I have driven this car 12000 Kms bought from Superon Hyundai, Sector-37, Gurgaon

Exterior

The exteriors are really good, the design is clean & attractive

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Interior feels premium, the cabin is well insulated so very less engine noise as compared to its rivals, space is good but less if compared to City, offers a comfortable ride on highways but not on potholes

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Turbo lag is there till 1900 RPM but once this mark is crossed the engine shows its great capability. Fuel economy depends on driving style in hours of jam just like during Diwali season :D it can go as less as 10. In city like gurgaon where roads are full of potholes and require frequent downshifts the average could be around 14, wheares on open highways it goes 20+. Clutch and Gear both are smooth to use

Ride Quality & Handling

Steering is smooth but feedback is less. Handling is good but not great due to hyundai's not so good suspension

Final Words

Both the car & the company are since long time in Indian market with very good image. Verna is a good car that can be used for every type of commuting. The best part of this car is the 1.6 CRDI engine, just downshift and see the boost of power. Initially I faced a problem of sound from suspension but as soon I contacted the dealership they get it repaired within 30 mins as it was a minor case after that I have driven my car 7000kms that sound is permanently gone. Hyundai has offered me very good after sales service till now.

Areas of improvement  

According to me no car in this world is perfect.

But still I want Hyundai to improve suspension and braking

 

 

Exterior, Interior, Ergonomics, PerformanceBraking, Suspension

Exterior Just a facelifted verna with some road presence.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I the top end version. it still lacks a 2-Din screen/stereo but has all the options like bluetooth, aux etc. Space is ok for a mid size sedan and comfort is above average with so less road noise and a premium feel

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Petes tuned elantra ECU so my performance is outstanding... Its not a regular verna anymore. This is a must modification and 40000INR is totally worth it. Have managed to get an average of 17KMPL city+highway with a performance ECU. Ofcourse you have to compensate some fuel economy for the performance but you drive like an old person, it will manage 20kmpl easily.

Ride Quality & Handling 7.5/10

Final Words I had a really good deal so its worth every penny I paid for.

Areas of improvement Its a 2015. Ofcourse it must have been improved in the latest verssions. Mine doesnt have a 2-DIN. Rear view camera is on the rear view mirror instead of a screen. Rear styling must be improved/facelifted. It still loooks like an ordinary verna.

Buying experience was not too good but ok But the riding the car was fantastic it also have good features in it which have helped me to drive the car its service and maintenance cost is even little bit of high but let it be its fantastic car in diesel variant is making engine noise so it can be doen more better and even iam going to buy the new verna of 2018

Hyundai Verna is one of favourite car from many years. I bought this car for mostly city driving and some short highway drive. As per looks is almost same as the new elentra. I am getting very good mileage around 20 kmpl on highways and aroung 15 to 17 on city. One of the favourite features of the new verna is the ventilated seats and the infotainment system. Seats are also decent. I recently done the annuall service of the car. I am really very happy with my purchase.

I think it is best sedan under 20 lakh. In my opinion this car should given awards for its features and look. Compared to the look Verma is best among all sedan under 20 lakh. So it is a cool car.

Nice car, always gives great feeling while driving . i was using verna from last 5 years and i done around 1 lac kilometers . Aftr 1 lac giving nice response. Engine is working good. Nice car thank you Hyundai

Not one of the ...this is best ever value for money and worth too...extraordinary seating and road comfort ...steering wheels like excellent ..am using my one finger to drive the car ...fabulous riding feel ...strongly recommended to buy this beauty ...feel something class
