Exterior One will recognise it as i20 in first glimpse. The aerodynamic looks seem to be inspired by Hyundai Verna - The best selling premium sedan in India. Trendy looks and toppings like - Indicators in ORVMs, treny door guards, sporty roof rails, alloy like wheel caps and key less entry keep this car par in the competition.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Rear AC vent - First to introduce in this class. 

Dual color dash board - Beige and black - Again the essence of Verna.

Space is ideal for 4 persons. 5th can be adjusted, not forefitted.

The thin sporty seats are little uncomfortable in long runs. Headrest are undetachable and good for nothing. It has a comfortable drive (even on the high speeds like 100-110 KM/hr), Boot space is impressive. Can easily accomodate 2 big suitcases.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The gear shifts are buttery and controls at feet are soft. Suspension is soft and I found it better than Swift. Though I beleive Swift has a stronger body capacity/tolerance.

1.1 litre diesel engine is quite and delivers a good drive. Fuel economy is yet to be tested - Have heared that it delivers 18-20km/L till second service and estimated to be 22+ km/l after the second service (when engine oil gets changed).

Ride Quality & Handling I am glad that Hyundai is working hard to improve handling of its vehicles. I have been driving Hyundai cars for last 8 years. Currently driving Hyundai Verna 1.6 EX Diesel car. Thanks to the copany that I could very well compare Grand's handling with Verna.  

With 72 BHP, the car's output is not at bad. Ride quality is good in city drives. Car is ideal for city drives and weekend gateaways driving.

Final Words With the refresh looks, i10 Grand has a better card than its matured competitors like Swift, Liva, Beat and Ritz. Drive is fun if less than 110 km/hr. Ideal for Indian roads and customers.

Areas of improvement Hyundai should have few more color options available for this car. It lacks pure red and blue.

Should have a variant with 1.2/1.4 Litre diesel engine for the riders who really want more from their small cars.

 I was floored with the looks of the Car at Ritu Hyundai, Kalyan. They had a wine red colour on display. The tail lamps add to the style factor and the front styling too looks contemporary. I was keen on booking red wine, but booked stardust for a better resale :-)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 I did not expect the car to be so spacious being a hatch, it is infact spacious than swift (leg room wise). The push start-stop button, Rear AC vents, 2 din audio system are the sell factors. The interiors too seem new and refreshing. I had been considering Swift Dzire and Amaze and Grand i10(ignoring the price difference), i liked the interiors of Grand the most. Two people of good build can seat very comfortably at the back. 1 well build and 2 medium build people can seat in the back row. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 I was initially hesitant about the engine performance being only a 1120 diesel engine. Hyundai had sent the car to my home for test drive, but I couldn't check the engine power due to the road conditions, so i requested them for another test drive on the highway (which is near their showroom). I took another experienced friend of mine along and the car was just fantastic in terms of pickup. Though you dont get the kick you get in swift, but the power delivery was smooth in laymen terms. The fuel economy company claims is 24kmpl, but I am happy if i get around 19-20 average. 

Ride Quality & Handling

 I did not feel i was driving a diesel, the clutch and gearbox felt very light and smooth. Overall Exceptional.

Final Words

 If you are contemplating buying a hatch, this is the one to go for. 

Areas of improvement  

 Include rear defogger in Sportz variant too.The OEM horn is too weak.

The car is excellent for cities which have good roads. I have purchased car in 2015 and it does not requires much maintenance. It has a sporty look and is very good in performance. It service is easily available and is also the HCOTY 2015 so overall it is a good car at this price and has a good value for money.

 last week i have puchased this car and dirve more than 850km till date and never feel that i am driving a hach back its total give me the feel like a sadan. before taking the dicision to purchase this car i have take the test drive of swift and etios also but i didn't get the good feel in both of them like which i feel in grand lingo... finaly i say this is the total value of your money.

I have purchased new GRAND-I10 SPORTZ CRDI Engine on 30th Dec, 2013.  I travelled 978 km happily.  After 55 days, i have given my vehicle for servicing at your authorised show room.  After teflon coating  and anti rust coating, they observed that carrier and inter cooler has damaged.  I surpirsed that there is no accident occured, i have not felt any jerks during my travel, how those parts are damaged.  During 2 months i enjoed very much with this vehicle.  Why the comapny has produced the delicate parts for this nice vehicle.  For replace those parts minimum time taken your company is 15 days and unexpected expenditure is Rs. 25000/-   My sincere advise to HYUNDAI company, produce strong parts which is likely to be damaged  for indian roads.  I never expected this type of experience with great  HYUNDAI company. My friends and family members are using so many vehicle from HYUNDAI company.  Kindly take my feed back in positive manner.

Exterior is simply superb and catches every eye and perfect looking hatch back

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Pretty Satisfactory/ AC Vents are well positioned/ Good Start/Stop button. I have been wondering where did the Hyundai design team found so much interior space which the Maruthi Swift Team missed to find. Rear seating is pretty decent for average built 3 adults.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance for a 1.1L capacity is good, cant expect a performance of 1.2 or 1.3L engine. Seems feul economy is around 19kms (expecting better mileage after first and the 2nd service) Gear Box shift is the best.

Ride Quality & Handling Gives driving pleasure for sure. I have driven a few 100 kms, touched 130kms without any noise or engine overhead. Decent Suspension. Final Words- Overall I felt that this is the car that I have been waiting for. Defnitely value for money and would love to drive this amazing discovery which is exactly placed in between i10 and i20.

I am looking forward for the mileage once the 1st or 2nd service is done. If it proves to be anything more than 22kmpl, then am pretty sure that this car is a super hit model in Hyundai

Areas of improvement Should have had Optional variant in Sportz too. ABS is missing/ Alloy Wheels in this variant was a definite miss(other models sportz variant comes with alloy wheels) For god sake stop this rigid head rest, its good for nothing. Seat quality could have been much better.

Exterior It is good and nice designed.The color i have taken is wine red wihch is really fluidic design. The backside is very nicely designed.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good and seats are more comfortable.The boot space and cabin space is plus point of this vehicle. Also provided the rear ac vent which is one more plus point. You can always use this vehicle in city.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pick up is little problem but ok on highway.The bonet is small as compare to swift which helps easy ride in city. The engine noise is more in case disel car.

Ride Quality & Handling Good.the streating is good and helps in smooth driving.

Final Words Good for money. Nice City car.Go for this car if you are looking gud average and gud quality car. I had long drive of around 250km. Very smooth driving experience. Nice breaks and clutch and gear. Really value for money. And around 8 colors are avilable which is plaus point.we bought wine red which is new color.

Areas of improvement Horn is very bad. When I bought,it was working some time. Then I had replaced the new one. They should come up with Auto  mode also in disel.
