Taigun Price in Mehsana

I have a Volkswagen Taigun car. I need a spring pad (cap) for the top of the car's rear suspension spring, for which I have to go to the workshop in Rajkot, Gujarat. I said I wanted this part, but they refused to give it to me. They said we cannot give you the part. If you want it, then we will get it fitted here in our workshop. I said I would get it done from outside, you just give me the part, but they said no, this is not our company policy, we cannot give it directly like this. I said, ok, how much will the part cost, and how much will the labour cost? He said the part would cost 900 to 1000 rupees, and the labour charge would be 1500 rupees. I said, When the mechanic outside can do it for me in 500 rupees, then why should I give it to you, and I will have to keep the car here for a day or two. Then he said, We cannot give the part. Even before this, my car had met with an accident like this earlier also. The rear cover and indicator of the side mirror of the car were broken, and the mirror glass, the complete frame and motor were all fine. I told him that I want cover indicators and glass, but the workshop worker said that I will have to buy the complete side mirror, which is joined by the door, then he told me its price was Rs 9000 + labour charges. I got the same work done from an outside car parts dealer for Rs 3500. My whole point is we have bought the car from you, and you are not giving us the part, and you are making useless excuses. Mechanics other than us do not fit the car properly. The warranty will expire. So why are you registered on the right to repair India Government site? When I went to buy the car, they told me that the parts and cars are being manufactured in India now, and hence the service and parts have become cheaper. and the reality is quite different. These people charge a lot, 3x 4x. After giving the car for service, they add unnecessary things to the bill that comes. they put unnecessary things in the requested job without telling you. If you go to the market to buy a small microfiber car cleaning cloth, the one which comes in blue colour, a set of 4 pieces comes for Rs.100, but the workshop people, without telling you, put Rs.100 for 1 piece microfiber in the bill. Similarly, a 3M spray for cleaning the AC vent of a car costs around Rs. 450, but these workshops charge Rs.1681 for it. similarly, a spray for protection against rats costs around Rs. 450, but these people charge Rs.1300. They charge whatever they want. This is my last car in the VW group. you would be better off buying a Toyota, Hyundai or Maruti Suzuki car. I also have a Toyota Glanza car. To date, I have never faced any difficulty in the service. They only charge as much as is required for maintenance and do not take any unnecessary other charges. The service cost is also very low. If you need a part, they do not refuse you. If it is a small part, they change it right there, free of cost.

Defogger from the starting model is a must and a warranty issue for accessories installation. And they are offering more expensive accessories than market price. They have changed the norms.

I purchased a Taigun 1.0 Highline about a year ago. From the early days of ownership, I noticed a noise while applying the brake. I reported this issue to the service centre on two occasions, but each time I was told that it was a common problem with this vehicle. At the time of the first service, after about 13,000 km, the service centre advised me to replace both the brake discs and brake pads at a cost of around ₹12,000. I strongly objected and demanded company support. After considerable follow-up and pressure, they finally agreed to replace the brake discs and pads by compensating about 90% of the cost. In contrast, I previously owned a Maruti Swift, which I drove for nearly 1,20,000 km without needing to replace the brake discs even once. Although Volkswagen eventually addressed the issue, the entire process significantly affected my peace of mind as an owner. In short, while the vehicle performs well in terms of safety and driving comfort—especially on highways—I have serious concerns about its long-term reliability.
