Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious, decent, bright, comfortable, specially for rear seat passengers.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Enough power, do not expect a racing car Or performance car, good power for a family sedan, Satisfactory power, 12 to 15 implies, Automatic.

Ride Quality & Handling Steering not coming back to center like true power steering. Brand new car, facing problem since day 1, dealer and Maruti denying the problem. Unsafe and uncomfportable to drive. Hand and neck starts paining within 20 minutes of drive.

Final Words Do not purchase Unless taken a drive of car being delivered to you. Be very careful. 

Areas of improvement Maruti Suzuki should recall the cars and solve the steering problem than deleting negative reviews from internet. Dealer has been harrasing over the issue, not ready to replace the steering or car, very badly handled case. I am in contact with customers who have faced same problem and been denied solution by Maruti Suzuki and dealer. Something big is cooking. May be afraid of recalling cars and admitting problem. Safety issue.

Pros: Great Value for Money Good Sound System Average Gas Mileage (AT Petrol) Good Looks Good Size Interior Space Comfortable Seats Decent Power for City Driving Nice Length makes the car look more luxurious. Great on Potholes and Rough Roads Buying Experience - above average Service Experience - above average Cons Materials are not great (Plastics, Sheet Metal seem thin) Terrible Turning Radius Finishes are below Average The top end car lacks features that should be standard. Cruise Control, Power Adjustable Front Seats, Electric Moonroof . Headlights are sub standard and do not do a good job lighting up the road when dark.

Firstly maruti has no intrest in customer satisfaction, it safe gaurds the dealers intrest, money is religion of maruti. I suggest you go TATA, Toyota or honda much better in responding to problem. True Value of maruti is fraud you can check in car wale also customers have buying and selling cars because they keep customers in dark. I had a bitter experience with RKS Saboo hyderabad i sold my car in 2012 in true value, true value sold it some anti national element lately i came to know that ownership of the car not changed till date. Neither head office nor dealer resposnding i am facing enquires for my old car. Please dont buy ir sell anything from true value its not authenticated you will land up in problems.. Go for other options as a whole maruti is useless company.

To start with it's a wonderful car. Before buying in march2016 I have gone through all the 8 competitors in the same segment. When compared with exterior,interior, cabin noise,fuel efficiency,driving comfort it's above all. Yes the only defect it's too fragile mileage is 21_22 in city&25 in long ride

It's really a good car, good exterior and interior, very spacious from inside. The only problem I have is that Maruti claims fuel economy of 28 km/ltr on its diesel variant where as it's actually giving somewhere around 18 km/ltr( which is not bad at all but I am against the false claim by the co.). Overall it's a good car has a Suzuki brand name so the resale value will be good and low maintenance.

I have always been a Die hard Maruti Suzuki Fan. All the 6 variants I have purchased earlier are Suzuki. I am still maintaining a 1997 Esteem 1000 CC tip top. I have decided to keep it as a Vintage Car. It's becoming difficult to get the spares. But still managing as the Car is maintained by Varun Motors, Visakhapatnam. 7 months back I purchased the Ciaz (Alpha) top end petrol version which is my 7th Suzuki purchase. All my vehicles are only Petrol version. I always recommend by family and friends to purchase only Suzuki and have been always successful in convincing them.

The car is excellent, be its space, interior, music system, and of course its mileage. As maruti, the maintenance cost also is very low. The only problem I face till today its head-lighting, I feel it should have been more illuminating. The sound system from bosch is excellent. There is no complain from that depatment.

Exterior I bought the car in Dec 2017 and I am extremely disappointed with the car after driving it for two months.

My biggest complaint is about the driver side door. I have to literally bang it every time to close it. A normal swing of the door does not close the door and you may be swinging it multiple times normally before banging the door closed in anger. :(

I am told this is an issue faced by lots of Ciaz Owners. So please watch out before you buy. 

The front grille is boring and old looking, a bane of all Maruthi cars. Lacks artistry. The rear is good looking; has an uncanny resemblance to the Honda City's rears. And it appears that the Swift Dzire and the Ciaz share the same rears. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Cons first: Plastics at the bottom on both sides running along the length of the car underneath the doors and the workmanship are of poor quality. The joints between the plastics don't close properly and one piece projects out. You have to be careful getting out of the car not to get hurt hitting the projected plastic and not to break the plastics as well.

Secondly the AC is disappointing. I think it is undepowered on a 1.4 L engine and you feel warm even in Dec/Jan (winter months). Am just worried about the prospects for the summer. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is nothing to write home about. Compared to claims of 18 KMPL etc, I think on road fuel economy is around 12 KMPL. In these days of ever climbing petrol prices, this is a rip-off.

Final Words Disappointed with the car compared to the excitement that I had before purchase and during the first couple of days of purchase.

Exterior Very European styling, sleek design to look at. Something that would not look outdated anytime soon.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious, comfortable and gives an upmarket feel. Good quality material has been used by the company. The cabin is rather silent considering that we drive on bad roads and traffic. The ac is powerful and the ac vents at back really help in making the cabin cool effectively and efficiently. The infotainment system is user friendly although a little slow. The instrument panel on the dash board is ergonomically placed. Easy to read and decipher. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Petrol version is extremely silent, agile and a great pickup. The fuel economy is reasonable for a mid size car. Very smooth change of gears, the gear stick is well placed and doesn’t tire your hands. Gear ratio is well established and does not require frequent shifting.

Ride Quality & Handling Extremely comfortable and the vehicle responds well to evasive maneuver.

Final Words Must have car under 10L. 

Areas of improvement Could inmrove the power of the car.
