Exterior After being 6 years old vehicle its exteriror still competes with todays all lux. cars in market.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Cream coured dashboard gives u a pleasent look in car nd sitting is bit low bt its cool wen u sit in it...

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very powerful pickup nd speed is damn good and gearbox is very smooth only d bad thing is Fuel efficience very low as per other car Maximum 10 on highways too...

 

Ride Quality & Handling U will enjoy this vehicles ride. handling is OkOk. Vibrates if u go TOP speed dat is near abt 140 - 160 kmph.

 

Final Words This vehicle never lets u down makes u feel dat u have a big car unstopable Low maintaince. Money worth. If u neglect fuel efficiency and ya Best in price Enjoye d ride.

 

Areas of improvement No need of improvement. because huyndai is giving u too much in tis price.

A very good car. It is a good family car. Low maintenance, good style.

Exterior Bonnet should be uplifted at a level with boot.Fron Grill may be improved and may be different from VERNA model.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space between rear seat and front seat to be increased.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent though there is scope for fuel economy. With Air Conditioner on the Engine does not deliver the required power particularly in Hilly Terrains.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality excellent but breaks are weakand do not give full confidence to the Driver on Highway Speeds above 70 Kilmeters speed and are risky. Disc brakes on all four wheels required.

Final Words Car is excellentand value for money and the most competetively priced. Please do not phase out the car but improve it Brakes.Looks by uplifting the height of Bonnet area and add minor freebies like Time Peace, Pop up or small Radio Aerial as in contemporary Cars and Fog Lightas standard equipment.It may cost a bit more which is acceptable.

Areas of improvement Exterior looks.As suuggested above and add more Colours i.e Light Blue and Light Green etc.

The wonderful performance and negligible maintenance cost.The front backside is high but Bonnet is very low. Funny look

 

 

I own a Hyundai Accent car - Model GVS. I bought this car from Bangalore in Jan 2004. The car has developed severe corrosion problems over the last 4 years:

 

* Near the dicky

* On the door frames, just below the window pane

* Under the bonnet several places, including a gaping hole near the bonnet cover)

* Radiator support beam

 

We did not think that corrosion would spread to such an extent, but in what was the last straw, most recently the AC stopped working and when we took it to the service station they told us that the condenser had developed a leak. On further investigation they told us that this was due to the radiator hitting the condenser and damaging it and this happened because the common support beam on which both the radiator and the condensor sit was heavily damaged by corrosion and very weak. 

 

We did not expect such problems from a Hyundai car. We don't live in a place like Mumbai where corrosion can occur. I am attaching photographs of the radiator support beam and other areas of corrosion on the car body to this review. 

 

It is really disturbing that a Hyundai car could develop such severe corrosion problems so quickly. We went through considerable expenses to get the radiator beam and condenser problem fixed, However the other, extensive corrosion problems still remain. 

 

When we contacted Hyundai to either replace our car or at least reimburse us for the expenses incurred in solving the radiator beam related problems they said that there is nothing wrong with the car as such and refused to do anything except give an estimate and then do the work and charge for it. 

 

I would advice people to think twice before buying a Hyundai Accent GVS .

Nothing MuchCorrosion Issues

 

Accent Executive BSIII PETROL (Just before the launch of BSIV)

Purchased in Mid-May, 2010.

Driven 13491kms.

Fuel Economy 9.3kmpl (with AC On)

Faced problem with Fog on the windscreen during Light Rain, and at nights, it was difficult to drive.

 

Exterior Looks good and quite stylish from outside, Tail Lamps are crystal clear and enhances overall car looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quite Spacious, 3 people can easily sit at rear. Boot Space is also good. But Lacks space in glove box. Bottle space on front doors should be bigger. Leather Gear knob and steering with overall Beige Interior gives a superb feeling inside the car. Seats are comfortable. Instrument Cluster on Dashboard is outdated.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is responsive at both Low and High RPM. Low Fuel Economy, I was expecting atleast 14kmpl, i have clocked 13000km and still getting 9.3 kmpl (AC On). May be I'll get enough mileage after switching off the AC). Gear Shift is normally smooth, but sometimes it looses its smoothness. The same problem with Steering. But overall, gear shifting is smooth, fast and easy...

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is awesome, with the price tag its carrying, the car is must for those who have budget of around 5 to 6 lacs. Ride is smooth with comfortable seating position. Steering is smooth, responsive, stable without any abnormal vibrations.

 

Final Words I don't regret buying this car. I've clocked 13491 kms in 7 months and Its superb. If you have budget for 6 lacs, go for this.

 

Areas of improvement Dashboard, Instrument Cluster, Automatic Antenna, Electrically retractable ORVMs, Power ORVMs, "Auto" feature in Power Window, Variant with Alloy Wheels, More Space in Glove Box. Vipers should be more effective. More Powerful Headlamp. 2-Din Good Looking Music System like i20.

i certainly own an accent gls its giving a lot of problems the engine is very poor if i go in highways  maruti suzukis omni,versa,alto,swift over take me by seeing this i purchased new versa it is very good and have more pick up than accent glsno there is no good fuel economythe conditions of the car is worst

Its a wonderful machine packed up with company fitted central locking, power window, defogger, power steering, adjustable steering etc. Good lookin and stylish wooden intereier, good space and bigg boot room , nice comfort, i never gets tired even on a long drives.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Fast  impressive pickup, arnd 10 km pl fuel eco, very smooth and responsive gear box. the gear box is very smooth ,any 1 can easiliy operate with a fingure also. Very responsive engine gives high power at a lower rpm compaired 2 the others segments por even heigher also. Engine power is also very responsive.

Ride Quality & Handling

Superb handling, and gr8 ride quality, very smooth drive.

Final Words

Nice firm build, lovely comfortable car.
