Diesel clutch is of feather lite.....however, I recommend you to check the petrol as well....however...petrol engine is a revotron which has got 3 modes of drive....which is the first in the segment....in fact first when compared with others as well.

Do test drive both cars and let us know your opinion about the two

Heard about petrol version giving on road 16 kmpl, also the reducing difference of per lit price in diesel-pertol is check point..when diesel goes as open to market..
Though may be going for test drive in this week, to compare other aspects of diesel vs petrol especially in cab noise & pedal response.

Welcome to Carwale!
For the Tata Zest, IMO the Diesel engine is much better than petrol and since your running is close to the petrol-diesel borderline, IMO it would be better to go with the Diesel car so that you do not have to worry about those unplanned weekend getaways!

- Thanks for feedback.. actually I am looking to go for ZEST..
confused in Diesel Vs Petrol of ZSET XM.
Guys look forward for your viewes..
My monthly running will be approx 1100 kms..
When compared expenses per month which inclusive of fuel price & EMI, both are at same level.
So confused on same..

This is one of the first true blue reviews of the Tata Zest.
Srikanth...Thanks for it... We would love a more4 detailed report about how you feels about the car and you experiences once you have done more kilometers with the car.
I am surprised that a European car user has appreciated a Tata product..

It is nice to see Tata vehicles getting good reviews, Hope people who buy this vehicle gets Zestified, However I will reserve my comments about the build quality till I see it in flesh and blood, but this comment coming from a person who has owned a VW is worth taking a note off, if it is better than Ford? then it has to be awesome.
