Exterior:
The Kia Carens measures 4,540mm in length and has a 2,780mm wheelbase, which is longer than that of the Seltos by 170mm. Appearance-wise, it gets LED daytime running lights, LED headlamps, LED rear lights, and LED fog lamps. However, no changes have been made to the silhouette of this seven-seater MPV.
Interior:
The interior gets a dual-tone theme, and depending on the variant, it comes with black and beige or Triton Navy and beige interior. Apart from that, the cabin features front-seat ventilation, multi-function steering, digital driver’s display, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, eight-speaker Bose sound system, 64-colours ambient lighting, wireless charger, and electronically foldable middle-row seats for easier third-row access.
With the introduction of the Prestige+(O) trim, the model comes loaded with a sunroof along with an LED map lamp and room lamp. On the other hand, the Prestige(O) variants offer six- or seven-seating capacity options, smart key with push-button start, LED DRL, shark fin antenna, burglar alarm, and an eight-inch digital audio system.

Under the hood, the updated Carens is available with 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. The transmission duties are taken care of by a six-speed manual, six-speed iMT, six-speed automatic, and a seven-speed DCT unit. Notably, the six-speed manual transmission can now also be had with the diesel engine.

- Carens- The Recreational Vehicle1. Booked 7 DCT 1.5T Petrol Prestige Plus (O) recently (11-April 20024) and overall experience is great. Sales guys are pretty knowledgeable and able to satisfy all the queries. 2. Driven this DCT version and its peppy, quick, stable, silent cabin (no engine noise or vibrations etc.), no lagging of power when need to pick it up after stand still at stop signals or transitioning from slow to medium to high speed. Clearly felt turbo engine prowess. By the way, we are 4 guys (adults) inside car during driving. 3. This is surely not a competition to MPV segment like Ertiga, XL6, etc., it has its own league way above the rest in competition. Carens is RV (Recreational Vehicle). Cabin is awesome and futuristic, ergonomically placed all features. Seating positioning particularly third row seat and its comfort and over all ride quality is awesome. Road Presence is fantastic, surely a head turner. Vehicle appears small from outside, but cabin space generated inside is felt really big and comfortable for a 7 seater vehicle. Pros: Overall Value for Money Cons: 360 Deg Parking Camera, Rear Camera on OVRM (Co-Driver side) for changing lanes, Hybrid Engine and CNG option (may be) for Taxi Segment mindset.Rating parameters(out of 5)5

Average in the city depends but still I get 10-12 but when I travel frequently to Pune , I get 22 - 27. But recently after 15 months of purchasing and driven around 8900 kms I got an alert of Diesel fuel filter regeneration. I drove at a speed of 65 km/h for around 20 mins and the alert went off & next day car was picked up by the dealer for necessary action.Rating parameters(out of 5)5

- The Everyday Adventure CarThe kia carens prestige model made quite an impression as a family vehicle. The features are very impressive. it's a city champion with light steering and a fuel efficient engine. The cabin feels premium for the price. Driving is also very comfortable . Servicing seems affordable so far. Overall , its a a great option for families who what space and a value. pros Power windows( All Doors) , comfortable seats , touch screen display , parking camera, charging ports. corns c type ports instead of usb type, mileage is less it can be better at this price , power folding mirrors are missing.Rating parameters(out of 5)4

The engine's a little under powered given the size of the car. Good highway vehicle. It has one of the most useable 3rd row. My kids love the car.
