over all a very gud car for a man nd a pleasure to drive..........very stylish nd an excellent car.........thanx to maruti for such an awesome car...                 very good.. but i had wished if the steering wheel had the adjustable thing nd also the size      of the tyre would  be a little larger...well this is gud ........nd also the beige interiors.the interiors are gud but if it would be beige it would be better..i wish the next model of esteem releasing in 2008 is a lot better.............

Exterior The Exteriors for the Vxi version is awesome. The body colored bumpers and door-knobs definitely adds to the car's looks.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The factory made upholstery provided is the main attraction, the hand rest at the rear seat comes handy many a times especially during long highway drives. I very much like the moulded carpeting and the velvet uphosltered door-knob trims. Theres a moulded carpet even in the boot!

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is very smooth with not much of noises except when combined with the compressor especially in top speeds on the highways. I kinda have been hearing some noise during igniton which gradually dies down after a few kilometers into the drive, guess a car with so much power (i have a used esteem) would emit such negligible noises in the due course.

 

Ride Quality & Handling The overall riding quality and handling is good for such a lengthy vehicle, turns like a charm under steep roads and circumstances. although a little messy to drive around in crowded places.

 

Final Words A great economy based sedan for the middle class truly Indian. Close your eyes and go for it even if its a used one.

 

Areas of improvement More Electronic interiors (the cars production has stopped so no chance of this anymore), Powerful Air conditioners (similar to the one in Altos). i seriously don't understand why the production has been stopped though!

The car is big , classy in its looks, it has good boot space, good seating capacity of five, good pick up good race car.

The negative aspect are the body is very low that it gets hit by pot holes or big speed breaker, not for indian villages, only 9 kmpl with ac on in city limits and only 12 kmpl in high way with a/c on, so not for middle class since poor fuel efficiency, Air conditioner is not good , this car is not for tall and fat people since getting in and out is difficult, steering in lx is ordinary so difficult to turn the car, you need to put more effort so as to turn the car. 

It is a really big car, has good boot space, five people can sit easily,it has good pickup racecarverylow car,dificult togetinout,poormileage,poorA/C,steering is hard in LXmodel

its been 3 years since i own my esteem VXI BSIII and i was just on the bringe of  a change ; had my car reconditioned engine tuned up feel like my horse has just got younger.

 

though i must say for close to 5.5 lacs tht i paid to maruti they gave me the cheapest possible plastic interiors and lot of vibrations in bumpers and window.

the vehicle is still gr8 and fantastic ; though a bit sluggish compared to new super powers but yeah  no power is enough for a man ...

summarizing ; all you esteem loves ; dont sell your good horse yet !!!!!

you never know maruti might come back with it  some thing bigger powerful yet similar !!!

Exterior Good looks from outside, a complete pacage.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) JUst needed features,, back seets are quite broad & better space, but fron seets are very low on seating which is the only draw back in this complete car.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent  engine, 19kmpl mileage & good gearbox.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Very good.

 

Final Words A dream car for any one.car can take you anywhere where you want to go without any inspection of engine parts.this car is everready, allrounder.  I may purchase new car, but will use esteem as dependable for any drive. in Nov `10, I have driven this car for 851 km at a stretch without any fuss. I have already completed 70000 km on this car driven across all terrain of India from fast & Busy Pune, mumbai roods to  Gujarat, rajsthan, delhi Must have car with you. Driven at 140 kmph  and also at5 kmph.

Its a great city & highway car with highest satisfaction. low on service costs, high on returns comapered to any car in this category. Company must relaunch this car both in Petrol ,CNG & Diesel version.

 

Areas of improvement Low seat. can be improved upon.

Exterior Good Style and Body line.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seats are compfartble.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pick up is very Good, Gear shift is smooth, NVH Levels are also very Low, Very googd for Long runs. I hve travelled on the worst roads in my village/native place.

Fuel economy 15 to 16 in city, 18 to 20 on Highways.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent, Very good control even at high speeds. Stable breaking even at above 100KLPH speed even though it doesn'nt have ABS. I have came across situations of breaking at above 100KMPL Speed but car did not skid and maintained a stright positions on the road, I had travelled more than 500Kms/day many times and highest speed of 140KMPL. (Nashik Aurangabad in 2Hours 35Minutes).

Final Words Esteem never laid me down in any situations; Highly reliable, Suspension is also excellent, Very good for bad or rough roads.

Areas of improvement As the model is discontinued no point to write in this column. Low seating should be modified, Leg room at back seating is very less.

Its a awsm car.. i love it more than any thing for her pickup , road grip nd a home like comfort , easy to drive on traffic , have a lot of short pickup , very low maintanance , easy to repair in any where. Just drive a esteem in mint condition nd me sure u will fall in love ...... .

Exterior Superb sporty looks, beautiful front grill & superb tail lamps

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Adquate features in its class, superb space with most comfortable seats , Beautifully designed dash board along with option to upgrade the music system. Smooth steering will gives tiredless driving on long drives. Great stability at higher speed. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Superb engine with great fuel economy & smoothest gear box, one will love to drive this vehicle because of sports car driving experience. I also love its sound when ever we take higher pich-ups. Sounds like a real sports car used in rallies.

Ride Quality & Handling Easy to handle & lovely ride quality, I should say that once ony one drive this car will never like any other car. I believe no one can challenge esteem with any other indian brand
