 Exclnt pickup with full A/c.  I hired a MARUTHI Swift dezire for my south canara trip ( three days - very bad for ghat roads with a/c on. Forced to switch off ac).  My i10 is best performer with full a/c even in worst ghat roads.  Best value for money. Have driven for 4000 kms in the worst of the conditions.  Could not understand why this car was discarded by Hyundai.  i seen santro ( old engine and old look cost 4l) ,wagon R duo ( engine made for petrol but converted to lpg gives high maintanace after 2-3yrs. for dedicated lpg engine you can think.cost 4l), maruti A-star ( less boot and head space cost 4l ), spark (its a good car but safty wise i am not happy. i think you have to scarp it after normal collision cost 3.5), i20 ( just arrived its going to improve suerly, cost 5.5l), tata indica saffire ( show me any 3-4 year old indica and compare it with any old maruti or hyundai car, you will get your answer. colour, ouside metal, interiors, engine noise , maintanace all gets sucks in indica. tata motors are for trucks not for cars, ask any expert or travel agent. cost 4.5l) U-VA (very nice car but less average cost 4.8l). The best part is the new gear placing style which frees a lot of space in the front and makes this car spacious. No other car in its class has such great styling and interiors. This one is a true beauty which gives good power with good fuel efficiency. Overall great value for money. Think 1000 times before choosing any other small car over this.
