I bought this car in august 2018after taking test drives of honda amaze, ford aspire and volkswagen ameo. All these cars are having 1.2 ltr petrol engines,whereas,etios is having 1.5 ltr engine. I drove this car for 3200 km and realised why toyota is global leader? It doesnt have great interior, built quality or attractive looks but comparing with its competitors , it outperform all. My friend discourage me buying a old fashioned cedan but i chose to buy it. Surprisingly, when my friend drove my platinum etios: he was amazed by its performance and said that his next car will be toyota. Got a company fitted double din music system with 6 speakers and a reverse parking camera. Being a music lover, i used to have sony woofer in my old car but its not required now. You cant compare toyota with maruti since toyota emphasize on technology wherein maruti on looks. Most of.maruti cars are having an engine of 1 litre to 1.2 litre. They dont give a pleasant experience on highways. I used to spend 9.5 k on every periodic service MS service master okhla new delhi and gradually people have become friends. One of manager suggested me to go for toyota rather going to ciaz because MS is training their service supervisors to befool customers in order to increase service costs. Why i chose Etios? 1. ENGINE 2. COMFORT 3. RELIABILITY

Please don't buy this car, Toyota is fooling us. Top model costs almost 9 lakh.n for a 9 lakh car it is not all satisfying. Petrol engine sounds like it's a diesel one.and it vibrates like anything. While driving at highway cabin sound is too noisy,all the noise from tyres comes insiDe the cabin.buying this car was biggest mistake of my life.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox We bought this car in March 2017. Good spacious car because we found the Dzire very small for my height (I am 6'-1") We were looking for a car with little maintenance and ease of ownership. Toyota Etios fitted the expectation to the T.

Ride Quality & Handling Though there is a lag in lower gears with the AC on, the car picks up once you move to the 3rd and 4th gears. However we can drive at 2nd gear in city traffic (bumper to bumper). On long drives, it is smooth, and is great to drive even in pot holed roads of our city.  Gear shift is smooth and effortless.

Final Words Nice car if you care about quality and are not worried about gimmicks.  It is definitely much smaller than Ciaz, but quite comfortable when compared to a Dzire or Amaze, Aspire and Xcent.

Areas of improvement Dual wipers, Rear vent AC, better toned panel, fuel gauge (Cannot find out how much petrol remains and how far can we expect to drive with the remaining petrol).  Music system should be much better, Fuel efficiecy requires to be improved.

Actually we need to sell our car which were recently using. So it had sold we are looking for a vehicle with great Mailage and resale value.probably these two are really important Factors to be considered when buying a vehicle. So by considering this to factors and price we bought Etios platinum VXD, .It is a good vehicle gives great travelling experience while travelling. Good fuel efficiency. We bought the 2019 model. But about cons: when in the top end they hadn't provide a touch screen instead the provided a normal music system. Another thing there is rear Ac vents, the exterior design could have been much more better aspecially in the rear portion. If u are looking forward to buy a sedan with fuel efficieny and resale value ,it will be a good choice, there many other choices as well. In my opinion the exterior look could have been much more better.

We have 5 frds in one team...we brought that car in second hand...it was the best experience in road travel...amazing ...we travel from rajapalayam to covai via palani route...super car...

Good safty , good luxuries, but the engine is not powerful and the vechile must also automatic transmission all the car in the segment (means - ciaz,verna,city) not even good feature it is only suit for taxi perpous if the car get AT and good mileage for petrol sure dizer ZXI , ZDI,ZDI+,ZXI+ will not sell even the disel varent must also get Automatic transmission and good mileage of 25km/l or more but dizer will even the eitos may also be best selling car of India

The institute and breed is very good but its mileage is very low, it could have been improved even more, so pay more attention to the mileage of petrol variants. The car is very good. Toyota Etios I like very much, its boot space is very good. I like this space.
