I have been driving the Volkswagen Taigun Comfortline 1.0 TSI manual for a while now, and overall, it has been a good ownership experience. The highlight of the car is definitely the 1.0 TSI engine. For a small turbo petrol engine, it feels quite lively and responsive. In city traffic, it is smooth and easy to drive, and on the highway, the turbo kick gives enough confidence for overtaking. The manual gearbox is light and precise, which makes the car enjoyable for someone who likes to drive. One thing I really appreciate is the stability of the car at higher speeds. It feels planted and safe, which is something Volkswagen cars are known for. The Comfortline variant is the base model, so it does not come with too many fancy features. However, it still has the essentials, and the cabin feels solidly built. Space inside the car is comfortable for both front and rear passengers. Fuel efficiency is decent if driven sensibly. Overall, the Taigun is a great choice for someone who values driving feel, safety and solid build quality over flashy features.

The 1.5 TSI and DSG combination is the strongest case for this car. Power delivery is smooth and linear, gearshifts are quick and well-timed, and the Sport mode adds genuine responsiveness without being uncomfortable for daily use. The interior is well-appointed. Ventilated front seats perform really well. Build quality is also solid throughout.
