At the show room where I purchased - Nippon Toyota Thiruvalla, Kerala, the sales people have a bad attitude (Take it or leave it) and on top of that gave false information about registration, insurance etc. The showroom seems to be just riding the Toyota fame, and runs this showroom like a government office. Coming to the car, It has poor pickup, and power for the size and weight. For this money you will be better of getting a diesel automatic, if you want the Mileage, Experience and the satisfaction of driving! This hybrid car will only give the regular Petrol car mileage - 13 KMPL, if you drive it as an enthusiast. To get a mileage > 20 KMPL, you need to be over-conscious and meticulous like a machine - gradual acceleration, slow braking for the regenerative action to kick-in, and drive this car below 80 KM/Hr at all times. I felt this car is grossly under-powered and lacks any punch. This car has a poor body shape. I bought it for the Mileage promise and family preference. The parts of this car feels like a cheap car, the cabin is noisy from the under-powered 3 cylinder engine, squeeky plastic parts - especially if your leg hits the middle partition - plastics. This feels a lot like a lower-end Maruti car. Not what you pay 25 Lakh Rupees. The service has been okay till now. But they keep increasing the part in weeks time and charge you the new rates! like its gold. Overall, the only Pro I find in this car is, it forces you to not commit any petty traffic violations - because you drive slow for the mileage, you can't overtake at will, and the safety rating is questionable. So if you want to pay a huge price to make yourself a disciplined driver, go buy it!

Please don't buy this car. The price dropped by 7 lacs from the same showroom when I tried to get it exchanged after finding its quality issues. Toyota is very reluctant to attend to the issue and solve the problem. last week when I wanted to get it exchanged with ROXX Mahindra they contacted the Toyota Ravindu Banglore head office for a rate, and they got a feed that it's a slow-moving car quote less. Then I felt I had been royally cheated.

I have the top-end V variant with a strong Hybrid engine. I bought it in November 2023. I’ll start with the praise first. The car drives very well. The instantaneous torque from the electric motors is something no pure ICE can provide. The CVT gearbox just works; you wouldn’t feel any sudden jerks from upshifts or downshifts. Combined with the electric motors, it just makes life so much easier in city traffic. It’s no slouch on the highways either, yes, there’s the CVT rubber band effect and the car builds speed slower in the mid-high range compared to Turbo Petrols, but what it lacks in a thrilling drive, it more than makes up for in ride quality and a stellar fuel efficiency. The car feels very planted on highways, even on triple-digit speeds, and the steering has nice heft to it based on how fast you’re going. The suspensions are also perfectly tuned, not too soft, not too hard. There’s little body roll, much less than Cretas or some other bigger SUVs. The disc brakes on all four wheels, combined with regenerative braking, make me feel confident about control. I love the 3D parking camera view, although maybe this isn’t such a big thing in 2025 anymore, but really, this is just amazing to have at my disposal for tight parking situations. Something I didn’t realize until I drove our old Creta, the hill descent and ascent controls are also so reassuring, because my street merges to the main road with a steep slope, and often I need to stop at the junction before merging. The car never rolls back even if I lift my foot off the brake. Little things like the wireless CarPlay, ventilated seats, and auto-dimming ORVM are such nice-to-have quality of life improvements. On to the negatives. This isn’t an enthusiast’s car. So, you’ll not have gear shifts to do, and the acceleration and power delivery are kinda linear, not something car enthusiasts are happy with. I could do away with the panoramic sunroof, because I find it lets heat seep into the cabin, especially with the thin cloth blind, which feels very, very low quality. If it were possible, I would have it replaced with something aftermarket that can block more light and heat. This is a problem for this car, the AC has to be on its full capacity during summer to combat the greenhouse effect. Another thing that I dislike is the boot space. The battery placement limits you from putting multiple large trolleys comfortably in the car. These are the only two major complaints that I have. All in all, I would buy it again if I had to buy another car today.

The company claim the overall average is 27.5 Kmpl but actually it is not possible. If you drive on highway but it is near to 25 Kmpl and in city it is near to 27 Kmpl.I think this is nice as compare it to other cars.

Buying was great and I have booked advance in Day 1 of launch and got the vehicle in 3 days of actual launch. Booked Self charging Strong Hybrid "G" Variant . Driving for past 1 month in City only in bumper to bumper traffic gives 26+ mileage. One of instantaneous trip gave me 50 kmpl. I really love the mileage and its great asset of this car Driving:- All city drive almost 500 kms - very smooth and when engine on - you don't feel the vehicle is actual ON. Zero noise but when EV to ICE/Petrol change , there is a feel of sound of engine Looks - Both interior and Exterior are looking pleasant and lovely - I like it Infortainment is very nice having lot of features - I love the instantaneous mileage graph and EV/Petrol how the charging looks great. Performance - happy with the performance so far. It takes care of all bumpy roads Service:- Just save the car for service and noting to elaborate on this as this is a free service - but went for Under Chasis Paint as I stay near the Chennai Beach Pros:- 1. Performance, Driving Comfort, Self Charging Strong Hybrid 2. Mileage - Awesome - if you drive without rash - it gives 35+ mileage (but practically - 26-28 can be ontained) 3. Look and Feel 4. Elaborate Infotainment with lot of features with Heads up display 5. Audio System Cons:- 1. Boot Space limited 2. Switching from EV mode to ICS/Petrol - can hear the motor sound

I was excited to own a Toyota ....but disappointed after getting it due to poor quality of the build..... Compromise done to save cost.....If toyota do not act....probably it would their way for a decline.

They make you go for mid or top variant as we cannot compromise the safety of air bags in low variants be it hybrid or Neo drive. I need to compromise more or either pay more. It definitely best to go for other brands in this segment.

It's an all-around performer. Safety has been enhanced from base variants since 2025, which makes it a value-for-money purchase. The K15C Engine is one of the best CNG-based engines made til date.
