Exterior Attrractive bold looks and good styling.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious, comfortable seats, high performance ac.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent pick up, Fuel economy moderate, gear change feels a bit hard.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very comfortable and stable.

 

Final Words I took delivery of New Verna 1.6 VTVT SX (Silver) on 22 nd May . The over all performance of the car is very good. The car has lots of electronics viz, electric controlled side mirrors, reverse camera and sensors, automatic climate control ac, digital display on dash board with numerous options, USB, air bags, good quality CD/MP3 player.

The ride is smooth and comfortable, performed excellent on ghat roads on my recent trip.  The car has an excellent engine and pick up is terrific. Very low on engine noise. Big 16" tyres offer stable handling. Good ground clearance.

 

Areas of improvement Travelled about 800 km , Fuel economy was moderate may be around 13 - 14 kmpl. Gear shifting could have been smoother. Though head room for tall people (5'10") was adequate, ingress and exgress was not upto mark and feels difficult.

 Having lot of attachement interface like USB, I-Pod Dock system, In-built decent sound system, with very comfort for passenger and with ABS, EPSD, AIR bag and Automatic climate control

 Engine performance is very good and Fule economy is 12.5 - 14.5 Km/l and smooth gear engagement with minimal noise

Ride Quality & Handling

 Here i felt very bad about new verna. This verna looking sporty but,really not built for it. Too soft rear suspension. At high speed the car gets bounce a lot sometimes out of control. It has power to roar upto 200 Km/Hr speed. But, with the suspension this car really not built for the high speed. At high speed if it hits a small bump it bounces really hard and you will lose control over the vehicle. At times you feel hope less. I experienced more often with this car. Couple of time at lower speed say around 50 Km/Hr it hits a hump and no reason it bouces up and down and went mad. And another incident with the speed of 150 Km/Hr it hits a small bumb and oscillates heaviely and luckily we had a control over the vehicle and bring back it to track. Need to be safe only with the bump. If no bump means you can rely this car. Since, the rear suspension is too soft. Poor suspension design.

Final Words

 Overall good mleage, sporty and stunning look and value for money not built for high speed because of the poor suspension system in rear 

Areas of improvement  

 poor suspension system in rear and must be stable at higher speed. This car giving up safety at   higher speed say above 120 Km/Hr

This is writing for all of you who wants or desire to have purchase any vehicle of Hyundai. I have very bitter experiences of Hyundai Vehicles. I purchased Auto I 10 for my sister, after one month the steering became hard and some problem with sparking plugs. I reported to service center Down Town Vadodara (six months before). No improvement was done. Only sparking plug was replaced. I spoke to them they say we have rectified the problem. Then I approved there service engineer based Ahmedabad. He assured me that I will arrange pick your vehicle from your residence, but as of now no one has come. 2. I purchased Verna seven months before from beginning I am facing problem with brakes. I met to small accident because same reason. I followed same procedure regarding service no one paid attention. Now situation has come that both vehicles are lying at my home. I have decided to come court now because I have spend 17 lacs on vehicles. I am middle class guy this money matter. I have decided to court now. I brought my white fiancy Verna VTVT 1.6 SX on 3rd June 2013. Now I am using Verna VTVT 1.6 SX since more than 1.5 years. I drove morethan 21000 km so far. I must say it's good car. Good looking, spacious ( C segment), silent cabin, good engine performance & real comfort while driving. Really its worth for money I spent. I had completed all three paid services. Till date there is no maintenance cost. Service was free (hardly 2000 rs for consumables). I am getting 16+ milage on Express ways & 13 kmpl in city+colony.  The pick up of car is amazing...It gives noiselss journy even at 140+ speed without any jerk.

Considering the traffice & parking congestions, front parking sensor+camera may be thought on. It will be really usefull to add this feature.

Service from Sharyu Hyundai, Turbhe is very good & supportive. The Service Manager Mr. Shakeel is really very cooperative.

I think one should expect not more than this.

If you want car within 10 L budget, Verna VTVT 1.6SX is the best one....go ahead.

Exterior Impressive Exterior.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good. Some features are unique in its class.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Poorest performance. Gives only around 10 Kms/ Lit in City driving. Around 12 Kms on Highway. Please remove the average of 17.01 Km that you are showing on Car Wale.com. It is misleading and I decided to buy Verna because of this. Had I known the average is 10, I would definitely have not bought it. It is absolutely Inefficient Car and the Concerned Authorities should ban the sale of such Fuel Inefficient Car!! Have driven for around 2500 Kms and am amzed to see this kind of performance. The Hyundai Service Centre themselves confirm that the average of 10 is what is to be expected!!! How come you are showing 17 Km?? For this kind of class of car, this is very very low. Even my old Honda City was giving me around 14 km!!
