    DRIVING:
    Few thousand kilometers

    Exterior:

The car is very well designed and the aerodynamic shape provides a very smooth and comfortable drive. The curves and edges are beautifully shaped to give it a modern and sporty look.

    Interior (Features, Space & Comfort):

Interior quality and design is top notch and the mix of black and beige shades makes the cabin feel roomy and spacious.  Space and comfort are A + and you won’t feel tired even on the longest of drives. The steering and the control designs are spot on. Ergonomics are fantastic and you can control the entire car without even raising your palms off the steering.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:

The heart of this city is a gem of an engine. German car makers have commented that Honda makes the best petrol engines so you cant get a better review than that. It is so smooth and silent that sometimes its hard to make out the revs even on a high RPM.

Fuel economy is comparable to any hatch back, coz this being a 1500 cc automatic, returns a real-time mileage of 11kmpl in city traffic and 16-17 kmpl on the highway, which is actually what I get with my Maruti Zen Estillo.

The 5 speed Automatic gear box with paddle shift is a joy to drive. The “D” drive option is best suited for city driving conditions and offers you a comfortable and effortless drive. Gear shifts are smooth and you never feel that lack of power or sudden jerks during gear changing. The “S” sports mode is for that F1 driver in you, which gives you the option of changing gears manually with a flick of your fingers. The up shifts are super quick where your right hand fingers take you +1 up from 1st gear to 5th gear in no time. The response time in the change of shifts is amazing and also during downshifts when you need that sudden surge in power for those over taking maneuvers. It actually makes you wonder why cars ever came with a gear stick and a clutch

    Ride Quality & Handling:

The City does look delicate and fragile but it gives you the feel of a well built sturdy car. It handles very well on high speeds and the low ground clearance gives you that extra stability. It sticks well on those hard corners also and the 15 inch wheels with 175 mm of rubber give you a great drive. Ive driven on 160 kmph on the Mumbai Pune expressway and couldn’t feel a thing.

    Final Words:

The City is easily the best sedan right now in its class. Well designed, great driving pleasure, excellent engine and unmatched fuel economy, it’s a car you’ll keep on driving.
