Exterior Nice Overall Design.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent interior Space at this price point, comparatively smaller boot.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent Engine, Fuel Economy & Gear Box. During my last visit to workshop, Driving Tips from mechanic helped increase Fuel Economy by 20%  to 18 Kmpl in City Driving @ Jaipur ! (25% A.C used in current weather, 80% single occupant driven). Very useful for Spark owners, here are they....Don’t need to press accelerator at all to drive the car ! 

(A) Put in 1st gear, release clutch slowly, car will start rolling smoothly, no need to press accelerator at all !!! 

(B) Shift to 2nd soon after 1st, increase speed by shifting gears up, put 5th gear at 20+ speed 

(C) Car will roll smoothly @30 Kmpl in 5th gear, without using accelerator ! 

(D) In city driving @ avg. speed of 40-50 kmpl, increase speed further by pressing accelerator lightly, use accelerator in between, to maintain the speed.

Final Words Excellent value for Money, Buy it without thinking, Don't be part of crowd taking every Crap from Maruti & Hyndai. Etablished brand charge premium for brand Value & offer costly products.  My service experience @ Chevrolet is good so far, serviced at Geeyam Motors, Cochin. Triumph motors, Jaipur. Exterior A bigger and better looking successful Matiz. Looks are subjective and to me it doesnt look impressive at all from the back.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are not very Exciting, though the beige interiors in later models are still better, Chevys are infact in the category of comfort rides and this in its segment is not an exception.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pickup is on the lower side and if you want to go past that santro or Wagon R in front of you, you really need to rev it hard and leave the rest on the 63 horses that power it.

Mileage - 16.9 is wat GM claims but I do not remember when this number was achieved by it. In city with AC it gives not more 13.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is good and comfortable, steering wheel feels good even at 100kph. But at low speeds it feels heavy.

Final Words If you dont take a small hatchback on vacation and do not worry much about petrol prices and are not into zippy driving this is the compact hatchback you should go for.

I have been using Spark for more that 3 yrs now. I would definitely recommend this car.

Exterior

This car has not an eye catcher. But definitely different look from other cars in this segment.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 One of best thing about Spark is that space utilization. You get a very good head room. Rear seat legroom is okay. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

It gives a decent mileage of 11-12Kms per liter. Gear box is very smooth. 

Ride Quality & Handling

 One of the best. This was told by friends who also owns similar segment cars. Handling is good even at top speed. You don't feel any lag at top speed as well. Almost no noise felt in the cabin. 

 

Final Words

 This car is worth for its money because it comes with a 3 year GM promise. Which covers change of engine oil, oil filters, wheel alignment, ets for free. This alone will save you lot of money. While other car owner started feeling the pinch of new car maintenance after a year Spark owners can stay away from that for 3 years. This is even more helpful for the first car buyer who are not used to regular car maintenance.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - upmarket, aesthetically pleasing beige interiors. if the driver seat is pushed back then the passengers in the rear seat have inadequate legroom. Excellent central locking...has never given me a day of trouble!

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - disappointing engine performance, especially with the AC on.  The back gear remained a problem from the first day ...I have been driving this for the last four years...The headlights were not aligned on the first day and they have remained so thee all these years. My suggestion is to check the car carefully before you take it home!!!

 

Ride Quality & Handling - very smooth handling and good ride quality. Tall persons will feel cramped if they drive for long but since I am a short lady it suits me fine.

 

Final Words  This is a car I love and you will fall fo it's looks. Tremendous value for money considering the fantastic three year warranty. Service is good. The car was giving a mileage of 22km on the highway  when it was new, but now  it is merely 13 Km.

 

Areas of improvement  The engiine feels underpowered. Lacks zing. Chevrolet should add a sound system.

 interiors seems to be spacious but not in real you cannot travel with 5 passangers with luggage comfertablly, ac is realy disappointing not effecient  in summers of delhi its like sitting under a  fan, seats are comfertable but rear seats are not much comfertable lack of legroom boot space is also not very impresive

 engine is very delicate on every service car need a new par like mine at 60000 belts are replaced, they touch no part in three years as car is in warrenty the moment your warrenty is over every thing is needed to be replaced. in last 4 services i have spend approximately 50000rs on my car just to keep it running "IT SUCKS". every time you go for service they say sir this part is need to be replaced because of your bad driving. its not the driving its their explaination for the damaged part. i am also using a wagonr its km running is 175000 km on cng and m realy happy with that car. not even a single day with trouble. no shocker problem no engine problem no worn out timmimg belts nothing just replaced my tires. but with this car on petrol give me a pain in the ass. no resale value a top model car costs 3.72 or more on road but at the time of resale only 90,000rs on the condition that car is running fine . this car is not made for indian road. shocker gets leak with the load of five people on nh1 driving now you can imagin what hapens when we take this on village roads or roads with bumps. this car sucks

 ride quality is good. this car runs like a flowing water with no noise. but again maintainance is that much high you will think twice before you plan a trip.

M NOT HAPPY WITH THIS CAR . ILL PREFFER HYUNDAI SANTRO OR ILL GO FOR WAGONR

 maintainance and parts cost and pls consider the indian roads while you launch a car in india. others manufacture are doing great in the market

 

fuel economy is excilent , small size perfect for city drive,not so spacious, very expensive to maintain , car is very delicate in terms of suspension and engine

Ride Quality & Handling Persisting problems not cared at workshop are making it a tension.

Final Words lack of customer care it's becoming a costly deal for me to have this car because there is no one to take care of during services,after service I have to visit workshop twice or thrice to get corrections in the car.

Really feeling sorry to have such awonderful car where customer satisfation or care is lacking.

I have to get tyres changed at 15000km because no body cared for alignment during services rendered.Bearings not proper staff changed the bearing and charged from me while it was under warrenty,because they didn't new how to claim,as per them. Later they adjusted, after my reminder, in next services.After several reminders of battery check no body bothered and finally battery ran out of water,despite of regular and timely services at company workshop. Within 30 days mine is 4th round to workshop as things have not been taken care of.

Areas of improvement Just improve your customercare, customer satisfaction, and if the customer had invested in your product he should be handled with seriousness. Well versed staff and trained technicians should be placed to solve the problem in one go,they are experimenting the things with customers.
