Maserati displays updated Quattroporte and Ghibli at the 2016 Paris Motor Show

Maserati has unveiled refreshed versions of the Quattroporte and Ghibli at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

Power has seen an increase in both saloons that use the 3.0-litre bi-turbo V6, and they now make 350bhp which is a bump up by 20bhp. Maserati claims that the top speed of the Quattroporte now stands at 270kmph, and can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 5.5sec. On the Ghibli, this update helps it accomplish the dash to 100kmph in a similar 5.5sec before attaining a top speed of 267kmph.

Both the Quattroporte and the Ghibli now sport a redesigned dashboard which features an 8.4-inch infotainment system with multi-touch that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Maserati added that both cars have improved insulation and are much quieter in the cabin. New safety features include the surround view camera and the ‘Advanced Driver Assistance System’ which uses a combination of adaptive cruise control, blind spot alert, forward collision warning with brake assist, and lane departure warning.

Additionally, the updated Ghibli gets the option of two packages called Luxury and Sport. While Luxury makes the interiors feel more premium through the use of an upgraded leather, Sport is a more aggressive packaging that has performance oriented seats, a new steering wheel, and carbon fibre trim.
