Exterior Amazing, aerodynamic better than other car, Look very cool and nice.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Lots of space, Driving comfort is amazing, i tried 800 and nano, Matiz is far better than others.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good, Fuel I am getting 20 in Highway, city I am getting around 12-15 depending on speed and how frequently you are changing the gear, gear is lil hard but ok.

Ride Quality & Handling Fantastic, amazing power steering, power break, ac.

Final Words Before buying this I had fear about space parts, all parts are available in Bangalore and even I have fitted maruti parts for lower arm suspension and bush. I am driving this car for local as well as some long trip and this wounder has never let me down.

And Mechanic friend assured me before buying this all parts are available, yes he is right, i am getting all parts in JC Road and other parts of bangalore. I am happy with my little wounder, its power steering is awesome, ac is cool and overall experience is five star if you consider the price:)

I am surprised why daewoo failed cause they had this little wounder, perhaps their marketing policy was not right. But I must say this is one of the Best car they produced for Indian people and in my locality only i can see 20-30 matiz running and i love the driving pleasure.

Dear All, I am new to the world of matiz, with 2001 model matiz as its second owner. Its previous owner was a Bank Manager.He sold it after 9 years and 84k on the clock

       The exterior is good, even spark-its follower  irritating me with its rear.

I was looking for Maruti 800 AC because my weekend journey to my home  requires to voyage 125 KM to a single side. But the pricing of  M800AC was made me for a second thought. Then my frineds informed me about this vehicle. Comparing between Matiz and M800 had huge differences . After seaching through net I decided for matiz. Yes I have spend few bucks for distributor, wiper linkage so far, and front suspensions are remaining as unattended. My relative who ever travelled in my vehicle is happy. I am expecting my child whom I am expecting within 3 month will be comfortable.

I am satisfied with what I have from a 9 year old vehicle,

Final Words

If you get a good vehicle , matiz won't be a burden for you, It won't make your pocket torned.

Areas of improvement  

  I found some patches on few parts of the body,

Exterior is very beautiful and a true family car. It was ahed of its time then. With stylish areodynamic design ( which latter followed by all carwalas) which is about 1st happening then, a best designed car in all respect.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very specious and comfortable no huidding together for 5 persons - front is very spacios as well the back side. With comfortable adjustable seating and head rest. However front side vie by driver is little difficult without lowering head sideways. Steering and joystckis are very smooth and very comfortable ride on highways.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Quite ok, gear box little jammy type, but I gave hard time to all the cars on highways with fast pick-up, speed and power requirement.

Final Words Alas ! finally it is orphaned. Like a leftout child on a crowded platform, it has nobody to look after, but trying hard to perform even after so many years of run. I very fondly remeber, with my interior decorated with cartoon printed seat covers , I used to love to hear passing remarks oh. so beautiful car ( it is golden yellow exterior).

 Body is Small and ready to turn in a small space too. Though the Body looks small, the interior feel large. It is not a small car though from the inside....A Big Thumb for this....too!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Spacy and nice fitting. Dashboard and everything else were upto the Quality. I have no word much about it since I am very happy with the interior design and features.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 I onwed Maruti 800, then Matiz, when Comparing between them, Matiz is giving me very nice and comfortable to travel. Shocking is not much in Matiz. The performance is better to my Maruti 800. The Body is much stronger too. It also has 6 Gears.

 Easy maintainance and almost the parts are similar to of Maruti 800. Only the Engine Head is different, rest it is same to me. I can use Maruti 800 parts...Proof to my Car.

Final Words

 If I have a Choice between Maruti 800 and Daewoo Matiz...I would definitely go for Matiz....

Exterior

Definitely one of the most good looking cars, the exteriors are awesome considering the fact that this car came to India almost 16 years ago, the tail lamps look beautiful are designed well to match the rear body.

This car has an aerodynamic design and moves swiftly. The draw back I noticed on the exteriors part is the fading of the headlamp dome.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interiors are not bad for the given value of the car, the car has adequate boot space at front as well as rear, the music system and A/c ( Daewoo) is good. excellent view  for driving and seating comfort, thanks to a strong suspension and shocks.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 I have been driving this cute car for almost 6 years, and I have done more than 55,000km, in total the car is nearing 1 lakh km, Engine performance is excellent, gearbox is good, and good mileage on highwaye, gives around 18 to 19km per litre, mileage on city roads are lesser, gives around 12 km per litre, pick up and speed is very good, on highways;we can easily do 120km speed and the car stays steady and in control, couple of draw backs are:

Coolant leakage that sometimes occurs from the hose pipes. ( this car has 6 or seven different hose pipes connected to one another for circulating the coolant). The coolant tank requires close montoring and top up, sometimes the hose need to be replaced.

The head lamps are good looking, but the seem to get faded and dull in appearence due to heat and sun, this affects the quality of the light to some extent.

 Drive is pleasent, no major handling or maintenence.

Final Words

 This car is definitely worth more than it's current market value considering it's features and performance.

Unfortunately, Daewoo motors has stopped this car since 11 years, if it continued to produce, I bet this car would have been a major competitor for other cars in the same segment, with furtther improvements this car most probably would have been the best.

Exterior Excellent, nice aero design provides good lookwith diffrence.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good, Specious in it`s class. Quslity excellent.back seat hight is comfortable that one can seat km/hours together wtihout stop.it gives huge space feel  inside from back.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No match for this smal wonder.gear box is the only negative feature .specailly 2nd gear is not up to the mark.stiffone

Ride Quality & Handling Super, excellent riding comfort is very good  even after driving of hunreds of kolometer at one go.

Final Words It gives 15- 17 km in city driving condition and on highway it is giving 22-24 km. with AC on it gives 16-17 km on highway  -but you have to control youe speed 80- 90 km/hr. chhota packet-  but unlucky people do not recognise your true value .
