    • Disadvantages of hyndai factory-fitted CNG

      Dear All,

      I have been using i10-magna with factory-fitted CNG for over four years now (42000 km).  I have had a number of minor issues with CNG fitting over these four years.  Most frequent ones being mis-firing (especially during rainy season), problems with switching to CNG mode.  A major constraint is lack of technically skilled manpower in hyundai showrooms.  All service centers invariably have just one CNG technician who visits the showroom once or twice a week and you have to make time as per his schedule!!!  While these guys are trained in routine tune-up and minor issues they do not have training or infrastructure for any major CNG repair. 

      I now have a major problem with my CNG kit and I get to know that there is only one service center in the entire NCR which can diagnose and repair this and it is in Mathura Road.  I could not believe that in this age of globalization, car companies have created a monopoly in their CNG kits and its servicing.  Imagine somebody living in Gurgaon has to take the car all the way to Mathura road to get it serviced!!! This service center works five and half days a week and they pretty much advice you to not come on Saturdays at all!!! Therefore, you loose a working day to fix your car unless you have a driver!

      Hyundai and perhpas many car dealers are fooling people by selling company-fitted kits at exhorbitant price without adquate manpower for servicing the same.  My advice is to not fall into this trap.  Many private approved CNG vendors do a pretty decent job for half the money and provide you good service at your door step.

    • My new Hundai i10 lpg..

      Exterior Vey super in its class n money.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfort in its seating. Its cool for 5 memebers and also some luggage. Its space also good wth compare to other cars.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I am very happy wth its Engine n pick up. The only thing I am Dissapoint is its Mileage.. I am getting 10kmpl in city n 14kmpl on Hiway wth 50% Ac on. The shifting of Gear has no Problem, but mainly in Reverse Gear i am having Some problem. I Suggest Company to rectify the proble.

      Ride Quality & Handling Its Handling is Super in any roads.. N wht can i say abt Quality, now a days no company is giving perfect Quality.

      Final Words I perfer my Frnds to have this car in any respect wth out any Hestitate, but just thing once on Mileage, so that U may not b sad aftr purchasing it.

      Areas of improvement In my view Hundai Company has to improve its Mileage n be on its words for given Mileage in Papers n Advt.. So that customers have no problem in choosing their Brand cars in Future.

    • My i 10 magna LPG 1.1

      Exterior Best in its class.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Giver feeling of driving luxurious car initially thought of wagon R duo but then bought i 10 5 people can seat comfortably.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear shift is smooth except reverse gear  you dont feel whether your car is running on petrol or lpg virtually no difference.

      Ride Quality & Handling Satisfactory good ground clearence.

      Final Words Bought on 11 nov 2012 at INR 477474 on road after discounts Electric red colour  freebies include floor mats, mud flaps, pioneer DEH 1490 music system with 4 pioneer 2 way coaxial gs 624 (@ 2500 extra) speakers ,no plates body cover steering cover 
      I started filling auto LPG after 1600 kms LPG mileage with 50 % AC in city is 10.50 and highway 14.50 autoLPG cost 53.30/Kg.

      Areas of improvement I dont know but mileage is on lower side odo clocks 3180 second service is not yet done.

    • Perfect car for confortable drive

      My experience during buying car, it is good. In riding- i very excited every time to go long deive with my car because my car runninh smooth in highway & no pain on leg & back if i am going long drive Looks - this car is perfect for my family Services - no more cost for services, hyundai team also cooperate with customer for better service. Good services of my car. I running my car last 4 years but no breakdown till time. So i am happy for ridding my car.

      1- Buying experience is good. It is in the budget. 2- Riding is fine. 3- Looks is fine, and performance is fair. 4- Servicing cost is not much and maintenance needed. 5- Pros - In budget and fuel economy is good. average of fuel is good. Cons - Speed and engine power. Stop in traffic multiple times
