Exterior - Its got that the catchy look which will attract others on road. I have a Wine red Car and the Black Strips at the Drops just adds to its Beauty.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

I believe this is the USP of Xcent. You name it and you will have almost all the features in it from Electronic mirrors,Fogs lamps, Loaded Music System etc. I have a middle variant and only thing which I believe is missing is the Magwheels. In terms of Space I believe Hyundai could have a worked a bit more in rear Seats, As I believe 5 ppl can fit easily but its more comfortable for 4 ppl. Driver + 1 on Front and 2 in Rear Seats. Ample amount of Boat Space you can simply carry your world in this kind of Boat Space where you go.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Engine is Smooth like Butter. Have driven almost 12,000 Kms within a Span of 1 year and have driven to Hilly areas,rough roads,Villages and its still Performs like its just out of the Showroom. Havent measured the economy yet but by the frequency refuelling it I can make out it gives a nice 17 to 18 Km/L.

 

Ride Quality & Handling

Its gives you a smooth ride and also has good suspension to ride on offroad conditions.

Small turning radius as well because of its Compactness. Best in its class

 

Final Words

Finally will only just say one thing - "If this is going to be your First Car and you are looking for Sedan Styled plus you are on a Budget, this is the one for you. "

Areas of improvement  

 Rear AC vents could be worked upon

 

Best possible Style and Power packed Engine put together.Best in Compact Sedan Segment.Rear AC vents is just above Average it could have been better.

Exterior Being the addition on Grandi10 the front looks are not new. From Back side Hyundai has really invested good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Lot many features which you can find in the top model of Grand i10 but not in any other car of the same compact sedan segment. You will not find all the below features in one car like foldable and auto close side mirrors, rear ac vents, extra boot space, boot light lamp, driver seat adjustable, glove box cooling, parking sensors, bluetooth phone, etc.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is optimal for the power & fuel economy and Gearbox is easy to handle. Hyundai has taken out the max power from engine and to give max fuel economy as what else can you expect more from the 1.1 capacity.

I took the test drive of the diesel car and found a bit less powered as compared to the Grand i10 diesel.

Ride Quality & Handling You may feel the suspensions not that great but the handling is relaxing on city roads.

Final Words A superior car than Amaze and Dzire. Good to go and book it, since people already know the performance of Grand i10.

Areas of improvement Wheel base should be increased to get more leg rrom & space, interior color, quality of seats in material and comfort.

FEATURES, FUEL ECONOMYBit Compact, Power in Diesel

Hyundai Xcent comes with 1.2 litre petrol engine and it produces a good power. It has a powerful engine, and very smooth driving experience. It is fully loaded with all the comforts, a middle class family needs and wants.

Exterior Hyundai has maintained its fluidic concept from the front side, Overall from lookwise Xcent scores 8/10, Alloy wheels & chrome finish adds to the looks of the car.Only limitation is with the colour availablity.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This is the real place where it leaves a impression the quality of plastic is good biege & black colour is a perfect combination, bluetooth in audio system makes cell phone handling very easy, all controls of audio are on the steering wheel

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gears are smooth, I have purchased SX optional Diesel version, the cabin is very quiet will not be able to feel the noise or vibrations of the engine.Mileage is not confirmed but will definitely be good as on the first day i drove 350 Km & diesel is still more than half the tank.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is smooth amongst its class, overtaking is comfaortanble, the vehicle is good for speeds upto 100 to 110, after that it gets a bit sluggish although i didnt tried much as its a new engine.

Final Words Good value for money & a new look on the road, it will definitely take its market share.

Areas of improvement Colour availability should be improved.

Interiors & HandlingBack look to be improved

After much research I opted for Xcent Diesel and now feel the decision was perfectly OK. Compared AND TEST DRIVE Aamaze ,Dzire, Zest.

Though 1.2 ltr engine was a backward pulling factor compared to rest in segment,xcent stands ahead.Trust me u wont feel such power difference.

Amaze- Bad interior, Noisy engine.

Zest- Buidl quality less, user ownership experience is bad

Dzire- 

Exterior Smart looks -on par with Segment standard. I own the RED Passion colour which is Striking and trendy.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Okay. Ahead on segment. Instrument cluster needs a full redesign esp grpahics-ok..but not superb.MID is pathetic.Why a Trip meter,Avg trip meter?-No uses this yaar. Provide time to empty/dist to empty instead.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Power an be tuned more.Feels less power at times.Once turbo is up,power will surge but needs more refinement.Satidfactory milege - not a market leader.

Gear shifting is commentable and smooth.

With ACTown 17kmpl Highways 18 to 19kmpl.

Ride Quality & Handling Totally smooth drive, Handling is also perfect.

Final Words ABSOLUTE value for Moneyy. Worth the value proposition esp budget is considered.

Areas of improvement Rework needed on widthwise..Power needs to be improved.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfort in summers is very poor - AC does not cause enough cooling.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Absolutely poor.

Final Words I was lied to about the milage by the saleperson when buying the car.

For the last two years my son has been driven to college by a competent and professional driver for a distance of approx 50 KM for 5 days a week on the highway.

In spite of 90 % of the distance being on the highway, the Hyundai Excent car gives milage of average 10 KM per litre of [petrol. I feel completely cheated by Hyundai for having purchased this car.

Areas of improvement Please do tell your salepersons NOT TO LIE ABOUT THE MILAGE OF THIS CAR. I doubt whether I will ever buy a Hyundai car again because of the fact that I felt so cheated and lied to. My experience is based on 2 years / 21000 KM usage. Really a very poor car, definetly a money drainer on fuel.

I have Hyundai xcent vtvt s. this car is good for middle class family. My experience is very good. I had use last four year, Best in this segment. Zero maintenance car. Engine is good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Xcent has nice interior and spacing , in build music system performs well. Reverse parking sensor doesn't seems working properly it will alerts even if there no object. I bought S.12, even in that bluetooth connection and phone call feature are there. Xcent A/C is very good and makes the car cabin a very comfortable. Extra foot space gives comfort for long drive 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

I am bit worried about performance, engine is not powerful. There is a issue on changing geer into second, that is not smooth. Xcent gives 13~14kmpl economy on driving , and hyundai told it  ~19. 

Ride Quality & Handling

Riding quality is good in city.  ABS braking is very smooth .The ride quality of the car is not very absorbent and bad patches of road do filter in, the suspension is a bit on the stiffer side, otherwise its pretty comfortable

 classy interiors with loaded features , and no sound at all inside the cabin which i liked so much , also the boot space inside is quite sufficient.Although i feel the vehicle can be made just a bit more wider than what it is to give a bit extra comfort.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine is awesome n superb for city driving , butter smooth gear shifts r awesome. I drove some 2300kms by now and i really love the engine and the sweet sound which it makes in 90s. The fuel economy what i am getting is about 14km with ac on always in city.

Ride Quality & Handling

The quality of ride is as good as any higher segment sedans and i really enjoyed inside the cabin. Only thing i feel is suspension can be a bit better than what it is and also the fog lights are quite dim although no issues with headlamps.

But one thing what i really miss is lack of automatic central locking in S1.2O MODEL. It should be the basic feature.

Overall i recommend to buy this car for people who want luxury and driving comfort on city roads.
