Hyundai has been a great car manufacturer in India. It has very good value cars launched in India with the introduction of Santro. I think Hyundai has a great value product for each type of customer. 

HYUNDAI VERNA is just fabulous. The 1.5L CRDi VGT engine is just crazy. You just have to have to press the throttle and the engine really performs, one can feel the thrust it generates. in fact, it just pushes you back. It has a nice shaped body, giving it a nice European look.

According to me, the car lacks in good features and interiors. I feel the interiors are a bit too old fashioned. The dual tone interior is just ok, not great.

Overall, Verna is a great value car as t gives you a thrilling experience driving it and also good mileage.

 Perfect. One I have parked my new car on the road side. I could see people looking at the car which makes me feel that exterior is great.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Good, but can be improved with better audio, steering music control etc.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Much better than my expectation. My car has run 6000+ km & is giving 15-16 kmpl in Delhi. I have target for 17-18. Lets see how it perform.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Good. Needs to test in highway. but feels that i will perform better in highway than on city roads. Young people who wants to feel power will like it most.

 Music system needs improvement. Further top end comes with 4 alloy wheels. must be upgraded to 5 alloy wheels. Existing customer must have option to upgrade 5th wheel at reasonable cost say 4-5K

Exterior A VERY GOOD HI FI LOOK. WHICH MAKE OTHERS LOOK AT THE VEHICLE WITH ADORATION.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) INTERIOR COLOUR IS NICE AND ATTRACTIVE. A CAR WITH TEN LAKHS. GOOD ENOUGH. AIR CONDITIONER IS AVERAGE. MUSIC SYSTEM IS GOOD ENOUGH.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox INITIAL PICK UP IS LESS AND THE GEAR HAS TOBE SHIFTED FOR OVER TAKING. IT IS VERY EASY TO SHIFT THE GEARS.

Ride Quality & Handling HANDLING IS VERY EASY. FANTASTIC BRAKES WHICH MAKES THE VERNA TO HALT ON THE SPOT.

Final Words NO DOUBT COMPARING WITH ANY OTHER SEDAN OF THIS RANGE. VERNA STANDS FAR PEAKER & HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER VEHICLE. IF ANY ONE HAS BOOKED ANY OTHER VEHICLE. IT IS HIGH TIME YOU CANCELLED THAT BOOKING AND GO FOR A NEW FLUIDIC VERNA. YOU WILL NEVER EVER REGRET FOR THIS FANTASTIC DECISION.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox        best refined diesel engine with class leading power of 128 ps  leaves the compitition far behind to name some vento just 102 ps , scoda same engine too 102 ps, etios just 68 ps nisan sunny with just78 ps 

you cant hear verna,s diesel engine on road it can put so many petrol engines on shame on power and NVH levels 

 

 

Ride Quality & Handling              i have driven it 3000 kM, steering is very responssive lot of hue and cry i have heard from analysts about high speed handling i should tell it is fabulous even at speeds exceeding 130km/h just drive it yourself you will forget any car

Final Words I had owned Alto, I had test driven almost all the cars Swift, Ritz, Dzire, Polo, Vento, Rapid, Ertiga, Honda Jazz, I20, Verna, except for Vento, I20 & Verna, I didn't like any of the cars on drive comfort, though Vento is Good, you have to buy highend with high cost, if you would like to all the options, the base & mid version of Vento, is just stupid by paying such a high cost, u would not get any features, whereas Verna EX, has most of the options and SX is a beauty, the Car Zooms just like that, if you are a good driver you can expect a good mileage, I'm getting 14Km in city, the ground clearance is also pretty good with soft suspension, the dealer is also good, I bought the car in Hosur Road Trident, small suggestion, pls dont' ever go for Petrol.

Areas of improvement I had a very bad experience on car delivery, the car was having some breaking issue which I faced on the day one, many times, it was not moving, but the dealer helped me in getting the same rectified within 2days of the delivery, the dealers has to check the car before delivery in all aspects, including the fuel.

