving comfort is there. Its very spacious. I'm 6 feet tall and face little problem while entering/sitting/coming out of the car. Inside it you really feel very roomy. Tall ball design helps a lot in giving this feeling.

Ride quality is however does not satisfy. People sitting behind in the rear seats feels bumpy ride. Driver and co-passenger are comfortable though.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is butter smooth. You don't feel like you ahve cranked the engine even after it has started. Gives very good power. Have driven at around 100 kmph with AC on and no loss of power.

Fuel economy is also very good. Deliverd around 15 kmpl and this is before any service is done. Bound to improve after 2 services. Gear box though is hard. Rerverse gear has few problems. Needs improvement here.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Very good. Very easy handling and good visibility.

 

Final Words I would strongly recommend Estilo to any new buyer for it being value for money. Its great vehicle to start with. Under 4 lakhs buy an estilo. No second thoughts!! :).

 

Areas of improvement Needs improvements slightly in gear box and interiors. However, overall this vehicle gives immense satisfaction as an owner. With these two improvements it will make it a perfect economy hatch. :)
