I own the H5 model which is a terrific driving machine especially for indian road conditions.I chose the corolla from the civic and skoda.The most important reason to pick the corolla was its sheer Driving pleasure which is much superior to the civic or the skoda.Amzing for indian road conditionsLittle more exterior styling

Corolla on the whole is a very nice car and the new model is having  very refreshing lokk compared to the old one and comfortable too.

The power,performance,comfort,looks are so impressive that it can flatter anybody to fall in love with it.

The toyota engine gives you the confidence that it can take you anywhere in the world without giving a second thought and resale is also superb.

Owning this car is like owning a sports car if you get sporty air spoiler fittted and cruise on highway which it can easily ask you to cross a speed of 140kmpl above that also but it is risky if you are driving on indian roads.

Toyota Corrolla is my  6th car, first  starting from Primer Padmini to  Maruti,  Palio, Hyundai Accent  and so on. I guess it is the best in this segment & gives full value for money.  The pick up is great, steering  very  comfortable sharp.  Milage gives more than 14+ KPL on highway with AC on. Always feel safe as it has Air bags.

Clutch was a bit hard, but got adjusted. Doors need a big bang like our  Fiat old cars, but never mind they are pretty strong to take the impact.

Looks y sporty from a distance, very comfortable for the rear seat fellows, pick up is great,Doors need a big bang to close, like our old Hindustan Motors, but never mind, these are strong

Comfort : it feels like sitting on a sofa. Only if the driver seat would be slightly height adjustible, then it would be a dream car.
Mileage : More than expectation. Gave 13.1 kms/litre.
Built Quality : feels very safe & strong.
Engine : very silent & powerful
Lights & Boot : Adequate & spacious
Inspite of been driving a Santro & Esteem for years, driving the Corolla HE still feels very easy in the city. Except for the parking space constraints, there are no downsides.
Without doubt it is the best option to buy for those having a budget of 10 lacs.
Its truly among the world's best cars......

my first 670 kms (350 highway, 320 city) full AC gave 13.1 kms/litre

The king till the civic came along , the corolla is the perfect executive saloon with it's safe looks , good fuel economy , interior space & reliability . Performance is very good & so is fuel economy but now since the civic has come along ,it looks plain in & is not as exciting as the civic but now toyota has tried to lower the price to make it attractive again , equipment levels are good , but build quality isn't . There has been a new version launched , expect it in 2008space , mileage , reliability, performanceplain looks, under equipped base version , flimsy build quality

Buying experience: You will be pride of owning a Toyota Corolla. It's for a different segment people overall.
Riding experience: Fun to drive. It's damn stable at high speeds. Confident cornering at 160kmph. Easily you can clock 180kmph. Top speed 202kmph.
Details about looks, performance etc: It's looks very sporty and premium. Performance is amazing. U can play on roads if you love driving.
Servicing and maintenance: Thanks to Toyota for it's Durability. Certainly it has the best quality, durability and very reliable. It's less maintenance compared to any German cars. Equivalent to Maruthi Maintenance.
Pros and Cons: I have a list to mention pros. Con: The parts are very expensive.

I bought a corolla from Galaxy Motors in Defence Colony Delhi.  Worst experience with the car - i won't drive the car myself because the gears are worse than a used 20 year old ambassador.

I've been a lexus driver for years, and am amazed that Toyotas would drive like this.  But the people at Galaxy Toyota confirm that the gears on the corolla indeed suck.

ComfortableBad Gear System. Won't Drive it Myself. GOod for the Drivers.

Exterior-smart and sedate, a good looking limo, the front grille is simplistic but goes with the looks, not much chrome on this model but that is now hardly there on present day cars

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)-comfortable , neat and spacious, but there is a major blind view for the driver if he has to look at traffic to his left(and slightly behind)   parallel towards the co drivers window. The view problem is compounded on round-abouts . The window post blocks this vision---a serious flaw in my opinion.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox- definitely good except that you get an average of about 8 Kms to a litre , A/C on.Even in top gear and low speeds the engine does not stutter or stall , a plus point for city driving(this aspect becomes debatable if the A/C is on)

 

Ride Quality & Handling-good,extemely smooth , takes on turns very gently and the power steering is a big help. Surprisingly the turning radius is not a matter of concern , believe me .

 

Final Words-typical Japanese quality, as expected from them and the Germans not to forget the Koreans!!!

 

Areas of improvement-fuel economy , rear window wipers and distance measuring equipment for ''backing'' the car(could be optional)

 

 

We'll get some overhead lifters, and four barrel quads, oh yeah Keep talkin', whoah keep talkin' FueGo, greased lightnin', you're burnin' up the quarter mile -but what about fuel economy????

Exterior The exterior is very nice because from outside it looks that very rich persons are going in a royal car.The most I like is the lights because they are broad than the all cars right now like accord civic and all.The rear lights are the same very big and broad.And the side mirrors are rotating by which you can see what is coming from all sides.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is very nice and is very good and has a very long space at the back and six people can sit in the car.It is very comfortable while driving.The features are the AC with the heater than the power steering automatic and manual gearbox.Sensors of fuel then sensors of doors.In the rear seat we can also keep some things because the seats some parts are opening with the help of zip.It also has 2 airbags- one for that who drives the car and one for that who is sitting besides the person who drives the car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The gearbox is very nice as it is very smooth and easy to change the gears.It has never problems while changing the gear.It is available in 5 speed automatic and manual.The fuel economy is very nice as the car has a long fuel tank.The milage is 9.6 kpl and the engine is very powerful because it can run on very high speeds like 175 km/h.And it is better than the cruze and civic.

Ride Quality & Handling The handling is superb because the car will never go out of control and so the ride quality is also very nice. Though it is very long it takes very nice and fast turns.The most good is the pickup and is good comparing to accord cruze and civic.

Final Words This is the best car for me and the most good features including. You should buy one today.

Areas of improvement There are no areas of improvement but it should be having a sun -roof and the gps system.

I like the whole interior including the Air conditioner the automatic mirrors and the heater .Theres nothing that I don't like.