Exterior Its got a classy exterior,you will definately get bowled over.Its got the looks of a sports car,hyundai has done a great job.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It comes with a spacious interior,though the back seat is slightly uncomfortable for three,the rear seats are slightly lowerly placed.It comes with oodles of features like reverse sensors,camera,bluetooth,steering mounted controls & ofcourse the chilled glove box for the price that they are offering.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its got enormous power under the hood,just the foot on the accelerator the car vrooms,but with an average fuel economy.

Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is excellent in city conditions,and even the car handling is great on highways,suspensions are slightly soft and can get hit under belly on large speed breakers.

Final Words Overall an amazing car.

Areas of improvement The Suspensions needs to be worked upon.The milage needs to slightly improve,High speeds the steering feels a little lighter.

I am writing to you as a highly unsatisfied Hyundai car Owner.

I recently purchased a Fluidic Verna 1.6crdi SX model from M/s. Venkatesh Auto Wheels India Pvt ltd, dealership in Jaunpur, UP. From the date of car delivery we have been complaining to the dealer about the noise and jerks felt in the shockers and suspension of the car which is very unlikely for a new car. We wanted our car changed, however the dealer assured the noise would become fine once the car would run a few kilometers. On much follow up with the dealer the front shockers have been changed as per the requirement expressed by the service manager at Venkatesh against our demand of changing the car. Inspite of the change the noise and jerks did not become alright whereas increased every day. We again demanded the car to be changed, however this time with an additional problem,  even the steering of the car started shivering on speed over 100kms/hr along with jerks being felt on the steering during bad roads. Again some other part was changed assuring us that the car would be absolutely fine with the change in some steering part. Recently I have developed a severe lower back pain due to the discomfort felt while travelling in the car. Since yesterday my car has started emitting black smoke from the exhaust pipe. Even further the ABS of the car works worse than a Bicycle brake. I have to press the brake pedal very hard for the brakes to apply!

I now feel that I was given a car which was assembled from second hand parts & presented with a new body! It is ridiculous how a new car can have so many problems. I have also driven another new model of the same car which has absolutely no problem at all.  I have now lost all patience and would like to complain with the consumer grievance cell, India. I feel cheated buying such an expensive car & would really appreciate if you could get in touch with me to resolve this problem.

I would like Hyundai to replace my car with a new one as the car given to me has been faulty right from day one and the problems have only increased in the period of 6 months.

I await your reply seeking fair solution to this.

DesignAfter sales service, suspensions, steering, balance, comfort...list goes on..

I have been driving the new fludic verna for over a year now and have done around 24k kms. The car is just good in terms of looks, pick-up and features. Else quality of ride, suspensions and shock absorbers are the worst in not only the segment but across segments. I used to own a Maruti 800 some 20 yrs back, the ride of that car was far better than that of this new car.

My family feels giddy when they are sitting in the back seat.

Even in the speed of 20kms if I go over some small pot holes, the kind of noise the suspension makes, all vehicles around me get scared thinking that some accident has taken place.

There are constant loud 'thud' sounds from the front shock absorbers at almost all pot holes/bad rodes which exists all over Mumbai.

When contacted the dealer for service (Modi Huyndai) through my lease company, all I was told that this is a common problem in all Verna's and they are unable to correct the issue.

I am just waiting to complete the 2 years of the lease and then return this shitty car back.

Looks & FeaturesWorst suspensions, horrible shock absorbers.

Exterior Stylish with the trendy look and also gives sporty look with the dual silencer. It looks so beautiful on road.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Driving is pleasure and the front passenger seating is very spacious which is actually good when a senior citizen travels. Rear space is good with sufficient comfort.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performs good but it goes makes a little noice when we drive in 1st & 2nd gear. Gives a definite mileage of 15kms with a/c in the city and 22kms in highway drive. Gearbox is too good when moving faster and it is little strucking when we change from 1st to 2nd.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is awesome and Riding quality is fantastic.

Final Words Its an awesome vehicle to drive and worth for money. I LOVE MY FLUIDIC VERNA 1.6 EX

Areas of improvement We agree that the diesel engines will make some noice but you can improve more on it though it is making less noice compared to many other vehicles.
