Exterior The looks of the car are very good especially the head light and front grille are the best. There is no need of any much improvment in this section

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Quality of interiors is ok but there a still a room for improvment. The Air conditioner in this one is the best in its segment

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Engine respose is Excellent there is no turbo lag or other problems. but he best one is the gearbox of this vehicle. it gives a good experience while driving.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is fair enough. you won't notice any small bumps. The steering is pretty responsive. The braking is so good that some times u need to watch your back while braking(maybe due to ABS).

Final Words A very good car for those who want to buy a mid segment diesel car.

Areas of improvement My suggestion to ford is. Man you are in India so keep the controls in Indian way rather than the american way. The controls on left are really irritating if you drive different cars.The controls on left also prevent you changing gear and using the controls at the same time.and even a bit more ground clearence helps the driver to have peace of mind even on a bumpy road.

Guys I own the new Fiesta Sxi 08 model and its a fantsatic car. i love the feel of the car, its size is perfect for the crouded Mumbai Roads. It is indeed the best car to drive in its segment, its so smooth and the driving vision is very clear.. it has shortest turning radius thus making it very easy to manuvour in city trafic... and one has to actually experience the driving dynamics when driven on highways WOW is the word!!! try it to believe me... i loved the service so far from Shaman - Mumbai... it has gr8 milegae for this 1.6 engine car something which my previous hatchback wasnt able to match... overall a fantastic car and a good buy and value for your money.. driving the fiesta makes me feel that the Mumbai roads are quite smooth since I can hardly feel any ditches and unevenness... Go for it guys Dont think twice!!! this segment cars and above are not brought for Investments they are brought for luxury and this has it I must say... enjoy driving guys!!!

I purchased Ford Fiesta ZXi Diesel about three months ago, after a long research.Car Wale has helped me a lot in my research. Car is in general is very good.It is a pleasure to drive car in high ways and through city for the driver will feel the punch and stability with control.I found the vehicle gives me reasonable mileage of 19.5 km/ltr average with AC on.However in city drive occasionaly I heard some thud like sound comes out of gearbox.On inspection ford,s technican could not identify any problem. I strongly feel that the vehicle worth the money I spend.Without hesitation I can recommend this vehicle anyone who is interested in driving own.

Superb performance,highly responsive as compared to other cars,good fuel economy 13 kmpl in city and 15.5kmpl on highways even my speed varies from 120-165 0n highways

Final Words

I bought the new Ford Fiesta 1.6 zxi after driving Ikon for one and half years. It was a great experience because of the peppy engine. I love high speed driving and bought the car for same reason after test driving SX4, Verna and Honda city. This is a true value for money car.

I was on my way to Jaisalmer when 40 kms before Bikaner my vehicle was hit by a running camel from left hand side. My speed was high as usual and suddenly i saw a running camel coming from right side, even after taking the vehicle to the extreme right it hit my car and i turned my steering to left after the collision. Thanx fiesta that not even one of us got hurt although the camel hit front left pillar and the vehicle sustained damages on bumper, bonnet, windscreen, roof and even dicky.

I am thankful to almighty for saving us and to fiesta... car which i love a lot and now a true fan of the vehicle and the safety of passengers which the brand promises... and the dealer K.S. FORD who provides superb services for the state of rajasthan. It is the great value for money.

This is initial review. Will write more once i drive more.

I finished 600 kms in ford fiesta. Second time i checked i got mileage of 11.1 kms in city driving

the techniques used

a) No AC when below 40 kms drive- 40% of my journey

b) Speed of 70-80 on highway which is 30% of my journey

c) switching off the engine whenever signal is more than 30 secs.

Since the first service is long time off, i think 11 kms in city driving is decent. May increase to 12 with post service.

Why i am Fida?

1) I found Planet Ford service in Pune very good. Though they try to hoodwink you on negotiated accessories items by putting in old stock rather than new stock. But overall my experience with them was good.

2) The space inside is very good and for tall drivers like me with long legs, the adjustable steering is a boon.

3) The AC is powerful

4) No bumps and humps on the road. More sturdier on the road.

Things to improve

a) Response on mail- I checked on few points with Customer service on mail. They still have not responded.

b) Better information to Customers when giving delivery. I did make few mistakes when driving car first time of driving in top speed of 120-140 which i shouldnt have done

c) Dealer only gave fuel of Rs.200 and i took it from Pune. Dealers of others car give atleast Rs.1000 fuel for customers coming from Mumbai and locally atleast Rs.500

It is maybe my clutch handling so can not say if they need to improve but car stops when in first gear. One has to be very careful on clutch in first gear. Never faced this problem in Tata Indica which i owned and Wagon R which is my second car.

 i am a proud owner of the ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi ZXI ...this is my second car which replaced my my IKON zxi 1.6 ..cant compare ...

Well the car build quality is little too less ...i had taken this car about 4 months nad driven about 2000 kms ..trust me the side door pads have started to ruttle ...the right front fender has started to shake and the body feel is flimsy ..the ikon ZXI which i drove 75000km for 6.5 years guys i tell you no noice what so ever and built quality was amazing ...any way ..the seating comfort is best for 4 adults 5th one is little cramped the back head rest when down maken back seater uncomfortabe .....Noicy engine ...Ok cool guys a lot negatives ...there are goodies as well..

Engine has a smooth accelaration ...excellent milagae @ 18KMPL in chennai city roads ..breaking is good ..good styling ..excellent boot space ..the rear looks superp ...The drive quality is good for a family drive ...not fit for racing ...things little worry me is the suspension is it is too stif on a single drive but when fully loaded it is the  best floats over pot holes ...Turning radius is excellent you dont have to keep going back and forth in stiff corners ..

I had driven 2000 kms i must say it has been behaving good ...Road grip is good may be because i had changed the tyres to 185/65 with alloys ...engines is little noicy at the low end but cools down at high speeds ...A/C is excellents chills at no time ..dash takes to the good old days of 60 with analouge ...

Little higher on pricing ...must have ABS & Air bags as well

Ford engineers please rework on suspension ....

Great family car to drive with your spouse on the side and child at the rear with melody from your indeck car audio down the hill side ....
