Exterior

 Even though its not an impressive model, its not bad too. tail gate have been well designed and its shows lots of difference from the old alto. front look too good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interior is much better than old alto. dash board plastic is little better when compare with old alto. however the rear seats are still cramped.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The F8D Engine is doing well. As Torque and BHP is slightly increased, i didnt find any difficulty during the initial time. thanks for maruti engineers.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality is quiet impressive, suspension has lots of improvement and shows lots of difference from the old alto.

Final Words

 When compare with Eon the new alto 800 is very far from. but the rate is much better and its value for money

Good Pick up , Mileage, StyleNo Central Lock, Music System

It's not a dream car but Alto will not disappoint you. This is a smooth driving experience. Main point is milage. Almost 2.5k per year maintenance. For most affordable stylish car is definitely Alto.

Alto is best car for me. I bought it from my friend. And it's mileage is best. It is good for small town. And for daily updown. It's comfortable with small family. Ilove my car very much.

my alto lxi aug. 2014 model , i run my car above 42000kms , no problem in car , low maintenance cost , I hav run my car continuously for 800 k.m. , 2 or 3 times besides stoping for tea and lunch, best car in small seagment , easy driving

This car is value for money car, only one thing maruti should improve its body, alto 800 body is very weak even a small hit can give a dent on the body, fuel economy is good, comfort of this car is on an average.

Riding experience is good. Need more features as other small cars provided for better experience. It is affordable or minimum cost for servicing and maintenance. It's look is good and performs better.

Exterior Looks good, I got my new car on April 13th and this is my first car. Excellent car and value for money. Right care for City ride. 😵

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space and interior. but poor plastic in doors side. Two color interior is nice.😎

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Nice, 😉. Good pickup in the singal and while starting.

Ride Quality & Handling Cute and compact.

Exterior: I felt Eon and Kwid more apppealing(looks) but 'Appearances are often deceptive'.  Alto 800 2016 has improved a lot in looks. I chose Alto 800 as Practicality was the prime concern.  I added crome so that it looked better.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The 796cc car is for small trips hence boot space is sufficient. If one knows the art of packing the luggage, space is enough(need good bags-like American tourister,sky). I fold the rear seat and could carry coconuts(around 70) :-)
Boot space, storage and features are better in Eon and Kwid. But car is for commuting and in that Alto 800 is the best.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Suspension is good; gear shift are smooth; It has a decent fuel economy 18-20kpl.

Ride Quality & Handling: The Car to run primarily on roads and carry 4-5 passengers. Good handling. steering is responsive, good ride quality. During rany season in the bad streches of roads the low graound clearance was a clearance(also in hill areas). In the over all driving experience found ALTO 800 the BEST choice in the price range.

Final Words IF LOOKS, boot space is the focus this is not the choice. But for me car was for transporting people without spending much on it. It is a reliable car and the spare parts availabilty, cost of ownership makes it a better package. Car(any) can't be said as a an asset(in true sence); Alto 800 has least depreciation over the years.

Areas of improvement More luggage space 200l minimum,increase internal storage(1 or 2 bottle holders), increase ground clarance.
